Meadows and Woods.

Judy Rating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely property. House is very inviting and the huge garden is amazing. My dog enjoyed exploring it with Celine's 2 little dogs. Walkable to trails, within 10 minutes drive to beaches, and 35-70 minutes to various parts of the redwood forests. Huge dog park nearby and Moonstone beach where dogs are allowed off-leash. Celine was friendly and helpful, providing lots of tips on where to eat and visit. She also gave me a can of bear spray when I expressed concern about hiking alone at Redwood National Forest. Would recommend!

1 Bedroom Unit Walking Distance to Old Town

Truly delightful to stay at Shin's place. Cozy, inviting, clean, and serene. Made us feel right at home. The beautiful vegetable garden not shown in the pictures was a plus. Well stocked, carefully thought out, and artistically decorated. How lucky we found this airbnb!

The Arcata Cali Cottage

ClarkRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
DO IT. STAY HERE! This was a very special stay as I grew-up living in the main house on the property until moving away for college and then my folks sold "the farm". Jolene did an amazing job turning what was the Old Chicken Coop into a gorgeous guest house. Back in the day I used to play in the little creek, build tree forts in the Redwoods and have sleepovers with my friends in the Coop. It was very cool to spend time on the land I once called home. Jolene was a great host. It is a bit of a trek from the parking area up to the Cottage so be prepared. We unloaded our cooler at the car and brought things up as getting a rolling cooler up the gravel path isn't possible. You are truly immersed in nature and the valley is surrounded by trees. It's nice and quiet and is often a little warmer (less fog) then in Arcata proper. Recommendations: Mad River Brewing, Arcata Pizza Deli, Los Bagels, Redwood Park, Tomo Sushi, Arcata Marsh, 6 Rivers Brewing & Redwood Curtain Brewing.

Attractive Downtown Cottage

AaronRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This attractive downtown cottage was lovely, convenient, and centrally located among many things to do in Arcata. The space provided everything I needed for my stay and the host was left clear instructions for check-in, amenities, and things to do. When I return to Arcata, I would definitely book this place or another space hosted by Humboldt Vacation Rentals. Thank you so much!

Black Cat Alley Hideaway

FrancoisRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a great stay at Bob and Amy's. Very cozy studio that we used for 5 nights to explore redwoods, lagoons, beaches and Eureka. We took advantage of the full kitchen in the studio for some light cooking, bathroom with shower was fine, enough room and comfortable to enjoy dinner at night. Nicely decorated studio, with taste, was a plus, you feel like at home! Close by trails and redwoods, within walking distance. 10 min walking to Arcata downtown (Wildberry Market grocery store, a few restaurants...). Amy welcomed us the first day, very friendly host.

What a cute place! The decor is so cheerful and inviting. We felt right at home while in town to see the redwoods. This place is a gem for those traveling with their pets. My dogs and I loved having a private side yard to stretch in between adventures. Very friendly and proactive hosts! Thanks for having us!

An Architects Studio- In a Secluded Forest

ChelseaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved staying at the Studio! Our favorite parts included the windows above and behind the bed, the shower that opens up to the forest, the patio, and the beautiful kitchen. When we first checked in, Karl gave us many recommendations of places to go and sites to see. We took his recommendation to go to Luffenholtz Beach that evening and it became a highlight of the whole trip! A drive along Scenic Drive into the town of Trinidad is also a must. Lastly, as other reviews have stated, there is a cooler backpack available to borrow that really came in handy for our adventures into the Redwoods. Thanks so much for everything!
