Great place for a stay, very well laid out for a family with kids. We were right by the water just steps away from the dock. Good bake for the price and good amenities in the unit

María was very friendly and quick to respond. She was also flexible with our check-out, which was very helpful. The place was even better than the pictures and a lot of thoughtful touches both in the kitchen ( coffe/tea/ salt/pepper) and the bathroom ( toothbrush/paste). The beds were super comfy, the location at the pier with a sea view was perfect for us; we enjoyed our short stay very much.

The space was as described. Everything necessary was available. Bjørn responded quickly and kindly and was helpful. Check-in and checkout worked smoothly.

We spent exceptionally beautiful days in a very romantic place in a prime location. We liked the view of the water and the property decorated with many plants. The warm and cordial manner of Wenche and Leif and the pleasant conversations made the stay a special experience.

It is a practical cottage with a nice atmosphere. We felt right at home there. It was very nice that we could play in the garden and the sandpit, swing and slide provided a lot of fun with our daughter. From the cottage, you can take beautiful walks to the fortress and the harbor.

It was a comfortable stay for us at this place. The neighbourhood was beautiful and the place was easy to find as well. The apartment was neat and clean and looked nice. Overall we had a great time. Recommended…

Location, location, location! Grete's place was in an amazing location with great views from the deck. The public beach at the end of the street is beautiful and convenient and all the restaurants and local businesses are within a 5 minute walk. Also the airbnb itself had everything we needed and she added personal touches by leaving us fresh flowers, a snack and soda water.

Fantastic service to deploy. Friendly people, great place, short distance to the city center. I🙂 will gladly come again 😊

Here, I felt at home right away. Elisabeth and Geir are very nice, and the apartment is cozy. Here you have everything you need. Communication is fast, and minor issues were resolved immediately. I can definitely recommend the accommodation and have already booked for August.

An apartment with a slightly unusual layout and old furnishings. The beds are very comfortable. There is indeed some noise from outside, but with earplugs I slept wonderfully. Kitchen has a small microwave and an oven and a small dishwasher. What I missed was a kettle because I don't drink coffee. The terrace and the view are great and the reason we booked this, fortunately it was also nice weather! The contact with Olav was good even though we did not see each other live, but there was no reason for that. Would definitely recommend it!

Staying with Mona (and the rest of the family) exceeded all our expectations. Fantastically clean, nice and practical apartment with a beautiful outdoor area (several options arranged for just us) and not least a fantastic friendly host with both son and husband in tow. They were always ready to help us, and always with a smile. A hidden secret of the apartment on Hisøya is the good ferry connection to the quay in the heart of Arendal. We used this diligently and thought it was a great way to both be central parts of the day and have it quiet and peaceful otherwise. All this without controlled car use and parking problems. Both the apartment and the host are highly recommended.

this is an amazing place: very, very large beautiful apartment. I especially love that she put a beautiful fresh flower that opened its petals while I stayed. these hosts are very attentive and responsive and the place has a wonderful peaceful spirit to it. I really rested well there

Perfect apartment in a neighborhood without through traffic, only 5 min walk from the city center. Peaceful and nice. The host was excellent with communication and responded quickly to questions. Recommend staying here.

I really enjoyed my stay in Anitas house. The flat is very nice with enough space and you have quite a beautiful view on the water from the bedroom, which I really enjoyed. It is also perfectly located in the centre of the city, so that you can easily reach everything. Very much recommended!

This place is a fascinating gem. The view is gorgeous. You’ll feel right at home and might even contemplate moving to the neighborhood on a permanent basis. Stayed for 5 nights, would have stayed 50

Southern feeling! Clean home, very good bed. We used it as a place to stay after the zoo, with children. Nice garden for children to play in and beautiful terrace with sun for adults. I would use it again.

Our stay at Joakim’s place was magical! The view was incredible and the cabin cozy and inviting. Joakim was responsive and friendly throughout the stay. We certainly hope to come back in the future!

We highly recommend the house of Therese! A beautiful location with a lot of soul. We arrived at a sparkling clean apartment with good beds and a well-equipped kitchen. Unfortunately, it was so hot that we didn't need to fire up the charming fireplace in the kitchen. It took us 5 minutes to walk to a small ferry, an attraction in itself, which took us straight into Arendal city center in a few minutes. We'd love to come again!
