Hostel holiday rentals in Arkansas River

This is an unusual airbnb and an unusual hostel. A daily cleaning task, but all the food you can eat, donated from local grocers from stuff unsold by sell-by date. Many live-in staff people always around, really friendly, interesting people, lots of repeat-guests, interesting collections of model/toy cars and books. It's a fun place just to hang out, never mind access to all the arts and hiking and cultural stuff Santa Fe offers. Don't miss the used bookstore down the road called 'Books of Interest'. When I was there, everyone pitched in cheerfully on their daily tasks.

The place is nice and quiet. It is a hostel, so you will be asked to participate in the up keep of the community areas, this can range from sweeping to taking out the trash. Food is provided and the kitchen is open until 9:30pm for you to prepare your meals. I will say, it does appear that booking through Airbnb was a bit pricier, so I would recommend reaching out to the hostel directly if possible and booking through them instead. Overall, very good experience.

Charming room at the Salida Inn. We were able to easily walk downtown. There’s also a river trail that leads you by a fishing pond. The kitchen was easy to use and store leftovers.

Great place for sleeping, showering and spending the whole day exploring. Room had a private bathroom. Everything worked well. Adobe building with not so many windows, but super fresh. Staff is thorough.

Salida is a very interesting town with a variety of activities. I'd like to visit again. The room was small but very comfortable and clean. The porch was an inviting place to relax. The public spaces were well equipped, so if you have no issue with sharing the kitchen and living area, recommend this establishment.

The Salida Hostel exceeded my expectations from off street parking to the beautifully restored, modern amenities imside this historic building. Very walkable to the historic downtown district. During the evening I did not hear a sound from the other guests. I slept well in the Red Mountain room with the window open and a box fan. I will definitely rebook when I return to Salida for more hiking.

Great stay. well ventilated rooms with apt level of privacy; spotless bathrooms. Really fun vibe thanks to the bar area.

I had a really great experience getting checked in with Nate! I got two pillows and was able to bring my own beer. So interesting, the house itself! Fabulous job. I love it.

EStar no Hostel Ember foi muito bom. O lugar é extremamente bonito e bem decorado. banheiro bem limpos, embora pela manhã existisse o uso excessivo. As roupas de cama estavam limpas e o quarto compartilhado bastante arrumado.

This was a really quick one night stay but it had everything I need and a nice space to write a few songs… Flo was so accommodating and well as the night time front desk person… I had time to do laundry and also take a nap on the patio, then went inside for bed!

Opted for private bed and bath. Great space, even with conference discounts available at nearby hotels this was still my most affordable option. Lots of character inside. Will definitely return

I had many flight delays. I arrived after 2am. The gentleman who let me in was very polite and welcoming. Had great conversations with him plus he was from Jersey. His brother was the gentleman in morning who gave me great suggestions for the day before I picked up my daughter. I actually seen the nighttime gentleman at the train station he took the time to say hello. I would definitely recommend for a place to stay with a great location. Thank you.
