Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Arlington

Franck was a great host and was responsive to questions prior to and during our stay. Place was perfect for our family trip which included a total of 14. Location was perfect for getting to and from DCA and downtown. Will book again in the future

Very happy with our stay. Three adults - one son moving into grad school from cross-country - and we were all comfortable. We had a parking space, two bathrooms, and room to relax at the end of long days. Close to groceries and restaurants. This is an old but charming home, be prepared for stairs, some squeaks etc. that come with an old home in a humid place, but air conditioning, wifi, showers, laundry machines worked perfectly, home decor fun and comfortable, pretty plants abound, lovely light and views, and quiet at night. Communication from owners excellent along the way to tweak the use of their alarm system or fix a sticky door. Finally, I noted their use of recyclable goods like plastic and paper. Much appreciated!

This was a lovely, accomodating, and great home for the 9 of us that came for a place to stay to visit D.C. during Pride month! There was plenty of things to do in the house if there wasn’t anything to do outside and Kevin and his co-hosts were very communicative throughout the process. The place looked so much better than what the pictures made it out to be. My only complaint would be the the A/C sometimes didn’t feel like it was able to reach every part of the house so some places would get really hot and uncomfortable. Other than that, I would definitely book here again if I had another group trip to plan!

Rob is a super friendly guy (and Ruby is precious!)! He’s very knowledgeable about the area! He helped us with using public transportation. (We didn’t rent a car). Told us the fantastic places to visit. He gave us local restaurant recommendations, just a great host! The house is close to just about everything!! A very short bus ride, train ride, or Uber/Lyft to wherever we wanted to go in DC! The neighborhood is safe and peaceful! The house was great had everything we needed! From the close by Naval Station we could hear “Revellie” in the morning and “Retreat” in the evening when you opened the front door! Just a fantastic experience for our family!

Beautiful loft/studio style house. The door is inside an enclosed back yard which is nice and private. Easy to park directly in front of the house. Very quiet, beautiful neighborhood. 7 minutes from DC and Arlington Cemetery. Getting there and checking in was easy, no issues. Home is very clean and beautiful, exactly like the pictures. Our favorite Airbnb we’ve stayed in. I would highly recommend!

Joshua is an excellent host and had great communication before and during our stay. We had a nice trip at their space and it worked well for our group’s travel needs. The Airbnb is as pictured and was really nice!

Place was great. Backyard was nice place to relax after touring the city. Perfect location to access sites in VA and DC. Off street parking just added to the convenience. Adrianna was extremely responsive and friendly. Very nice place and stay!

Felt like home. Quiet neighborhood with walking distance grocery store. Extra amenities. Very clean and I’m a clean freak.

Absolutely loved this space. The location is great and allows for exploration of the city. The space itself was clean and spacious. My favorite piece was having access to the gym within the Fairmount hotel (if im not mistaken). Lastly, host(s) are extremely responsiveness. I had questions about the property prior to booking as i was booking extremely last minute and I received a quick response.

Anne is very thorough when checking on a guest. She wants people to feel comfortable and makes sure they understand how to operate the appliances in the home. She has a garden and doesn't mind sharing the fresh herbs and berries in them. Initially, I was bummed about the strict check-out time (out by 8:00 am), but due to a delay in the cleaning service's ability to arrive to clean the place, I was able to check out at 11:00 am. She was responsive to questions or concerns I had. Her home is immaculate! She explained the cleaning/sterilization process, so this is a great place to stay for people who suffer from allergies. The neighborhood is quiet, and you are within walking distance of a few restaurants, a grocery store, and some shops.

A quiet space with lovely garden view, just as described in the listing. The hosts were very responsive, quick to address the minor issues I had, and friendly without being intrusive. In addition to the many good points mentioned in reviews by previous guests, I especially appreciated the nightlights in the apartment and the outdoor lighting along the walkway. I hope this place is available the next time I'm in the area!

We loved staying here! Such a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood. We were able to walk to and from the zoo so easily which was perfect for us. The driving distance to go sightsee in D.C. was not bad either and the street parking was very convenient. Chris was always reachable in case we had any questions. Definitely would rebook here again!

This is a great choice for the Georgetown area. The facilities were as advertised. Past reviews were accurate. Conveniently located with close proximity to local restaurants, public transportation, and Georgetown University. Highly recommended for anyone looking for accommodation in the area.

Only let down was the weather. Elevator was repaired and made everything much easier for me being handicapped. Everything was so close. Great restaurants. Communication was excellent with Douglas. Comfy bead. Neat place.

I had a wonderful stay here. It was just as described but more spacious than I expected, very clean, and equipped with everything one might need. Amapola, Luis, and their lovely family made me feel very welcome and were extremely responsive to any questions I had. They went above and beyond as hosts. I would give them and the apartment 10 stars if I could! Highly, highly recommend!

Abs has a beautiful place and I loved being there. The neighborhood is lively and interesting. The Metro stop is about 10 minutes away. Entry into the home was easy based on clear instructions. The home is clean and has beautiful art and furnishings. I was in D.C. for a business event but I wish I could have stayed longer. The place is absolutely gorgeous, clean, and comfortable, and Abs is a wonderful and responsive host. I'm grateful for the experience.

Very charming little place! Walkable for many local bites to eat. Lots of e-bikes and e-scooters nearby to rent for a further commute. Parking was the hardest obstacle, but I think that’s expected in this area.

The space was cozy, immaculate, and totally comfortable! I travel frequently and widely throughout the U.S. and abroad. I have never stayed at a B&B where the host has been as generous! From plenty of high quality fresh towels and linens to gourmet treats and kitchen ware, everything we could have wanted was made available. The host anticipated our wants and needs with generosity and quality! We were treated from start to finish as welcomed guests. I highly recommend this B&B hosted by Penny! I will request staying here whenever I am in the area!!!!

We loved the apartment. It was perfect for our DC experience. It’s about a mile to the Metro, a Lyft/Uber was always around the corner, 10-15 minutes to the National Mall, depending on traffic, but the area is very quiet and peaceful at the same time. The park across the street is lovely. There was always plenty of parking. Alexandria and Mount Vernon are also a quick drive from the apartment. The apartment itself was comfortable and impeccable! I had one question the night we arrived and the response was immediate and helpful. We will look for this place again next time we visit DC. Thanks for helping make our vacation special.
