Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ashford

Our second stay this ski season, and again, it did not disappoint. A comfortable home with nice touches for a ski weekend.

William has truly provided a little piece of paradise with this place. It was everything we needed and more. From the moment we stepped in, we felt a sense of peace and comfort that made it hard to leave. Every detail was thoughtfully curated from the cozy furnishings to the serene surroundings. The space was spotless, beautifully designed, and full of charm. Whether we were relaxing indoors or enjoying the outdoor views, it felt like a true escape from the everyday. William was also a wonderful host responsive, kind, and clearly passionate about creating a welcoming experience. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already talking about when we can come back. If you're looking for a heavenly getaway, look no further.

Very comfortable stay, nice hot tub, nice outdoor seating. We would definitely come back for future trips to mount rainer. Cindy was extremely responsive with any questions we had.

The view here is gorgeous and the decor inside is beautiful. This place is probably best for 2 couples with kids. We were 10 adults so it was a bit tight. The bunk room was adorable for kids but the top bunk was not as functional for an adult. We brought a cot so 2 people could still sleep in there. The kitchen is very well appointed. We loved our time here!

We stayed as a group of two families - 4 adults and 5 kids. We were thrilled to be able to bring our dog with us. It rained almost our entire stay, so we weren’t able to do as many Outdoor activities as planned, but it meant we were able to really use all the activities provided in the bunkhouse - puzzle, board games, video games, etc. There is a market, a brewery and a coffee shop all within blocks, so it was super easy to pick up any supplies we forgot. The house is a little dark, we found ourselves wishing for a little more light. The kitchen had almost everything we needed. We did end up purchasing more paper towels and some ziplocks. The double oven was very helpful. Some larger sheet pans would have helped to be able to cook for such a large group, but we just did things in batches. Overall we highly recommend this place and hope to return someday.

This is our 7th year here and it was a charming as ever. We feel so lucky to be able to stay at this sweet cottage home, enjoy the vast lawn and trek through the woods. Thank you for letting us stay here and make memories here! This is a great place for families who like the outdoors and want to stay at a historic farmhouse. Terri and David are a treasure to us! This was our third stay at Tina’s place. Still one of our favorites. Super clean, excellent communication and so chic comfy. We love it!

What a great place to stay! We headed to the mountains for the fresh air, clean water and small-town charm and this place was perfectly situated. The apartment was super clean, very cozy and comfortable. Felt like just the right amount of space for the two of us . . . and then you walk outdoors! Great big fire pit that kept us toasty, views across the fields and into the mountains. And I think we saw elk every day! Can't wait f or ski season and a chance to stay at this perfectly situated airbnb. Thanks, Thomas!

Our family loved staying here! Bonnie was very friendly, and the surroundings are beautiful. My kids loved running around, looking at the cows, and petting the sweet dogs hanging around the barn. A couple caveats: 1) The place is a bit rustic, as I think the listing shows. It's not as squeaky-clean as one might expect to find in, for example, an upscale hotel room. But then, it's an apartment built into a barn, so no big surprise there. 2) Young children (especially busy ones like ours) may require close supervision. There were some hazards, like a few power saws in the open barn that were plugged in and easily within reach of inquisitive children. There is a drop at the top of the stairs basically all the way to the floor below with a rail high enough for a toddler to easily run under. The staircase itself is very steep, which could also be an issue for elderly or disabled guests. With those considerations in mind, this is a great place for a country getaway!

Wow. What a magical sanctuary. My husband and I booked the smaller room for a last minute getaway and were blown away. Katherine was so kind and personable and clearly very proud of the gorgeous home and lush vegetable gardens they've grown. There was something so special about petting the kitties and picking blueberries and marrionberries off the vine and right into my breakfast in the morning. The accommodations were just right for us, the sauna was exceptional, the location in Mossyrock and near Rainier was great, and the sunset view and the shooting stars at night were just something else. We would love to come back here. Thank you for a wonderful, albeit short, stay!!

My husband and I have stayed in many Airbnb’s and this one (although I’m aware it’s a brand new build) was hands down the cleanest place we’ve come across. Fredrick was very responsive and accommodating.

Everything about this place was absolutely worth the money. From before the approval the chat i had with the host was very great and extremely friendly. Questions were answered with ease. The house was in the perfect place as it is right next to town for food, it was a 30 minute drive to white pass for a great weekend of snowboarding. The set up is simple and functional and very clean. The peacefulness of the area along with the hot tub was exactly what was needed to relax after a day spent shredding on the slopes. I couldn't recommend this place and the host enough and i will hopefully be staying again in the future.

Neat, tidy, and super cute! We were in town for a wedding and this Airbnb was perfect for us. Bed was comfy. Julie and Micki were great! We needed things and they were quick to get it for us. It was super cozy! Thank you so much! And thank you for the goodies too. 😊

The definition of cozy cottage in the woods. Loved every minute! Felt like stepping back in time, played a movie on the VCR and songs on cassette. Didn’t want to leave!

The cabin is as advertised. Pleasant surroundings, simple and cozy. The views are spectacular and the hot tub was very enjoyable. We'd very much like to try it again. Everyone was very kind to speak to when communicating with the host.

Incredible, cozy space. The wood stove was a nice touch and kept it warm with a nice atmosphere. My husband and I had our 8 and 5 year olds with us and they really enjoyed the property. There were tons of activities for them and they didn’t want to leave. The property is within minutes of Mt. Rainier National Park, it’s quick and easy to get back and rest after a long day of hiking and exploring. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept like babies. Definitely would recommend to anyone!

The perfect base to explore Ashford and Mount Rainier National Park, just a few minutes from the park entrance! The hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with, and you can tell they put a lot of care into their cabin, with great interior design, comfy furniture, and little touches like ingredients for s’mores! The home is nestled in a neighborhood but situated in a way that you feel like you’re in the woods while enjoying the outdoor fire pit. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area!

We absolutely loved our stay at Nisqually Nest! We had everything we needed and then some! We especially loved the sauna and hot tub after hiking Mt Rainier. Kent and Kari were such friendly and responsive hosts and even arranged some hot tub entertainment for us with a mama robin feeding her babies. Above and beyond ... haha! We are already planning a trip back and hope to get to stay here again.

From start to finish, the experience of communicating with the host was excellent, which is so key to Airbnb rentals. The place was exactly as shown in the photos and description, kept really well. Everything worked perfectly, and the setting for this place is A+. It is super close to the Paradise entrance to Mt Rainier and in a quiet, wooded location. Lots of things to do in the backyard - corn hole, hot tub, putting golf, a fire pit and more. Lots of board games inside the house. Appliances were excellet and the washer / dryer were very useful. It is a compact place but perfect for 4 - we were 4 adults - 2 of us and our teenage + kids. Highly recommend.
