Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ashtabula County

Wendy's Lakehouse was exactly what my husband and I needed for our mini-retreat after our daughter's wedding. We were mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausted when we arrived; but after a couple of days of complete quiet and privacy in the house, walking and laying on the private beach, listening to the water, watching the sunsets, and basking in the fresh Lake Erie breezes: we felt restored and refreshed. The only thing that disappointed us was that we couldn't stay longer... life rolls on! 😅 Within hours of our arrival we were making plans to return- next time with our 4 sons- as soon as possible! We even were dreaming about bringing future grandkids in years to come! 🥰 Thank you, Wendy, for providing this peaceful retreat!

The house was exactly as described, in a quiet location, within walking distance to Lake Erie and a few restaurants (check out Sparky's Place for dinner). We appreciated the little touches; labels on the cabinets, board games, small snacks on the table. The house felt like home. We would absolutely stay again if in the area!

Amazing spot if you are taking in D-Day Ohio events. Quiet, comfortable, and clean. Will definitely try to use again next year!

We came to Jason in the time of need and he took us in. Hosts were very helpfull, even though we changed planes, or rather plans were changed fo us. I can surely recommend this host, and the place needs no recommendation. It is beautiful, and everything one needs was there. Thank you!

LOVED this house! Someone with a degree in interior design must’ve been involved in the decorating bc it looked like something out of a magazine. And the view was absolutely stunning. Also, as a mom with small children, I loved how we were right on the water but high enough up from it that I didn’t have to worry about my kids walking into it while playing outside. I also loved the location of this house. We were right in between Ashtabula and Geneva on the Lake so it was a little more peaceful than being right in the middle of GOTL. My family preferred Ashtabula anyways as it had more of that quaint old town charm. The house also had great storage which may sound funny, but I love to unpack and really settle into the home. It seems like so many places don’t provide that anymore. Anyways, I would totally stay here again!

The house is a great place to stay. Walking distance to Ashtabula Harbor and it has an expansive view of the lake from the back yard. It was clean and comfortable for us and she provided a bed for our pup.

GREAT PLACE! Elijah was wonderful - answered my questions immediately. This house was terrific - had everything one needed.( I especially liked that he had plenty of Kleenex boxes. ). 😊. Most places we’ve stayed at had NONE! We will always return to this home when visiting Conneaut. It was perfect.

Great house, super spacious and clean, close to everything, can walk to restaurants and activities and the water. Great for people watching. My family had a blast staying here for Memorial Weekend. When the tv went out, Donald replaced it immediately. We would stay here again. Be sure to get donuts from Madsen’s Donut shop- so good.

was everything described. very clean and in walking distance to a lot of places. was stocked very well. loved the firepits...just curious what all the thousands of bugs are this time of year there. they were everywhere...nasty lil things!! would definately stay here again. thank you for hosting us.

Cozy yet spacious spot, welcoming & quiet.

This place is actually so much better than even the photos show. It is beautiful and I was traveling with three girls that have cleaned houses for a living, and we were all impressed on how clean it was! I never walk barefoot in a hotel or Airbnb, but I did in this one. It's gorgeous. It felt like we were right on the ocean. We watched the sun set on the back patio and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Definitely will be back, but will stay longer next time!

You will not regret staying here! Diana’s place was amazing and so charming and clean. Great location close to wineries in the area. Beautiful property. We felt very comfortable and at home here. Very friendly hosts!

Ken was proactive and clear with his instructions on how to get in. Nice place to stay near where we needed to go. Near a main route so occasionally traffic noise could be heard but it didn’t bother us. Had everything we needed for our stay!

We enjoyed our stay in Geneva! The unit was beautiful, exactly as pictured, and very clean. It had everything we needed and more including kitchen appliances, snacks, coffee, water, games, towels, an iron, and even coloring books for our 2-year-old. Communication was great, and they even sent driving directions, though Apple Maps worked fine. The only downside was that the house number wasn’t visible from the road—some signage would help. Also, there is another unit downstairs (separate entrances) and we could hear the downstairs guests at night, it wasn't loud or a disturbance but sound was audible. The host also greeted us on arrival. Otherwise, the location was perfect for us as it was just 5 minutes from Spire. Great overall stay!

It was luck that we found this unit. The view was amazing! It was 2 adults, so it worked out wonderfully.

Everything was great. The location was gorgeous. We had an incident where we were locked out and Michelle was very responsive. Our kids loved the cabin, and we made some wonderful memories. Would highly recommend the Cozy Cabin!

this was our second stay here and certainly not our last. Jessica is an awesome host with a magical cabin. This area is so peaceful and private. The cabin has everything you need to make it a home for your stay. The lake is amazing and we caught so many fish !! You will not regret this cozy cabin ❤️

Such a great getaway. The cabin was super cute and amenities that went above and beyond- there was clearly a lot of thought and care put into the cabin. About a 10 minute drive from a cute town and a Lake Erie beach. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

My girlfriends and I came for a mini weekend getaway to celebrate the bride to be! We didn’t spend too much time in the actual airbnb since we had plans every day so I would love to come back and actually enjoy all the amenities!

Tony's cottage was exactly what I needed - a place to sleep and prepare my own breakfast. No trains under the window every 15 minutes or a bar next door going on till 2 in the morning. Will be back for sure if it is available when I need it.

This was an awesome cabin to stay at. My friends and I had a great time. It was so cozy, clean and fit all of us perfectly.

Truly the best hosts I’ve ever had, Linda is so sweet and caring and makes sure you feel right at home. I can’t recommend this beautiful getaway enough, if you want warm, cozy and peaceful, book yourself a trip here! She was so responsive and even made sure to check in on us and make sure we were happy with everything, and we sure were! I can’t wait to visit again ❤️
