I had the chance to stay here at the last minute and was so impressed by the space. It was absolutely gorgeous and well designed. Also, incredibly spacious and being dog friendly sent it over the top. It was super close to the quiet, relaxing beach. The neighbor was super friendly and even let me borrow his dog tether. There’s a grocery store a 6 minute drive away. Such a great stay. Thank you, Michael!

This is our second time coming to this ocean cottage so we knew what to expect. We felt right at home in the cozy little cottage and had the amenities we needed. Kathleen was very responsive and easy to deal with. We look forward to coming another time!

All of us --three generations--had a wonderfully amazing time at Christine's Pelican Haus! The location--a short walk to a magnificent beach and park and a three minute car ride to some great restaurants (a little longer ride to Wanda's was so worth it!)--truly made our mini vacation SO enjoyable and memorable. At the home, the outdoor hot tub and play equipment, and the indoor movies, music, and games provided fun for all ages. The kitchen was well-stocked, the dogs needs were attended to, and there was lots of room for each of us to enjoy our private time also. In other words, because the ambience was so wonderful, we had such a special, lovely, just simply A+ vacation. We hope that one day we might be back. Christine, your flexibility made this work. Thank you for your generous and kind hospitality.

Very clean, close to the ocean and Astoria/Cannon Beach.

We loved staying and would go back. Very peaceful and easy walk to the beach. Loved the deck and fire pit. Everything was clean and comfortable.

The location of the property is amazing. The views were stunning. It was also very private, the beach was not crowded (very few people). So you basically have the beach to yourself and you are only a 5-7 minute drive from Cannon Beach. The property itself is very nice and well kept. It has absolutely everything you need. It has a ton of sleeping room and sufficient bathrooms. It feels like a luxury cottage. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

5 Stars – A Perfect Home Away from Home! We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful beach house in Rockaway Beach! From the moment we walked in, it truly felt like a home away from home—cozy, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The decor was charming, the beds were super comfortable, and the views were absolutely stunning. We loved being just a short walk from the beach, and the quiet neighborhood made it easy to unwind. The pet friendly policy was amazing as we never travel without our dogs! Whether we were sipping coffee on the deck or enjoying a peaceful evening by the fireplace, every moment was perfect. We can’t wait to come back!

Our magical vintage trailer getaway was pure cozy bliss! Tucked away in a charming little spot, the rain only made the weekend feel more enchanting. With our pups snuggled beside us, we spent the days playing board games, sipping warm drinks, and listening to the soothing patter of raindrops on the roof. The trailer’s retro charm added to the whimsy, making it feel like we had stepped into a dreamy little hideaway. It was the perfect mix of nostalgia, relaxation, and fun—proof that sometimes, the best adventures happen indoors.

We had an amazing weekend at the Nestucca Nest! This property is perched on the hillside with breathtaking views of the river, ocean and Haystack rock. Great home for traveling families and access to the clubhouse, with use of the pool and gym were definitely a plus! Beautiful design, very clean and accommodating. This property comes highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

This was a wonderful place to stay. Very clean and well kept. We had a great time playing games and watching movies. The beds were very comfortable and the overall environment was very relaxing. We would love to come back and visit again! Thank you for the great experience!

Great condo, quiet and the indoor heated pool was nice for our daughter. The fresh foods market was very convenient and was nicely stocked with a good selection of food during our stay.

Absolutely gorgeous view! I watched the sun set from an over-sized chair in the living room while shoving pizza into my face. The 21st century offers little finer. The next morning my dog and I hit the beach at low tide and found all of the biggest sand dollars I’ve ever found. A great time at a beautiful location!

Loved Unit 312. The favorite furniture was the two rocking recliners facing the views!! They were so comfortable. We also stayed in 314 and loved the outdoor furniture.

Started out shaky due to cleaning service, not Austin. The unit cleaning was incomplete, no bed linens etc dirty linens piled in front of W/D closet after long day of travel arriving in the dark of night. Austin quickly responded and offered emergency clean the next morning, refunded cleaning fee and partial refund of rental. After check out the cleaning service did come to the rescue securing a watch left behind-so all in all great response. Unit is dated but sort of family beach vintage. It’s comfortable with easy beach access. We had a great stay and enjoyed evening wine on top floor with partial water view.

Lynne and Lucy were great hosts! My kids and I felt right at home here. This is a perfect place to getaway, relax, and stay for a few days. Also, the bed was extremely comfortable!

I loved the Octopus Lair! There was so much to do inside. It was clean and cozy. Walkable to the beach and a short drive to the beach if you’d prefer to drive on. It was also a short drive to down town Long Beach as well where all the shops and activities are. Such a lovely, fun place with a great location.

This was our second time staying as a family. It was great. We didn’t realize last time that they had blankets and toys for kids to take to the beach out on the front patio. That was super cool! We also took advantage of BBQ.

Can’t beat waking up to the sound of the river in the backyard. Green, quiet, beautiful. Unique place that has all you need. Beautiful break we needed from “real life”.

Colette was great, checked in with us to make sure that we had what we needed, and was very responsive. The place was very clean, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a big selling point for me. My only complaints are the stairs leading to the loft, furniture wasn't as comfortable as I would like, and I don't like ROKU, but that's just me being picky. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Wren’s Nest. The beach front location was peaceful and quiet and we were able to walk to restaurants and shops. The house was clean and welcoming and we very much appreciated the ability to bring our dog. He loved the beach access and met many friends. Thanks again! We were sad to leave.

It was a nice clean place to stay! Bathroom was a bit tight, but other than that a great studio sized place.

This place did not disappoint and was most definitely a steal! If you forget your reading material, don't you fret. Not only are there games to keep you entertained but Shawn, a lesser known writer, has provided you with a great light read. I would not pass on reviewing the property handbook, you would be missing out. If you have a question, I can just about guarantee the answer is in the book. *Oregon doesn't trust you and make sure the doors are closed, if you know, you know* Plenty of deer friends and a wonderfully relaxing space. Quiet and cozy bringing the outdoors in with the double sliding doors on either side of the home. Any chance you remember the make and model of those doors? Great for sitting on the porch and practicing for the retired life, the forest was vibrant with greens and lush foliage creating a little cocoon away from home that I am sure is equally beautiful during the other seasons, the soothing lull of the water just outside for the perfect get away.
