The chalet is centrally located to the east in Austbygede which is an eldorado for hikes in summer and winter. There is a short way to Skirvedalen, where there are miles of great ski slopes waiting for you during the winter. In the summer there is a great beach resort in the river close by. There is also a short way to Sandviken camping at Tinnsjøen which has a wide range of leisure activities. It is 30 km to Rjukan, which is listed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Here you can, among other things, visit Vemork, the Sun Mirror, take the Krossobane etc.

Here, you will find everything you need for a relaxing stay, suitable for both families with children and adults who want memorable holidays. Everything is arranged for active days in beautiful nature, with mountain tours, art trails, swimming areas, fishing opportunities, rivers, ski slopes, ski centers and marked hiking trails in forests and mountains.

Tinnsjøhytta

Enjoy quiet holidays with the whole family right by Tinnsjøen at this peaceful cabin all the way down the water's edge. Two cabins are tied together with a deck. One cabin has a dining table, sofa bed and simple kitchen. The second cabin is the bedroom with 4 beds. Water must be collected at the sanitary facility at Sjøtveit Camping, where there is also a free shower. In addition, there is a completely newly renovated bathroom (shared with another cabin) with a biological toilet in the neighboring cabin. No running water. Simple standard.

Homely little house in Vrådal

Experience charming Lysli, a cozy house perfectly located along highway 38 in beautiful Vrådal. Here you have hiking trails and ski slopes literally right outside the door and a short way to the area's many attractions. 1 km to Vrådal city center with grocery, cafe, gallery and rental of rowboat, kayak and canoe. 3 km to Vrådal Panorama ski center and 5 km to Vrådal golf course. The house is also perfectly located between east and west for you passing through, but we recommend staying a few days to enjoy the area.

This valley is located along a south-eastern ridge of the Hardanger plateu and great mountain experiences are waiting just outside the cabin door.

Cozy cabin at Gøynes by Tinnsjøen

The cabin is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Nice view to Tinnsjøen and Austbygda. There is no running water in the cabin, but there is electric power and wood firing. Firewood is included in the price. Water is collected from the host.
