The stay at Luis's house has been amazing. The house is beautiful, really well decorated, and has different spaces to feel comfortable, like home. The kitchen has everything you need in case you cook anything (cutlery, fairy, pans, coffee machine, microwave...etc) When we did the check-in, they give us a box with juice, milk, and cheese from the Azores. Also, they bring you every morning fresh bread and there is butter and coffee available too. Our room (with a private bathroom)was perfectly decorated and clean. The bathroom was fully equipped with a hairdryer, towels shampoo & shower gel. The garden is beautifully decorated with flowers and plants, with plenty of space, a couple of tables, and a jacuzzi. Luis & Paula are friendly people, they also show us how to feed cows and explain to us a lot about the island. We really have fun and feel at home during our stay in Luis's house.

A Truly Charming Stay with Thoughtful Touches! Our group of four recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Green Sunrise House. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the prompt response and genuine care of the host, who even provided some lovely welcome gifts. The clear instructions for everything made settling in a breeze. The property itself is incredibly inviting. The decor, location are fantastic, making it feel like a cozy home. We particularly loved the well-stocked kitchen, which had everything we needed, and the ample supply of linen and towels was greatly appreciated. The music collection were a delightful bonus, providing entertainment and a relaxing atmosphere. We also thoroughly enjoyed spending evenings by both the indoor and outdoor fireplaces, which added so much to the experience. Only con was the one bathroom for four people did not have a lock inside and the hot tub (primary reason for booking thi place) took hours to prepare and couldnt use it properly!

I had an incredible 3 night stay at this property, the pictures do not show it off enough. The views are impecable, with a lot of nature around and the most comfortable grass..! I hope you visit again, thank you

Wer die Insel erkunden will und sich wirklich wohlfühlen möchte, der ist bei Tania und Paul im süßen Cottage genau richtig aufgehoben! Es ist total gemütlich und toll ausgestattet. Der Blick geht über die Hügel und Landschaft der Insel raus aufs Meer (auch von hauseigenen Whirlpool) in der Gegend sind Supermärkte, kleine Frühstücksmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Man ist schnell zur Tee Plantage oder zu den thermal Pools gefahren. Ich kann diesen tollen Ort nur jedem Reisenden ans Herz legen.

Wir waren 10 Tage bei Ruben zu Besuch. Wir hätten uns keine bessere Unterkunft für unseren Aufenthalt vorstellen können. Leider hatten wir etwas Pech mit dem Wetter - umso schöner waren die Annehmlichkeiten von Pool und Sauna zu genießen. Die Wohnung war makellos sauber und alles Top hergerichtet. Ruben hat uns sogar ein Willkommens- Korb mit allen nötigen Dingen ( Käse , Brot , Früchte etc) aus der Region bereit gestellt :) Wenn wir mal wieder auf die Azoren kommen sollten, dann definitiv wieder dort hin. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt und hoffentlich bis bald Leo und Max

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans cette maison pleine de charme. José a été très présent et attentif, ce qui a grandement facilité notre arrivée et notre installation. La maison est exactement conforme au descriptif et aux photos : un véritable cocon, chaleureux et confortable, où l’on se sent immédiatement chez soi. Nichée au bord du lac, elle offre un cadre idyllique avec une vue à couper le souffle – les levers et couchers de soleil y sont tout simplement extraordinaires. C’est un lieu idéal pour les amoureux de l’authentique et de la simplicité, avec une atmosphère paisible et sincère, loin des artifices. Seul petit bémol : la route en contrebas, pavée et très passante, mais cela n’enlève rien à la beauté du site, qui fait partie des paysages les plus remarquables de l’île. Un grand merci encore à José pour son accueil !

Tolle Unterkunft, Maria ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!! Als das Internet mal nicht funktionierte, kam sie sogar um 10h nachts! Für diese Unterkunft braucht man ein Auto, wie überall auf den Azoren Guter Ausgangspunkt um die Insel kennen zu lernen oder wenn man einfach mal abspannen möchte.

L'île de Pico est une escale agréable. La maison de Paula est conforme au descriptif, la terrasse aménagée avec vue sur la mer est un pur bonheur. Idéal pour les amoureux de la nature qui veulent rester au calme

Excellent emplacement à proximité de beaucoup de hikings. Maria est très accommodante. Je n’avais pas vu qu’il n’y avait pas de douche, mais il y a un bain. Endroit propre où on est bien. Cuisine bien équipée.

Adorable home located in a quaint village where the locals are friendly. The little coffee shop is walkable and well priced. Amazing coffee ( anywhere on the island actually). The drive to everywhere is less than 1/2 hr. Close to town or beaches or hikes. Nadja was so helpful with recommendations and we found some we liked as well. Highly recommend Monk Coffee and Surf was so amazing for breakfast smoothies and delicious gourmet toasts or bowls. Nadja was responsive and flexible with check in and out times as she was able. Definitely would recommend.

Ocean views for days...this place has a god-smacking view of the north coast and Sao Jorge. We were 2 couples and this place was perfect. A welcome basket has the essentials to get you through the first 24 hours. There are 2 large, comfortable bedrooms downstairs with walkouts to a patio. Their full 3 piece bathroom is on the main floor. The third, separate bedroom has its own full ensuite bath. The kitchen is well equipped and functional. There are 2 patios facing the fields and sea with an outdoor kitchen area. Pike, Francisco and Vania are always only a text away and are so helpful and very accommodating.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is comfortable, well-equipped and situated in a beautiful, quiet area of Santa Luzia. Pedro was very welcoming and provided helpful suggestions for things to explore on Pico.

Our stay here was nothing short of incredible. The location is unbeatable—waking up to the sound of the ocean and having panoramic views of the Atlantic from the property was a dream come true. The home was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was welcoming and responsive. We loved the outdoor space where we enjoyed coffee in the mornings and some drinks at sunset. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat tucked away in paradise. Being so close to nature made this the perfect base for exploring the beauty of São Miguel. We can’t recommend this place enough!

We had a fantastic time at Casa Mediana. It is so quiet and peaceful, though located centrally so gives good access to the rest of São Miguel. Though rural and a long way from any neighbours, it is only a 10 minute drive into the town of Ribeira Grande, which has beaches, supermercado, restaurants etc. The house is spacious, comfortable, well equipped and has a nice terrace for relaxing and watching the view. Also, we have to mention the animals! Dogs, cats, donkeys, chickens and more! All very friendly and welcoming and really enhancing the experience. Luis is a great host, friendly and helpful. Recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, off-the-beaten-track experience.

First of all, we did not stay in exactly this apartment. It is a complex with three apartments and we were informed about a week before, that they renovate the booked one. But to be honest, since we have been alone in the whole complex and could test the views of all three terraces of the apartments, our alternative accommodation had a nicer view to the ocean and Sao Jorge, than the originally booked apartment. So if it is the view you are going for, then look at Google Maps for highland homes in Pico - you can see all the apartments (the greatest one has a stunnig view). The trees were trimmed, so you can see the ocean in every room. A highlight is the lavastone, but you need to pack slippers for inside, the floor is very cold. Another highlight is the garden, it is like a botanic garden, with a lot of plants we have never seen before and absolutely beautiful. There is also an easy but nice hiking trail at the end of the road and since it is a dead end, there is no traffic too.

We had a very nice stay at Areias Houses! Beautiful garden, house and surroundings. We loved sitting on the tram and listen to the birds. A lot of things to see in Furnas just outside the property. Great location. Alexandra was a great host, very helpful. We really recommend staying here, if you are going to Furnas!

The accommodation was the best equipped we have ever had through Airbnb. So many kitchen utensils, plates, cutlery, glasses, pots, pans. A large kitchen with a new stove and oven and fridge. Great for cooking. All the rooms are beautifully furnished. The terraces are beautiful for lying or eating on. The location right by the sea is wonderful. It is only a few minutes to the sunset hot spots. The insider tip Tunel Hydraulico is only 7 minutes by car. The accommodation La Maisonette is definitely recommended!

Susannah’s place is at the edge of a little village, and if feels like a different world: peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful view over the ocean. The cottage looks ordinary from the outside, but inside is wow: new and very tastefully decorated - beautiful. We drove to all the places we wanted to see on Terceira, and enjoyed a local hike too. It was really handy to have a washer and dryer in the middle of our holiday. We loved staying here!

João was super responsive continually checking in during our stay to make sure everything was ok. Peaceful location at the end of the street, private gated yard (great for kids). Had space heaters and extra blankets available for the cold nights. There is a washer and dryer (not common in Portugal to have both!) The living room area smelled like smoke probably from the people before us using the fireplace. Would definitely stay again.

The villa is absolutely perfect! A traditional home with a full and well stocked kitchen and amazing backyard. Plenty of restaurants/cafes in walking distance. We personally loved Queijadas do Morgado the most! There is also easy access to the highway to get around the island quickly. Duarte was very friendly and quick to respond and an excellent host. Highly recommend spending your time in the Azores here!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in Fernandos Haus. Nur wenige Meter von der Unterkunft entfernt gibt es einen wunderschönen Strand und bei Regen sogar einen Wasserfall. Das Häuschen aus Vulkangestein hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Feuerstelle im Garten war ein Traum. Wir hatten viele schöne Abende am Feuer mit Blick aufs Meer. Absolute Empfehlung für alle, die es ruhig und abgeschieden mögen.
