Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Azores

Excellent hospitality from Fatima. And his fig jam is a delight!!! She gave us a lot of tips for our daily lives and tours/ activities. The house is in excellent condition with all the comforts you need. We had a nice stay in Pico and we recommend Fatima's place on this island. Valerie and her 3 kids.

Beautifully located house with nice sea view. House is very well maintained and clean. Cesar and Therese are very good hosts. Everything was present in the house and that is sometimes different for some accommodations. You had to drive a little further for groceries, but we found that no problem.

Paulo was an amazing host. The property is beautiful and clearly handled with love and care. The views are stunning. From one side there is an ocean view and the other, a countryside view. Everything was clean and we had ample supplies. The hot tub was a nice bonus! Parking was across the street and very easy. Paulo is super responsive. I got sick and couldn’t find a pharmacy open as it was Sunday. He was at our door within 20 mins with a few options of medicine. I took it and was feeling better within 30 mins. The island was beautiful and if we return, we will definitely be staying with Paulo!

We had a wonderful stay at Rui's! The house is located in a peaceful, quiet village, where nothing can be heard except chirping birds and cackling chickens. The balcony is perfect for enjoying the sea view. The house is very spacious, very large kitchen, large bedroom, living room, beautiful bathroom - everything very nice and extremely clean. The location is perfect for exploring the entire eastern part of the island. Rui also gave us some tips for excursions and shopping, and was always available to us. We couldn't have imagined a better place to stay. Thank you!!

We loved staying at this cottage. The view is great (when not cloudy) and we were grateful for the local treats provided! There are some beautiful miradouros near there and it was helpful to judge visibility from the cottage view for when to go. The directions were precise and the communication was excellent. I would definitely recommend this cottage, especially if you don't mind walking up a steep incline.

A fantastic lodging option away from the hustle and bustle of Punta Delgada. Nicely decorated. Lots of space to spread out. Great patio for relaxing and breakfast. A delicious breakfast brought over in a basket with fresh baked rolls, cheese, jam and fruit each morning. Such a nice touch and Ligia, the housekeeper, so sweet! Highly recommended, especially if you enjoy some quiet and solitude after your busy day.

What a wonderful place - definitely one of the nicest Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed at! This is truly a Villa with a beautifully restored 1886 Azorian stone house sitting on over an acre of green space overlooking the ocean! Beautifully furnished house and full kitchen - more than enough space for a family. The hosts were very nice and had excellent communication. Highly recommend this place! Note that there are no restaurants, cafes or shops in this small town - it is a small quiet community, which is why we chose it. Cooked in several nights, otherwise it’s a quick 8-15 min drive to a wide selection of restaurants.

Absolutely lovely stay with a very responsive and helpful host. Highly recommend Helia’s place! We loved the provided provisions and she let us check in early and check out late. The place was clean and updated. The road in is a little narrow and difficult to navigate but directions were clear.

Beautiful property, exactly as it looks. We shared the backyard with other guests, but enjoyed the shared experience. Quiet and peaceful place, just note the dogs next door may be barking, but it's fairly quiet with the windows shut. Would recommend the stay!

Ana Isabel and Reinaldo's spacious apartment in a lovely farm setting is peaceful, relaxing and beautiful. We enjoyed the views of Pico volcano, the ocean, and the sheep, horse, cows, chickens and adorable potbelly pigs in the yard. The friendly dogs made us feel right at home. The apartment with spacious balcony views was spotless and welcoming with lovely bed linens. We will be back!!

After many years of using vacation apartments, this vacation apartment has made a particularly positive impression. The owners have gone to great lengths to let the love of detail unfold. We felt very well taken care of here and have to say that it was really one of the best apartments we have ever been allowed to visit. The use of the garden was really a dream and the view gigantic. The apartment's furnishings were equally exceptional. There was everything you need for cooking. I can only recommend everyone to get an idea of the place for themselves and to book this apartment. At this point, we would like to thank the landlords once again for their extraordinarily generous hospitality.

Karen was one of the best hosts of our entire Airbnb experience. The accommodation was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The street is a little narrow if you're not used to driving in the Azores, but you'll find parking directly in front of the door. The location is central on the island. I highly recommend it.

Isa was really welcoming. Everything perfect. House in stone new and with amenities. Clean, comfy, a very good place to stay, with a barbecue area perfect for dining out. Thanks Isa for everything, and for all the advices.

Monica’s place was amazing! Being in ponta garça is perfect because you’re in a perfect location to get to multiple sight seeing cities in a short time! There’s two beaches straight up the road including the marina where you can dock the boats to visit the ilheu and other fun water activities. Very clean, provided lots of fresh towels and linens! The washing machine and the clothes line in the back to dry the clothes was so convenient. If you want a good loacation this is the place to go!

the cabins offered by Norbert are in fact very functional small chalets in a lush garden. The location is ideal for visiting the region, especially for going to dinner at Mosteiros. Too bad the weather was capricious.

Staying at Banana Eco Camp was great. The last time I got to sleep in a cabin was probably way back at summer camp during elementary school, but I've never stayed in a cabin this fancy – it had a comfy bed and electricity. There was a kitchen with a dining area, a toilet, and a shower available, and we never had any issues with hot water. A great bonus was the café right there at the camp, where we could grab breakfast with a delicious local coffee. It was a really cool experience for us, and we'd love to come back again. Communication with the camp owner was excellent – he explained everything to us and happily answered all our questions. I'd definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Great host and great stay, close to the town of mosteiros. Host was very helpful in regard to setting up mobile WiFi. Very responsive and overall good stay.

Very good stay! Atypical, we finally opted for the 4-person cottage because the bathroom and toilet are inside, the space is more comfortable! Breakfasts facing the sea are a must! Marcel, Bernardo and Elysabetha are very attentive ;) Small plus, the unlimited bananas are greatly appreciated ^^ Small minus, no swimming beach nearby... but natural pools nearby... I highly recommend the experience.

Wonderful space, wonderfully located. Marcel was incredibly kind and the coffee shop was a fantastic way to start each day. Was great to meet some fellow travelers throughout our weeks stay as well.

Banana Camp is tucked away just outside of town, right in the middle of a banana plantation – such a peaceful little retreat. We stayed in one of the cosy cabins, with four of us sharing for two nights. Marcel was brilliant – he gave us tips on exploring the island and even picked fresh bananas for us! We also learnt loads about how they farm bananas and other produce on the camp, which was really interesting. The cabin had everything we needed: super comfy mattresses, a small kitchenette, shower and toilet. There’s also a shared outdoor kitchen with the essentials if you fancy cooking. We loved the hammock area for relaxing, and the ducks wandering about added to the charm. Breakfast at the café was absolutely delicious – a lovely way to start the day. All in all, a great stay.

This was by far the best air bnb I have ever stayed in. Words cannot describe how beautiful the view was. The hosts were friendly and helpful and very welcoming. The hosts gifted a bottle of champagne we enjoyed in the jacuzzi overlooking the water. Truly a magical place and I hope to be back!!

A true gem. The casita, perched atop a small mountain, offers 360-degree views, including a stunning ocean vista. Immersed in nature and fresh air, the peace is profound. Well-maintained walking trails wind through the property with frog ponds and bird-filled trees. The casita was spotless, thoughtfully appointed, and the bed was comfy with soft, quality linens. Every detail made it feel like a home away from home. One of the true joys was spending time with the donkeys each morning and evening—gentle, sweet companions that added to the charm. The hosts are simply wonderful. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, they made me feel like family. Their care and hospitality elevated my stay beyond just a getaway—it was an experience of connection, relaxation, and renewal. If you are looking for beauty, tranquility, and heartfelt hospitality, this is the perfect retreat. I am looking forward to my return!
