Conveniently located within walking distance to Santa Barbara beach, this 3 bedroom 2 bathroom rustic modern home brings the beauty of Sao Miguel's earth, sea and sky inside, featuring a tall volcanic rock fireplace, local wood beam ceilings, open concept kitchen with farmhouse sink and stainless steel appliances. Perfect for a large family or two families as sleeps 8-10 people comfortably. Reverse air conditioner through out the house.

It is often possible to see by naked eye, groups of dolphins pass the sea of the Amora bay, a nearby beach where you can walk from home and enjoy!

House with Suspended Living Room

Our Retreat is a rural nineteenth-century house, restored with the desire to conserve the time of construction characteristics. Not only did we keep the main structure of the house, but also the fire oven and the respective chimney, the mill of wine production and the basalt stone floor . And, to finalize we added a suspended living room - literally a glass cube.
