City of Wehlen Markthaus - Vacation rental - Apartment

The Markthaus is a historic gem and is a listed building, designated as the first hostel in Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the castle ruin on the romantic Malerweg. The vaulted cellar and foundation walls date back to 1527. The main house was built in 1734 and operated as a rest stop, post office and inn. In 1850, a massive extension was built in the classicist style. Röhringer ran the Hotel Sächsische Schweiz here.

Beautiful new apartment in the countryside. Large private terrace with seating and barbecue facilities. The accommodation is next to a riding courtyard, in the neighboring village there is a large outdoor swimming pool and in 20 minutes you are in Saxon Switzerland or in beautiful Dresden. Close to shops, restaurants and doctors.
