Studio apartment at the foot of Wartburg

Entire, independent studio, 52 square meters, with well-equipped, integrated kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The location is ideal if you want to explore Eisenach, the Wartburg or the hiking opportunities on foot. (Bachhaus Museum, market and Luther House 10-15 min., Wartburg: about 35 minutes (forest path), train station: about 15 minutes Hiking: The forest begins right behind the house and many hiking opportunities are in close proximity. I am happy to provide tips and information. The windows of the studio face the courtyard, which is partly green and serves (largely) as a parking lot. Various restaurants and cafes are on the way to the nearby city center (about 6-10 minutes' walk). The surrounding southern quarter is the preferred residential area of Eisenach and is worth seeing for its many Art Nouveau villas alone. In winter, the historic Christmas market on the Wartburg is a special experience (on all weekends in Advent). If the nearby Prinzenteich (2 min.) is frozen, it is visited by young and old for ice skating! The studio (non-smoking), which consists of a large room with integrated kitchen, offers space for 2 people (1.40 m x 2.00 m) on a comfortable sofa bed. Since inquiries keep coming, there is now the possibility of a 3rd sleeping place on a guest mattress. Coffee and various types of tea are freely available. Linens, towels and hair dryers are provided. Also of course: rinsing utensils/dish towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo/shower bath. Guests arriving by car have a private parking space right in front of the entrance. Notice: actually the studio is not available on Wednesdays, (arrival Wednesday-evening is sometimes possible). Exception: school holidays. Note: With the exception of Thuringian school holidays and public holidays, the studio will not be available on Wednesdays from 4 PM to 6 PM. If your stay includes a Wednesday, you will receive a delicious breakfast as a small compensation. Just let me know your preferred day before arrival.

Herzlich Willkommen in unserem 130 Jahre alten Fachwerkhaus am Fuße der Wartburg! Einst als Schmiede genutzt, bietet es heute eine familienfreundliche Ferienwohnung mit umfassender Ausstattung. Sie ist zentral in Eisenach gelegen mit kurzen Wegen zum Zentrum, zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Touristenattraktionen sowie zur einzigartigen Natur im Thüringer Wald! Unser Kinderzimmer befindet sich direkt über der Ferienwohnung. Wir geben unser bestes, dennoch können entsprechende Geräusche zu hören sein.

Wer sich nach einer Auszeit sehnt und den Luxus der Einfachheit in besonderer Atmosphäre genießen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Der liebevoll gestaltete Schaustellerwagen mit Holzofen steht auf einem denkmalgeschützten Künstlerhof (Bj. 1805). In der warmen Jahreszeit lädt das Wilde Werk – ein kreativer Begegnungsort mit Küche, Atelier und viel Raum zum Verweilen – zum Genießen, Arbeiten oder Kreativsein ein. Ob Entschleunigung oder Wanderungen im nahen Geo-Naturpark – hier ist beides möglich.

Wir sind nicht nur ein besonders Erlebnis zum Übernachten, sondern etwas besonderes für Familien. Etwas ganz besonderes Erleben. Natur, Entspannung, Nachhaltigkeit und Spaß. Schlafen in einer Jurte. Unsere Jurte ist 28 qm groß und befindet sich auf einer Insel mitten in Thüringen. In einem parkähnlichem Garten mit rauschen der Unstrut. Ca. 10 Meter von der Jurte entfernt, befindet sich der Wirtschaftsteil. Modernes Bad (WC, Dusche und Waschbecken), modere Küche mit Esstisch. Es fehlt an nichts.

Your highlight in the city Quiet location, view into the countryside, high-quality amenities, perfect starting point for all activities. Nothing is missing. The mezzanine apartment is equipped with a king-size bed, sofa bed and crib, washing machine, dishwasher, separate bicycle storage, etc. The southern quarter includes the colonies of Predigerhöhe, Marienhöhe, Karthäuserhöhe, Mariental as well as areas at the Rhododendron Garden and the Waldschänke, the area below the Wartburg.

Holidays in the countryside

On our listed 300 year old farm we offer: two separate apartments for each 4 persons, with kitchen-living room, bathroom and bedroom with two floors each and about 50 square meters each. We are situated in the Südeichsfeld, a plush hilly low mountain landscape. Nature and surroundings invite you to hike or cycle. Draisine riding, visiting castles, climbing forest, a visit to the bear park Worbis or excursions to nearby half-timbered cities are popular excursion destinations.

In the middle of the city and yet quiet. That probably best describes our great big apartment. This can be found in the Wartburg city of Eisenach. All famous sights, such as Wartburg (Unesco World Heritage Site), Bach and Luther House, City Palace, Fraternity Monument, Dragon Gorge and the Automobile Museum are within walking distance. In just 2 minutes to the city center with numerous shops, supermarket, restaurants and cafes. Welcome Kati and Axel Rommel.

In our newly built pods, you will experience a unique sleep and relaxation experience. Let your mind wander and enjoy nature in the beautiful Fulda Valley. In the cozy cottage, there is plenty of space for breakfast or just to linger. In winter, the Kota becomes a unique experience by the open fireplace.

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

In the village, there is a nice outdoor pool and good gastronomy - around it a lot of forest. Our café serves breakfast weekdays from 6 AM and on weekends from 7 AM.
