Entire, independent studio, 52 square meters, with well-equipped, integrated kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The location is ideal if you want to explore Eisenach, the Wartburg or the hiking opportunities on foot. (Bachhaus Museum, market and Luther House 10-15 min., Wartburg: about 35 minutes (forest path), train station: about 15 minutes Hiking: The forest begins right behind the house and many hiking opportunities are in close proximity. I am happy to provide tips and information. The windows of the studio face the courtyard, which is partly green and serves (largely) as a parking lot. Various restaurants and cafes are on the way to the nearby city center (about 6-10 minutes' walk). The surrounding southern quarter is the preferred residential area of Eisenach and is worth seeing for its many Art Nouveau villas alone. In winter, the historic Christmas market on the Wartburg is a special experience (on all weekends in Advent). If the nearby Prinzenteich (2 min.) is frozen, it is visited by young and old for ice skating! The studio (non-smoking), which consists of a large room with integrated kitchen, offers space for 2 people (1.40 m x 2.00 m) on a comfortable sofa bed. Since inquiries keep coming, there is now the possibility of a 3rd sleeping place on a guest mattress. Coffee and various types of tea are freely available. Linens, towels and hair dryers are provided. Also of course: rinsing utensils/dish towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo/shower bath. Guests arriving by car have a private parking space right in front of the entrance. Notice: actually the studio is not available on Wednesdays, (arrival Wednesday-evening is sometimes possible). Exception: school holidays. Note: With the exception of Thuringian school holidays and public holidays, the studio will not be available on Wednesdays from 4 PM to 6 PM. If your stay includes a Wednesday, you will receive a delicious breakfast as a small compensation. Just let me know your preferred day before arrival.

Vacation home “Gina” on the edge of the forest

The idyllically located vacation home with a size of about 50 m² has a living room with open kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with space for 4 people and a dining area. The cottage is located in the climatic health resort of Finsterbergen directly on the edge of the forest in a small bungalow settlement. Because of its location it provides an ideal starting point for hikes (Rennsteig). The leisure pool with mini golf and volleyball and a tennis court are about 200 m away.

Vacation in the Knüll Nature Park for up to 30 guests

The vacation farm is rented as a group accommodation exclusively for a group of guests who belong together. For arrivals of more than 16 people, each additional guest costs €25 per night. (To be paid on site upon arrival) Family meetings, seminar groups, workshops, groups of friends and choir camps use the entire house and courtyard with outdoor seating and play barn. Small children can play safely in the fenced yard. Scooters, bicycles, etc. may be brought along.

Welcome to our 130-year-old half-timbered house at the foot of the Wartburg! Once used as a smithy, it now offers a family-friendly vacation apartment with comprehensive amenities. It is centrally located in Eisenach with short distances to the center, shopping, tourist attractions, and the unique natural surroundings of the Thuringian Forest! Our children's room is located directly above the vacation apartment. We do our best, but you may still hear some noise.

In the middle of the city and yet quiet. That probably best describes our great big apartment. This can be found in the Wartburg city of Eisenach. All famous sights, such as Wartburg (Unesco World Heritage Site), Bach and Luther House, City Palace, Fraternity Monument, Dragon Gorge and the Automobile Museum are within walking distance. In just 2 minutes to the city center with numerous shops, supermarket, restaurants and cafes. Welcome Kati and Axel Rommel.

Dear potential guests, Whether in transit, for a little time out or for longer - our apartment is quickly accessible and a good place to relax in the evening - e.g. on the balcony with a view. The sofa bed in the living room is very comfortable, so you can sleep well in two rooms. In the village, there is a nice outdoor pool and good gastronomy - surrounded by a lot of forest. Our café serves breakfast weekdays from 6 AM and on weekends from 7 AM.

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. I am renting out an apartment in a historic half-timbered house in Friedewald, about 12 km from the spa and festival town of Bad Hersfeld. Close to the A4, yet quiet area. In addition to the room with a double bed (which can be converted into two single beds on request), there is a small bathroom and a small kitchen. The upper story is unoccupied and is currently still under construction.
