Maria is a sweet caring woman who warmly welcomes us. She takes all the time in the tour of the apartment. When the door to the room opens, you will be treated to a great view. The apartment is clean, spacious and equipped with all comforts. Everything is in perfect order. Next to the apartment is a garden that you can use. She is so sweet to put the cushions in the chairs. If you have any questions, she is immediately available and has plenty of time for us. The apartment has a charging facility for your EV, which is practical. The only thing we missed was a broom (e.g. from Ikea Pepprig). Then you can sweep up the crumbs/hair from time to time, which is nice and tidy. Maria's argument is: you have a holiday, then you don't have to do that. That's Maria.

The apartment is within walking distance of the train station and is located in the quiet pedestrian zone of the old town. At Elli and Willi you can eat in the Bottega downstairs, also vegetarian. It is very nice. The two are warm, likeable and always available. The apartment has everything you need, plenty of storage space, bright light and a good bed.

Bernd is a really great host he explained everything to us and guided us through the facility with a lot of patience. He was already waiting for us upon arrival and then gave us the peace of mind. Thank you Bernd for that 😀

I had a wonderfully relaxing week in this lovingly furnished apartment with a very well-equipped kitchen. And there is plenty of space to store things or to put them away in a meaningful way. As experienced hosts, Ulrika and Willi know what can make a stay even more beautiful. Thank you very much!

Absolutely perfect apartment for a young family. In a perfect location, directly on the promenade with great views, very nice and bright and wonderfully stylish and lovingly furnished. There's nothing missing! And Leonie was one of the best hosts we've had so far. Always available and with great tips!

Oliver's accommodation is totally beautiful, with wonderful views from the living room and from the balcony to the fields & forests. There were four of us there & we felt very comfortable. Check-in & check-out worked wonderfully via the key box, we were even allowed to check out a little later. And when garbage bags & toilet paper were missing, Oliver also immediately organized it & had it placed in front of the apartment door. The apartment was rather cool overall (late May), which is helpful on hot days & blankets were also available on the couch. We actually wanted to go canoeing, which was not possible at short notice due to the low water, but the area is also great for cycling, swimming, hiking, climbing, etc. — so we will be happy to come back!

Everything is great and beautiful accommodation with a fantastic view. The only thing you (as a cyclist) need to know is that from Rettenberg there are 200 meters of altitude with an average of just under 10% and therefore relaxed rolling home is not possible. You have a fantastic view in the morning!

The accommodation was very good and very generously equipped, especially with towels, dish soap and much more. The landlady Heike Sweet was very open-minded, very helpful and always available. We felt comfortable and well taken care of all around. Will come again any time.

Great apartment in a very nice location! The apartment is equipped with a lot of attention to detail for tourists and no questions remain unanswered. We were 6 people there for 2 nights and were very satisfied!

We had a wonderful getaway in Allgäu. Petra and Hartmut are super nice people. The room and bath were very clean and cozy. We had a list of recommendations on what to do, where to eat, etc. Coffee maker and fridge were provided, as well as cutlery and crockery, so you could have nice breakfast every morning. We did this on the terrace with great views. What to keep in mind is that all supermarkets close at 8 pm. All purchases should be done beforehand. The restaurant is a 2-minute walk away. Gasthof Engelbräu Brewery is also highly recommended. We didn't miss anything and we would come back anytime!

very warm welcome, friendly, open hosts. Ambience wonderful. Beautiful hiking trails can be reached in 1 minute from the castle. Very large garden. Very quiet location but excursions in all kinds of directions wonderfully feasible. Swimming lake 10 minutes by car. Anytime again, just beautiful!

Our family stayed at this beautiful Country cabin type of home for a week during Easter vacation. Sabine and her family were wonderful and helpful and treated us like family. The home and location was perfect for our stay in Germany as it was central to places we wished to visit and see. The elevator, Sauna and ping pong table were fun bonuses. The two vehicle garage was perfect for us and with each room being on its own level and having its own washroom and shower was beneficial, there is no common washroom in the home however this was a minor detail for us. The home was fully equipped with cooking items and cutlery and dishes and has a wine fridge. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from the large windows. The town sits next to the Danube River and has a beautiful Church, its own Bakery and two restaurants/bars as well a sports play area with mini-putt and curling. The next town is 10 mins away which has a Grocery Store. We would love to visit her home again.

The three of us with a small baby had a great stay in the apartment. The apartment is - as we were looking for - slightly off the beaten track, quiet and in the countryside. We can recommend the apartment 100%; very clean, very friendly and informative communication, carport parking, new furnishings, beautiful view.

Right from the start, Janin was "eating good cherries"😁 - consistently likeable communication, helpful and generously accommodating when it comes to pre-check-in and very late checkout 🫶🏻 The house has everything and more we needed for a nice family weekend! The location is ideally suited for hikes from the house. We come back to everyday life

The stay at the cheese factory was wonderful: there were so many beautiful details to discover, freshly cut rhubarb, a fine herb bed in front of the door, a stubborn hangover and a construction site that could be seen everywhere, how committed and thoughtfully Michaela and Daniel lay the property and the garden and make piece by piece as beautiful as the cheese dairy already is. Michaela is very attentive, she was able to assess me well and had many tips tailored to me (up to a visit to the bakery of the village - thank you to the neighbor who made this possible). This care and attention to detail also runs through the entire place: there is nothing missing, from the bathing soap to the welcome food, from the magic wand to the bedding, has quality and fun here. All in all, I can hardly imagine that you will find a nicer place to stay between Lake Constance and Swabian Alb!

We had a wonderful holiday! The apartment is simply great: clean, very well equipped and beautifully furnished. You feel very comfortable right away. The location is also really good. You can reach many places relatively quickly by car and you can also take beautiful walks/hikes from the apartment. Greta is an excellent host, you can't wish for a better one. She puts so much effort into everything and takes excellent care of her guests...gives tips, thinks about excursion destinations, hikes, etc. - simply great! THANK YOU !!!

Large apartment that is well furnished with a kitchen, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The neighbourhood is also very quiet - all we could hear were birds chirping. We also appreciated the clear instructions given by Raphael and Dianna. Overall, this is a perfect place to stay if you want to explore the Appenzell region!

The apartment is great. Unfortunately, I was not well on arrival (we were only passing through on our way home) and then decided to drive home :-( Nevertheless, everyone was very kind and understanding.

We booked to spend a weekend with friends. Thomas's accommodation is perfect, charming and well-equipped. It takes a little over ten minutes to walk to the center, but the place is quiet and the view of the lake is breathtaking.

My mother and I had spent 5 nights in this pearl of apartment in early April. We were totally flashed by this apartment from second 1 - it is even more beautiful than in the photos. Everything is decorated with so much love for detail. High quality and practical. we were even able to spend a few hours on the sunbeds and have dinner on the terrace. In the evening, you can quietly hear the river ripples before falling asleep in these comfortable beds like a baby. The car is well taken care of in the garage and there was even a piece of felt on the wall that on the driver's side you do not accidentally damage the door when getting out. in the apartment there are helpful tips for things to do/hiking recommendations, instructions for the apartment and restaurant tips. we were eating at 3 of the recommended restaurants - it was a palate. we also had the pleasure of meeting Petra - very likeable. Thanks for the great break

Everything was perfect ! We had no difficulty to parc with a break. The appartement is nice and very well located.
