With our rental car, Sandakan's attractions were minutes away, and we loved the charming jogging trail beside the property, where locals exercise alongside a babbling stream. (We'll visit the nearby waterpark next time!) For families or groups up to 6, this is the ultimate Sandakan base. The combination of generous space, premium comfort, and heartfelt service creates unforgettable stays. We're already planning our return - that's the highest recommendation we can give!

Peony’s place is a few mins drive south of Kundasang but still afford a view of the top of mount kk, unfortunately we were only able to view it when the skies cleared as it was mostly rainy and windy while we were there. The bedroom and kitchen/ dining was huge and clean, but there was no WiFi and no tv reception, it’s a great place to unwind and enjoy the cool weather.

This will be 2nd or 3rd time my family stayed at the place. Will come back again. Great place to stay, especially with family. Thank you.

love the scenery

I don't usually write reviews, but felt this was quite a good experience at Yong's apartment. I think it is a pretty new listing on AirBnB, and you can tell because the apartment has lots of new things inside. The apartment is spacious with three bedrooms, including two queen beds, and two single beds, and so six guests can be accommodated. We had three. The apartment was very clean - no dust anywhere - simple, spartan, and well organised, with everything you need in a logical place, such as cleaning supplies, towels, or remote controls. The fridge was stalked with plenty of water for us when we arrived, too. The location is good for Sandakan. Shops and restaurants are a 5-10 min walk away, and you are central between the old area by the sea and the airport. The apartment is on the first floor above ground in a quiet condonimium. A pleasant, relaxing 5-night stay for us, in between visits to different parts of Sandakan.

It was a the best place to stay. Had wonderful resting here. The host vry responsive & helpful. provide a parking so tht i no need to worried about my car. Breathe taking view from the house, cold cozy place. will definitely repeat when i go back to sdk again.

We had a great stay at Jing Yee’s apartment. The space was open and airy with ample towels, pristine bed linen and a selection of (much appreciated) snacks on our arrival. A small hot plate or induction stove would be the only addition we’d suggest in the kitchen. The apartment is in a great location, though it is a few minutes out of town - we hired a car so this wasn’t an issue for us but without a car, you’d certainly need to hire a Grab to get to/from the apartment. That said, staying at Kingfisher was a lovely reprieve from the bustle of the town centre.

Verten var vennlig og serviceminded. Leiligheten var strøken. Rent og pent. Ikke noe sentralt i forhold til sentrum, men for oss som kun trengte en overnatting, hadde ikke det noen betydning. Linken til Google-maps stemte ikke helt med selve adressen, så fikk en ekstra gåtur på området. Gode naboer hjalp oss til riktig inngang. Kan anbefale stedet på det sterkeste om man trenger høy standard overnatting for 4-5 personer til en rimelig pris.

Untuk yang ingin datang ke sandakan,homestay ni memang sangat berbaloii..view dari ruang tamu pn lawa..jarak homestay ni utk ke bandar sandakan pn tidak jauh,lebih kurang dalam 10-15 minit sahaja. Overall rate 9/10

We had an exceptional experience staying at this wonderful place and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The highlight of the stay was the host’s amazing hospitality. She was incredibly responsive, answering all of my questions almost immediately, and her helpfulness truly made a difference.

Secured and very clean unit. Have enough space for 9 of us (7 adults & 2 kids). Recommended 👍🏻

good place to stay.private and quite. very nice surrounding. strategic with nature themes with ocean views. the rooms clean and comfortable. love the place. great for couple on honeymoon or family staycation.

The places was brilliant, clean but it not close to city. The host was a great host and was always helpful and quick at responding to any questions. Would 100% recommend!

Clean and comfortable homestay, nice for family to stay. Just only Shower soap is not prepared at every toilet so we need to share. Overall, the homestay is nice to stay 👍🏻

Jasmine’s place was great and ideal for us as a group of 4 adults and 1 child. The aparment was specious, clean and had all needed amenities, also the pool was wonderfull during/after a hot day outside. Jasmine was always very responsive and friedly. We would really recommend this place! 😊
