House holiday rentals in Balboa Peninsula, Newport Beach

It’s hard to put into words just how amazing our stay here was! First time to California with two children and it was like home from home! So much more was provided than expected to make it such an enjoyable stay! Levy was contactable any time if we had any issues and happy to provide info about things to do around the area! The pool was perfect and the boys spend many hours in it as well as the hot tub which was a godsend after a long day sight seeing or after theme parks! Super close to Disney as well! I couldn’t recommend this place enough. It’s refreshing to have a host that can’t do enough for you to make your stay enjoyable which levy certainly did! Thank you for everything and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we happen to visit California again! Orange county was by far our fav place including laguna beach! So location was perfect too! This home was beautifully decorated, well furnished and very clean! Both Harold and Jasper were very attentive and responded quickly. Our only disappointment was that the hot tub wasn't working properly when we stayed and we were really looking forward to that. They did try and repair it while we were there, but the issue wasn't resolved in time. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this property!

Anthony and Janey’s home in Orange, CA was everything we hoped for and more! The location was perfect for our Disney family trip—just a short drive away and in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The house looked exactly like the photos (honestly, even better in person) and was spotless, tidy, and beautifully maintained. The pool was clean and comfortably warm, the beds were super cozy, and the showers had amazing water pressure. Every amenity was in excellent condition, and you could tell they really put thought into making the home welcoming and functional. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and Anthony and Janey were amazing super hosts—friendly, quick to respond, and super helpful throughout our stay. We loved the home so much we genuinely didn’t want to leave. Hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve had! We’ll definitely be staying here again the next time we’re in California.

The place was a great stay and it was minutes away from the location. It was really close to Disneyland. I really enjoyed how there is a projector and big couch, great to use after a long day of walking at the park.

We had a great time stay in this house. The kids love the pool. The house was clean and in a nice neighborhood, plus a huge park right next to the house. Shayla is nice, we would recommend people to stay in there!

Fantastic stay at the Marvel house!! It was amazing with such great theming, lots to do, great scavenger hunt, and a super host! You must stay here and the grand kids loved the arcade games, heated pool, and movie room,etc…too much to mention….

Me and my family really enjoyed the place. The HOME was very nice clean and peaceful. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful as well. The host got back with me right away when I needed help with anything. I would definitely stay there again and refer anyone else I know that’s looking for a nice Airbnb.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Tarik’s Airbnb. It truly felt like a home away from home. Tarik was very responsive, flexible, and professional throughout the entire process, even when a small hiccup occurred on my end. The pool and jacuzzi were perfect for my group, and the patio speakers were a great bonus. Beds were comfortable, and the space was totally worth the price. Thank you again for having me, Tarik!

The unit was everything we wanted: clean, great floorplan, ocean views, directly across the street from the beach, 2 parking spaces (which is KEY on the Peninsula), updated, and easy to find. My family and I will absolutely book this again when we are in Newport Beach.

Great location on the quiet end of Balboa Island. 4 houses from the beach, 2 blocks from the ferry. Great outdoor front deck, perfect to hang out and have meals on nice days. Kayaks and bikes available for your use! Downstairs unit of duplex was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Kitchen well supplied with everything you need. Owner very responsive to questions and needs. This is a great place, I can't wait to go back.

Great location! Very close to beach and restaurants. We have two small kids and this worked perfectly for us. It’s hard to find a good place that has a separate bathroom for the other bedroom. It was a great trip for us and a lot is due to this amazing find. Thank you Lisa!

We had a lovely stay over the holidays at Miriam's Balboa Island home - the location absolutely cannot be beat! It was nice to be off the busy main street on Balboa Island. The house is on the same block as the ferry to the peninsula - a real bonus that we took advantage of several times. There is also a great Mexican restaurant directly across the street from the house. The gas fireplace in the living area was cozy and perfect for the colder months. The rooftop patio is also gorgeous. Everything was extremely clean and the property management company was quick to respond any time we had a question or needed help with something at the house. We would love to return again!

We had an amazing stay at this pet-friendly beach house, and it was truly the perfect getaway for our family. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how welcoming and accommodating the property was for pets. The house was spacious, well-maintained, and had plenty of room for both us and our dogs to relax. The fenced-in yard was a huge bonus, giving our dogs a safe space to play and explore. The beach access was just a short walk away, and it was so nice to be able to take our dogs along for daily walks along the shore. We also loved the quiet neighborhood. Our hosts were incredibly accommodating, providing helpful recommendations for local attractions and making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Overall, this beach house offered the ideal getaway for relaxation and fun. Highly recommend!

We celebrated our son's birthday at this location and it was a blast. So close to all the restaurants and bars and a five minute walk to the sand! We love Newport Beach and you cannot beat this location. We will hopefully visit again soon!

Everything was absolutely perfect! The location is perfect! My family had so much fun here! Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, bike rentals and is right on the beach. Everyone in the area is friendly, happy, and polite. Jeannie's place is equipped with all of the essentials needed to stay comfortably. There are extra blankets, towels, beach sport equipment and an ice chest to borrow if needed. The kitchen is updated & had everything we needed to cook and prepare meals. We will definitely book again in the future. Our host Danica was sweet and responsive. Our stay was amazing and we were all sad to leave. We will definitely book again.

We came during Memorial Day weekend and greatly appreciated the garage parking. House was exactly as listed and it’s worth the price considering how expensive other units are in the area. Quynh was prompt with responses and was gracious enough to let us get our perishables into the refrigerator prior to check in time. We would rent again for sure!

Absolutely perfect! Stayed here with a group of 7 girls and we had the best weekend. The home is even more spacious than the photos and everything is in pristine condition. Sheila was incredibly responsive and proactive with communication.

We loved our stay! This is our second time, for my little family it’s perfect. We found the pull out couch bed more comfortable than the master bedrooms mattress. Loved going to sleep to sound of the ocean. Great place !

A charming 280sq ft cottage. Everything was clean and looked exactly like the photos. Obviously it isn’t a new property and the age shows, however there is a lot of charm in that too. Beachview Rentals was extremely responsive and all the small “issues” that arose during our stay were handled promptly. Due to the size and location of the property it was less private than we hoped. However, the patio was absolutely amazing. It was fun to people-watch. I would recommend this property for a nice getaway weekend.
