Waterfront holiday rentals in Balestrate

A great location to explore the old town. Great restaurants and bars all within walking distance. Also very near the harbour - we had a brilliant boat trip with Zyz Adventures. Would definitely recommend a trip out.

Alberto was an excellent host that was proactive so he could be there at the same time to welcome us. He not only welcomed us into the apartment but left us water, wine & coffee and showed us around the area. Beautiful balcony with stunning sunsets over the sea. Fully stocked kitchen. Alberto was very quick to respond to any questions we had.

Stunning beach house in a magic spot. The views are genuinely next-level — you walk out and it’s just ocean. House was clean, stylish, and felt like a proper getaway. Host was lovely and made everything super easy. Stayed here with my parents and we all absolutely loved it. Would come back in a heartbeat.

The apartment is highly recommended and the view from the balcony drinking coffee to the sea in the morning was simply a dream. The beach right outside the front door is great and not much visited. We will be happy to come back

Patrizia is a super person and host! Courteous and attentive to every need of her guests with timely and punctual directions and suggestions. The apartment is comfortable, equipped with every comfort and is strategically located: breakfast, bakery, market, the sea and much more within walking distance. Another key element is the proximity to the train station, which will allow you to reach Palermo and its beauties with ease. Highly recommended! (If you arrive by car, be careful with the navigator's directions: they are not always up to date, they may not correspond to the road!)

Loved our stay in Palermo and felt right at home! Such a welcoming start to our trip with homemade treats and a bottle of wine. The elevator made it easy to bring up luggage too. Paola was such a friendly and responsive host. Def. recommend to stay here. 10/10!!

Erika is a beautiful and loving hostess who asked us in between if everything was okay and if we needed anything. The place is very nice and stylishly decorated. The cottage as well as the bathroom is well maintained and very clean. You have a lot of space and can move freely outside in the garden, as well as cook comfortably. Nothing was missing in the accommodation and we were provided with a lot of food that we could use. I can recommend it to everyone, especially families, but also friends. The beach is less than 5 minutes' walk away and it is clean and the water is clear. We would come back here!!

Very well located apartment a few minutes drive from the center of Alcamo or Castellammare, supermarkets and especially the beach (less than 5 min walk). The apartment is clean and well-equipped, there is what it takes to be self-sufficient and also has a parking space in the residence. The main asset of this apartment is its large terrace with its breathtaking sunset view behind the mountains that run along the coast 🌄 I'll be back, thanks Mario!

Fantastic location for the beach and within a short drive to a wide range of restaurants. Rosanna was accessible and very responsive!

Roberto's home is situated in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood of Villagrazia di Carini and is 30 minutes away from Palermo downdown by car. So, perfect location without the big city hussle. The place is an actual house, very spacious one I might add and with a nice back garden filled with citrus, olive and palm trees among others. The background is spectacular with a majestic mountain being iluminated by different shades of colors throughout the day. We felt more than welcome, Roberto and his family are great hosts and we didn't miss anything. In fact it was one of the most confortable and pleasant accomodations we've had in our latest travels. Highly recommended!

The stay at Maria's apartment was very pleasant. Everything in the apartment was very clean. Maria has lovingly furnished the apartment. Beautiful, large and practical kitchen, everything available, makes it fun to cook there. Great view from the terrace. The terrace is also very nicely designed. Just for those who want peace and quiet and want to relax. Maria is very personable and a warm-hearted person. She was very discreet, always available for questions and gave us good tips. We had a great short stay at this air bnb! We were only staying the day before we flew back home however I would recommend staying a little longer as the location is so beautiful with loads of restaurants and lovely beaches nearby. Vincenzo was extremely responsive and helpful even giving us a lift from the train station. The apartment also stays nice and cool despite the heat outside. Lovely air bnb!

Incredible little cottage next to the sea. You share a courtyard with other apartments that has direct access to the beach. The cottage has a private terrace overlooking the sea, where we spent much of our time. Just a wonderful place--peaceful and serene with a few restaurants and bars in walking distance. Maia was a great host who gave clear instructions and communicated well.

Perfect location and exactly as described. Our hosts Giovanni and Lorenzo were absolutely wonderful. The Villa is stunning, the beds were extremely comfortable and the lounging areas are just perfect. Mondello is a picturesque town full of charm with gorgeous restaurants and lovely, friendly people. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you for an unforgettable holiday!

We had a wonderful week at Nino and Edy's. Impeccable accommodation, impeccably clean, modern, tastefully decorated, quiet on the heights of Castellmare with a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the mountain. Nino is an exceptional host, welcoming, very kind and generous, always ready to help (he picked us up in town when we arrived, took care of repairing my husband's broken watch, offered us figs and sweets...) Castellmare and its surroundings are beautiful, lots of places to visit. If you come to Sicily, stay with Nino and Edy, you won't regret it. Sylvie

The house is perfect for enjoying Mondello beach, comfortable and complete with everything, including parking. Benedetto is an exceptional host, he also welcomed us with some very welcome surprises and allowed us flexible hours. Highly recommended :-)

Very nice and spacious apartment - we were surprised by the size ! It’s a really well renovated old apartment with amazing high ceilings and beautiful old tile floors 🤍 The bathrooms are new and very clean. The city centre and a lot of nice restaurants are in walking distance and just across the street there is big parking space.

Super central and cosy apartment! And Giovanni was amazing and responsive.

We wanted to explore the historic city of Palermo so chose this AirBnB because the location was perfect to visit so many places. It also looked stylish and comfortable with lovely outside views. We were not disappointed - and would return there to explore more of Palermo that we could not see this time.....not enough holiday!

Staying at Enrico’s property was the best Air BnB experience I’ve had! He was so friendly, responsive and made so many useful and helpful recommendations. Enrico went above and beyond to make our stay most comfortable and easy. Aside from that, the property itself was the perfect location right on stunning Mondello beach with the most beautiful views. We found Loredana and Filippos place to be like a home away from home! Spotlessly clean, excellent food recommendations, all sites walkable, and every need catered for (food, water, tv, toiletries, books, guides ect). If we’re ever in Sicily we will be staying again!

We have just returned from a great 6 nights at Michele and Doriana's apartment after 4 nights in Palermo. The location is brilliant, with a supermarket just 5 minutes up the hill, and a really nice bakery 5 minutes in the other direction (called Le Delizie, great for breakfast but closed on Wednesdays)! The hosts gave really good recommendations on things to see and do, especially the boat trip which we loved! The boat was also €100 cheaper than the one we used in Palermo, and it also lasted an hour longer! The apartment itself was perfect and matched the photos exactly. The terrace at the top was perfect for having a drink at night. The only downside we could find wasn't anything to do with the apartment itself, but it was the noise on 2 or 3 nights coming from the park outside. Many young people were out until 2am playing really loud music, which made it impossible to sleep in the room facing the park. We would 100% stay here again in the future. Thanks for having us!

We spent a week in the great apartment. Our flight was delayed but this was not an issue. The location is excellent. The beach, shopping street and restaurants - all within walking distance. The backyard with oranges and lemon trees is a dream, we enjoyed fresh orange juice every morning. If we were to "criticize" something, then that there are a little bit of storage options and the mattresses in the bedroom (for us) were a bit too hard. All in all, however, we are very satisfied and are already planning our next stay there.
