Apartment holiday rentals in Barberino Val d'Elsa

We had a wonderful stay here for our honeymoon. The town of Carmignano is a great place to get away from the bustle of the city. Great spots to eat. The unit itself is one of the most unique places I have ever stayed! If taking the bus, please note that the 210 route does not go direct to Carmignano every time, and you will have to make transfers. Just look up the bus schedules online and they can tell you where to transfer.

A comunicação com Gael foi extremamente fácil. Embora ele estivesse fora da cidade, os coanfitriões Angelo e Alessandro foram super cordiais e atenciosos. Realmente nos sentimos em casa. Voltaríamos 1 milhão de vezes, com certeza!!!

We stayed for 4 nights and Elisa’s place and were really sad to leave. The house is located in the beautiful hills of Tuscany and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, everything was exactly as described. A (rental) car is required to get around, if you have one the location is perfect for exploring the region. Elisa was always available for questions and gave us great recommendations for what to do. Would definitely recommend!

Top locatie, met prima voorzieningen. Het uitzicht is prachtig en een dikke plus voor de privé kookles! Niet twijfelen, gewoon boeken.

Silvia und Roberto sind liebevolle Gastgeber. Wir konnten mit jedem Anliegen zu Silvia kommen. Im Vorfeld haben wir viele Tips bekommen, wovon wir den ein oder anderen ausprobiert haben. Das Apartment liegt ruhig und lädt zum entspannen am Pool ein. Wir werden ziemlich sicher wiederkommen, nur das nächste Mal zu dritt!

Highly recommend anyone new to Italy to try San gimigano first. Staying here allowed us flexibility to explore other cities and had plenty of great spots in walking distance. Lorenzo provided fantastic recommendations and assisted with everything we asked for.

Beautiful house, a short walk from the Piazzale Michelangelo for a stunning viewpoint. Francesca is an amazing host, very friendly and dedicated to making our stay enjoyable. The house was clean and well stocked with essentials, and the air conditioning worked very well. She gave us lots of recommendations and information on the area too. The area itself is incredibly peaceful and you can enjoy a quiet evening in the beautiful garden. We would come back again!

Anna è una host molto gentile, attenta a tutte le esigenze dei suoi ospiti. La casa è situata in una posizione stupenda, circondata da tipici paesaggi toscani e tantissimo verde. A pochi km si può visitare un borgo bellissimo con tutti i servizi primari. Anna è disponibile a fornire molti consigli su attività nei dintorni. La casa è esattamente come nelle foto, pulita e molto caratteristica, ha ampi spazi esterni molto curati dove poter mangiare.

Beautiful place to stay if you’re looking for something further out to enjoy a more scenic stay outside the city! Easy enough to get the bus into the city of Florence for the day also so best of both worlds! The decor and design of the place was beautiful also.

The perfect place to explore Chianti each day. We stayed 5 nights and it was just perfect. Great amenities, beautiful pool, bbqs and lovely areas to sit and enjoy the views and the sunset. Always fabulous to come home to. Our upstairs apartment was spacious, comfortable and all we required with a lovely view. We had great recommendations from Silvia which we followed up on. Great to have restaurants nearby. Reasonable- highly recommend.

Amazing apartment - stylish, astonishing views, great Aircon, loads of space. It’s situated on a beautiful square right slap bang in the middle of things - after spending 4 days here, we couldn’t wish for a better location. The building and square are very characterful yet quiet (except the amazing music floating up in the evenings). Great value - we had four nights for the cost of one night in a Florence 5-star, with loads more space. Things you might need to know: the huge windows have electric blinds, which either provide shade or blackout - nice! The two bathrooms are cute and functional but small. The kitchen also - well equipped but not much room to conjure up a gourmet meal. However the number of excellent restaurants within ten minutes walk is astonishing - just follow Edoardo’s recommendations.

We had the most amazing stay at Sibilla's apartment! It is STUNNINGLY decorated and almost makes it feel like you are staying in the Medici Chapel itself. The apartment had everything we needed, and the plant room/ sunroom was glorious to enjoy in the mornings/returning after a day's exploring. We met both Niccolo and Sibilia and both were so friendly and helpful. The area surrounding the apartment is perfect, with central Florence being a 20 minute walk away, and the restaurants/shops/wine bars of Santo Spirito being literally on your doorstep. This is the most enjoyable Air BnB we have ever stayed in, and would come back in a heartbeat! Grazie mille!!

This place is what I imagined when I close my eyes and think of Tuscany. The view from the bedroom is amazing and the apartment is adorable. There is AC but we didn’t end up needing it since the windows let in such a glorious breeze. The kitchen was well equipped, we were just missing paper towels. The pool was great with a fantastic view although it would have been helpful to have access to pool towels. The location is great and about a 15 minute drive into San Gimignano so you probably need a car. It was also a quick drive to supermarkets and nearby wineries which we loved. Berta was really helpful during check-in and provided us with recommendations in the area.

Great location, near to everything we wanted to visit. Calm village with great views. Apartment is well equipped. We also had a wonderful dinner at the location with great views over the hills.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in dem Haus. Es ist super ausgestattet und es waren viele Aufmerksamkeiten vorbereitet, um uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Kommunikation und Gestaltung der Ankunft hat einwandfrei geklappt. Da es noch kühler war wurde auch das Haus aufgeheizt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Our stay at Federico's beautiful apartment was just wonderful. The view from the terrace is breathtaking - we could gaze at the picturesque Chianti hills, forests and vineyards (including the fattoria Montecchio) for hours and took every meal outside. Federico is an extremely kind and just overall lovely host. He is very helpful and quick with whatever request you might have and gave great advice for parking lots (e.g. in Siena and Florence) and excursions in the region. The apartment is perfect for a stay in the middle of the Chianti, in the midst of nature and culture. Immediately opposite the house, there are also great little shops with local produce and specialities. While San Donato Is peaceful and quiet itself, you can also get to Siena and Florence very quickly by car and make great day trips in the whole region.

Tutto perfetto. La posizione dell'appartamento è magnifica: immerso nel verde, offre una vista rilassante sulle colline circostanti. Allo stesso tempo è in una posizione strategica per chi desidera visitare i borghi storici del Valdarno e del Chianti. L’appartamento è curato, luminoso e pulito. Paola e la sua famiglia sono padroni di casa molto gentili e sempre disponibili a offrire consigli su attività e luoghi da visitare nella zona. Consigliatissimo!

Luca’s apartment overlooking the piazza was absolutely perfect! There were reviews about it being loud but honestly we were so tired every night from enjoying the beauty of Florence that I didn’t even notice any noise. The location couldn’t have been any better & it was a perfect space for my husband and I. Thank you Luca!!

We had a wonderful stay. The patio and hot tub were amazing. Walk to everything. No need for a car. Lots of restaurants and attractions close by. Grocery store around the corner. Outdoor hot tub was lovely after a day of steps.

After another Airbnb mishap, Gianluca was so accommodating to allow to book and check in late last minute. He even met us there personally to be sure we got in okay. He even had the fold out couch ready with linens and provided a few breakfast items. The place was better than we’d hoped, location was fantastic, updated and perfectly clean! We would absolutely stay here again. This place will be one of the highlights of our trip!

Excellent location and beautiful apartment. Easy to get in self-check in and good communication with the host. Great kitchen, stocked with all the hardware you need. Common area was comfortable for the 4 of us. The view is amazing. Balconies on the water with close up views of Ponte Vecchio. Definitely one of the best places we've stayed in a 20 day trip in several cities.

Wygodny choć nieco staromodny apartament w spokojnej okolicy, wokół dużo zieleni i piękny widok z okna. Duży i zadbany basen z przestrzenią do odpoczynku. Dobre miejsce na relaks po zwiedzaniu Sieny i okolic.

Martina's place was a great rental in central Florence. Close enough to walk to major landmarks and the central train station. The place has everything you need and more. We were met by Martina and her friendly dog on arrival. She is very friendly and hospitable and took her time to show us her home and give us lots of information on the area and suggestions. I would recommend this rental to everyone!
