We spent a week here with our family, there were 7 of us including our 11 year old granddaughter From before our holiday until the end we cannot fault anything The villa was more spacious than expected, the showers were brilliant, the beds were extremely comfortable The pool was a great size, lovely barbecue area. The location was brilliant, 5 minute walk to a supermarket where we found all we needed Great places for breakfast, 10 minute walk to the most beautiful beach, there are more restaurants & bars in this area too Excellent communication from the company who rent this villa out We highly recommend

We were the only guests at Quinta del Tempo so we had the lovely garden to ourselves. It was lovely to come back to the house after a day out and to relax in the garden, listening to multiple nightingales, not to mention the frogs. The view all the way to the coast was wonderful. The tiny house was very comfortable, very clean and kept in good repair. There is plenty of garden furniture to use. Jorge was very helpful. We were only a mile or 2 from Monchique where there is a supermarket.

Amazing place for relaxing and vacationing! Fantastic house, very tidy, everything works, the house is beautiful, the pool was perfect. Perfect location of the house. Walking distance to the center of Carvoeiro. However, you can have some privacy at the house. The village of Carvoeiro is just lovely. Lots to do and see even though the village is quite small. Great restaurants and lovely cafes. A special mention that the house is next to its own vineyard. Wine is good:) One bottle ready for house renters in the fridge; part of the stay. Our family enjoyed the house so much that our daughters would already like to come back for a couple of weeks. Highly recommend. Antonio was also nice as a host. Friendly and considerate.

Great spot close to Odeceixe and a nice walk to the beach, super quiet and well equipped.

Would happily recommend the hobbit house, what a beautiful place to stay. Very peaceful surroundings with cows for company. Like other reviews, would recommend 4x4 or off-road car as the road leading up to the property is uneven but we had no issues in a crossover. Ana and Michael are very responsive hosts and have local recommendations that they're happy to share. There is lots of space to go on walks, beautiful beaches within 30/40 minutes drive and plenty of space on the property to relax.

This is a great little cottage not far from the hustle and bustle of Lagos. Bernard and Carol were so friendly and made us feel right at home. They’ve really created an oasis outside. It was great to use the BBQ and relax after a busy day exploring. We just loved our stay and 100% recommended it to anyone that wants a little peace and quiet and serenity.

Dear Nuno, We felt so comfortable in your cottage. The decor is tasteful and beautiful . We slept so well, cooked and enjoyed the quiet surroundings. Arrifana is the nearest beach which is beautiful. In Lagos was a great organic market with incredibly great products of the region . The house is SPARKLING CLEAN ! An inspiring wealth of ideas in 🙏❤️Nuno has thought of everything to make guests feel completely comfortable. We would love to return and recommend this property without ifs or buts .

I had an amazing stay at Talurdo! The area is very secluded and calming. It was so relaxing to walk around, chill in the hangmat, sweat in the sauna, look at the stars … Chris and David are the most lovely hosts. 10/10 would reccommend for a detox getaway in nature.

We stayed here with my wife and our two young kids, and it was exactly the kind of peaceful countryside escape we were hoping for. The house itself was spotless and incredibly well-appointed — from the basics like coffee, tea, and sugar to thoughtful extras like shampoo, body wash, plenty of towels, and even laundry soap. It really felt like everything had been considered to make our stay comfortable. The setting is just beautiful, surrounded by farmland, with wildflowers in the air and the occasional soft sound of sheep bells in the distance. It was so quiet and serene, a perfect place to truly unwind. Our kids loved the pool and games room, and the strider bikes were a huge hit — such a great touch for little ones. Francisco was a fantastic host. He made us feel welcome right away and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway in the countryside

My Portuguese home! I stayed for two months - could have stayed longer. The vibe of this place is wonderful, it instantly feels warm and cosy. A place to relax and recalibrate. The gardens are beautiful with lemon trees welcoming you from the entrance, almond trees blossoming and roses surrounding you whilst you dine alfresco. Kathleen was a super host, responsive and attentive. Lilian looked after me on site impeccably, even saving me after I’d locked myself out! Adriano was super friendly when he came weekly to clean the pool and look after the garden. The kitchen is great for home cooking with everything you need. The main shower was delicious and the main bed was like a dream. Everything has been thought about and is setup as a home and not as a airbnb (or hotel). Thanks Kathleen, see you again soon!

Beautiful villa. Had a great time here with my family!

As two combined families, the villa's next door to each other worked perfectly! The setting is beautiful and the views from the terrace, stunning for a sun set. We had everything we needed and had a wonderful week. Easy enough to find. Nick was prompt meeting us and was helpful with lots of information. Villa's both well equipped and comfortable. Comfy beds, soft towels, plenty of space. Pool was great and cleaned regularly. All in all a fabulous stay. Thanks all.

What a fantastic experience! The Tiny House is a true gem, nestled in a dreamlike landscape. You can immediately feel how much love and detail is in every corner. Here you could relax wonderfully and enjoy nature to the fullest. The tranquility was wonderful and the surroundings invited you to take beautiful walks. A big plus was also the contact with Mark, the landlord. He is a totally nice and uncomplicated guy, and his lovely dogs made our stay even more beautiful. It was the perfect mix of adventure, comfort and warm hospitality. We are totally thrilled and can recommend this little paradise to anyone who wants to escape everyday life and experience pure relaxation!"

We wanted a place that was quiet where we could rest but still go places easily. The room was lovely and the bed mattress was very comfortable, which is important. We slept great! The outside was very unique and well decorated and also had many very comfortable places to sit to read or lay in the sun. Our host was exceptional in all the help he gave us in recommending restaurants and places of interest. He was caring and was easy to talk to. Their two dogs were very friendly and their flock was well cared for and beautiful to see. It was a relaxing and wonderful getaway for us, and we were not disappointed. :)

The vacation home is located in a quiet oasis in the middle of an almond forest (I hope I recognized it). The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. There are also things like coffee capsules, detergent, salt & oil so that you have everything you need for the first few days. Communication was smooth, friendly and fast. We felt very comfortable there and I would always like to come again.

This home is a beautiful farm house in the area - you feel right at home when you arrive and it makes you want to move in. The property is so peaceful, calming and great for kids and outdoor meals. The location is wonderful and right in the middle of all of the beaches in the area. The hosts are incredibly helpful and communicative (the best communication I've encountered with an airbnb) - always there to respond to you if you have questions and help with anything that comes up. The house is also incredibly well equipped for multiple guests and a longer stay - the photos don't reveal just how many dishes, pots and pans, and other supplies the home has. As well, the windows have screens which is a HUGE plus that many airbnbs in the area do not have. If you are there in cooler or wetter weather, the house does get a little bit damp if you are sensitive to that but that is pretty common for most places in the area and the hosts have put things in place to help with it.

Villa is absolutely beautiful exactly like it is in the photos highly recommended, Would definitely stay here again villa is only a few minutes from the town by car. Everything you could possibly wish for in the kitchen, right down to a third fridge in the outside barbecue area. We stayed with friends, as 2 families so eight in the villa and had plenty of room. also separate areas for all of us so it never felt like we was all on top of each other I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying here Till the next time 😎

We had an amazing and very inspirational stay at the Cuddle Farm. More than tourism or airbnb their place is really a life project of Femke and her family. We felt priviliged having been able to experience and enjoy their little farm and entanglement of nature and culture 🙂

We really enjoyed our stay at Monte da Choça. Rudolfo was always ready with help, a good story or good suggestions on where to go. We had some issues in the beginning but it was quickly solved and Rudolfo was very responsive. We enjoyed the very clean pool a lot, feeding the animals every morning, petting the super cute dogs and cats, and our son really liked the games and the bicycle available, and we spend a lot of time just roaming the grounds. The hotel is placed in a very pretty nature setting and only 10 mins drive away from some of the most breathtaking beaches we have ever visited. We would love to come again one day.

We had a fantastic stay with Carlos. Carlos gave us clear directions and was helpful with suggested places to visit including Praia do Grande which was a beautiful sandy beach, like being in the Caribbean! The accommodation was very clean and well equipped. We loved squeezing the oranges and lemons from the garden and the peaceful surroundings. Lots of places to sit in the garden, always an opportunity for a sunny spot. There were restaurants nearby and a supermarket in Monchique. We only had a short 3 day break but can’t wait to go back. Thank you, Carlos, for a great stay!

We were on site as a family with six adults and one toddler and felt comfortable from the first minute. The house is wonderfully decorated and offers a very quiet and pleasant atmosphere. The location is perfect for excursions by car to the numerous spectacular beaches and rocky coasts. Fernando and his family are wonderful hosts, were easily accessible at all times and helped us a lot! We would always come back!
