We had a short but truly lovely stay! A perfect place for our family--we could all spread out a bit after a week sharing hotel rooms. Loved the location--the views were charming. Proximity to Bayeux was excellent--less than a five minute drive to the town center parking lots. Very clean, clear instructions, and thoughtfully stocked kitchen (though we didn't cook!). We'd definitely return. Thank you for a great stop on our road trip.

This was my third time at Emmanuel and Beatrice’s place. They have always been very kind to deal with and they strive to make my experience there better! This was exactly we had hoped for. Steps away from a major WWII D Day site on a one way street that saw very little traffic. The space was clean and in, what I would call, a very historic home. I recommend this booking for anyone who would like to be centrally located for the historic beaches of Normandy during D Day or a quiet villa 400 meters from the calming waters of the ocean.

Our group of 7 50 something men really enjoyed our 5 day stay in Normandy. Charlotte met us on arrival and showed us around the extensive house and facilities. The house was great with a well equipped kitchen, great covered and heated pool, tennis court and more. We didn't manage to make use of the bikes or canoes that were also at our disposal. Bedrooms were clean with good beds. My only criticisms would be that there was only seating for 5 in the living room, toilets did not have basins, and the directions were not great - a what.3.words location would have been really helpful. Overall, it was a great place to stay and one of our group plans to return with their family later in the year.

We were 2 couples staying at Simon’s house and there was plenty of room for us all including a separate bathroom per couple . The best feature by far was the stunning view from the front room which faced the sea and Omaha beach. The upstairs bedrooms also had large windows offering the same view. The house had everything in that you needed and the kitchen was modern . Its location was fantastic for experiencing/visiting memorials and museums . A small amount of restaurants in walking distance and the area felt very safe . Off street parking for our cars . We had a lovely 3 nights here

It is not easy to find accommodation for a family or friends reunion. Everything is there here. Number of rooms and beds, leisure facilities for children and adults, crockery, seats all in number for a large group. It's clean. My garden is nice, like the house. Thanks again for this weekend!

an absolute favorite! I often travel with my dog, I have stayed in Airbnbs but this one is at the top of the list. Not only for the setting, the location, the quiet, the accommodation which is already remarkable. But beyond that, everything was thought out in detail, the host is welcoming and responsive. Available, the essentials, coffee, salt, pepper, shower gel. We even have essential oils for the sauna if you want. Sauna and Nordic bath prepared nicely by the host in addition before our return to the accommodation. The garden is enclosed, which is ideal for animals. I've never seen an Airbnb as good as this one, thank you for the comfort and the good times.

I would 100% recommend this listing. Celine our host was responsive and very friendly. All the instructions were clear and the listing matches the photos and our expectations. Very well located and very well equipped, we were with small children, we had everything we needed. Thank you very much for this Norman break in this very nice setting.

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

A practical, well-equipped and soberly decorated accommodation, ideally located on the port of Grandcamp, in a perfectly secure residence. Everything is within walking distance, restaurants, shops and the beach...

A responsive and available host. A spacious accommodation and very well equipped to spend time in the rental (swimming pool, ping pong, pétanque, billiards...). Outside, the village is quiet and the sea is quite close.

Ideal house to discover the region! We had a great 3-night stay in Carole and Marc's lovely house, located near Bayeux – a perfect location for visiting the Landing beaches. The house is very clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and the quiet of the place is really appreciable. We particularly liked the terrace, very pleasant for relaxing at the end of the day. The arrival was simple thanks to a key box, and we then had the pleasure of meeting Carole and Marc, very welcoming and caring. We were a family with two teenagers, and even though the house only has one bathroom (open to the bedroom), it did not pose any particular problem – you just have to organize a little. A big thank you to Carole and Marc for their hospitality – we will keep a very good memory of this stay.

We enjoyed a couple of nights at this lovely accommodation. Hosts very welcoming. Ideal location for visiting D Day beaches. Lovely breakfast each morning with homemade delicious cake. True to the description of the accommodation, we spent 2 days relaxing with nature and our animal friends (swans; coypus) that we were able to observe in peace with the binoculars provided. we expect to be back next year. thank you

A very special 17 th century home on a quiet street in the heart of Bayeux. Spacious, extremely clean, with a sweet patio. The single toilet is distinct from the bathroom and it is down a stone spiral staircase to the ground floor. Bedroom and bath are on the second floor. Only a problem if mobility is an issue. The house feels like part of Bayeux history. We loved staying here.

Great location right in the middle of historic Bayeux! Close to all the attractions and good restaurants. Clear instructions with good restaurant recommendations.

We ended our stay in Normandy in a beautiful way by coming to Émilie and François's. An excellent, very sincere and very friendly welcome, a spacious accommodation that was done with taste and beauty. A relaxing setting and the pleasure of being with horses. Laure gave us a warm welcome, and we were delighted at how quiet & private the house & garden was, especially as it was right in the centre of Bayeaux. The home was very clean and contained everything you needed and more. We would absolutely recommend this property and Bayeaux as we spent 9 days enjoying the history, my husband particularly enjoyed D Day museums and a tour we took of the beaches etc. I loved stilling in Bayeaux itself, the local Pâtisserie & restaurants, also enjoyed trips to Honfleur ( a must but very busy) Castle of st Germain de live, Port en Bassin Huppain, and of course Mont saint Michel! A wonderful stay!

Going to Normandy with my 83 year old grandpa was easy and exactly what we had hoped for thanks to Sandra’s location. Great space that was very quiet and private in a beautiful neighborhood, within a walkable distance to the city center. Highly recommend this place for any family to come and enjoy the sights of Normandy!
