Cabin holiday rentals in Beaver Lake

We had an amazing weekend at Lesley's cottage. The cottage itself is beautiful and thoughtfully renovated. We were blown away by the hottub, sauna and deck. What an amazing place to spend a weekend!

Can't say enough praise about this place. I was on the fence when booking this because it was 4 to 5 hour drive from Toronto and we only had 3 day weekend to spare. When we arrived at the place we were astonished by the beauty of it. The place sits on the waterfall between 2 lakes. We were using a canoe and kayaks to explore both lakes. We hiked 2 trails. The nights there are amazing and you can see all the stars. We were offered some fresh harvest from the vegetable garden. We used sauna at night and briefly jumped in to the hot tub. Having neighbors cabins close to ours we were not bothered by any of this, despite some reviews saying that it was noisy. We were absolutely happy in our say. 10/10 would book again if I'm on the east coast of Canada and have a weekend to spare. I wish we could stay there more. Patrick and Amy were friendly and helpful, we had great chats and saw each other on the trails.

We absolutely loved our vacation cabin getaway at Bob and Darlene’s. We had KC to welcome us upon arrival 🐾 Bob and Darlene prepared delicious meals and made sure we were comfortable throughout the duration of our stay. The cabins are warm and cozy. We can’t wait to visit again soon.

I had a great stay with my family for the weekend. All the amenities such as the jacuzzi, board games, and canoes were a plus. We were a group of 10 plus 1 dog, and we all had a lovely time! The only thing I would note is that we got lots of black fly bites despite all the repellant we used but I guess that’s expected for this time of the year. Overall, Dave’s cottage was amazing and would love to come back again!

We wanted to spend some time kayaking in the Shawanaga Archipelago, and when we saw Kim's cottage available in Skerryvore, we knew it would make a great base for our kayaking adventure. The cottage's location on the water in a peaceful lagoon connected to Georgian Bay made for a perfect beginning and ending to each day's paddle. The cottage was very well equipped, included a lot of extra amenities, and provided a cozy place to stay each night. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the evening, eating supper at the picnic table, and even had a campfire one evening in the provided fire pit. Since our focus was exploring the Archipelago, we really appreciated Kim's direction on a few places that we would enjoy while out paddling. As it turned out, we did manage to get to The Hole in the Wall, and to the little waterfall well up the Shawanaga River. Thank you Kim for providing us with a comfortable place to stay, and enhancing our paddling experience with your local knowledge.

It was 5 stars for us . Not likely 5 stars for others . But differnt strokes for differnt folks . We had a great time and its a beautiful spot . We will definitely return

My friends and I all try to meet up once a year for an outdoors getaway now that we are spread across Ontario. This was a central location, so we picked it based on the advertised features and photos. What we arrived to was above and beyond what we could have hoped for. A beautiful and secluded getaway on a forested slice of the French River, with plenty of space to house all 5 of us, cook excellent meals indoors in the kitchen and out on the grill, spend all day either hiking, canoeing/kayaking, or swimming in the river. The hosts were excellent, and helped us haul in (and out) some of our heavier gear. We were even able to hike some instruments in and put on a 5-man band performance, all to ourselves (and whatever woodland creatures ended up hearing us!). The hike in and river-pastimes were a perfect match for our fit and active group, but a quieter experience would have certainly been possible had that been what we were after! All in all, would we come back? YES!

Loved the stay. Stunning location. Coffee pot, kettle, air fryer were out to use. Jessica’s place had everything needed and plenty of room for large groups or families. So much room and cozy. Use of kayaks and comfy covered porch were my favorite part of our stay.

Just finished a lovely Thanksgiving weekend at the cabin. My family of four took in some beautiful nearby walks, did a little fishing, had a few campfires and enjoyed the sauna at the cabin. The surrounding property was so quiet and peaceful. It was a really good place to unplug and just be together. The cabin was super cute and very clean. Had everything we needed to make delicious meals in the evenings. Loved it.

Hi Caitland & Mike, we would like to sincerely thank your family and yourselves for being such awesome hosts at your resort last week! We had such a great time! The cabin was clean and everything went perfect on our stay!! We also enjoyed renting your kayaks and going up the Murdock River as well as the nearby French River! We had never been to this area of Ontario before and always wanted to. Finding this location on the Bay met our requirements for cozy, rugged beautiful surroundings and some fishing. This location is a must visit if you are wanting a peaceful time away. Word of caution, if you are trying to get here on your own an electronic navigation device with charts is a must. I used my phone and the navionics app and we also had a good device on the boat so it was a breeze for us getting in and finding the island even with some misty rain on the way in. Sitting on the west side of the island looking down into west bay at the sunset with a drink was a highlight. Also catching a 20 pound pike was another highlight. Really appreciate this place meeting expectations. Plan on returning next fall for a similar adventure.

This cabin was our home base for five days in early fall, as we hiked and paddled through Killarney Provincial Park and area. We were very comfortable, the place was clean, quiet and peaceful. We could put our kayak in the water right at the cottage, or sit on the outdoor chairs and read, and admire the northern lights at night. It was a short drive into town or to the trails in the area. Michael provided great suggestions and was easy to communicate with. Our cell phones have great data plans, so not having wi-fi was not an issue for us.

Great hosts, beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at this Air BnB. It’s on Wrights Marina with a beautiful view of the water and boats. The cabin is brand new and very clean. The cabin was missing a few of the basics like a proper blind in the main bedroom, scissors, sharp kitchen knife, recycling bin, etc. but we made do and understand they are still getting the cabin set up. The marina staff helped us out with some of the missing items and were great to deal with. We had a great time and would come back!
