Beautiful apartment on the ground floor of Gudrun's house, recently renovated. It is accessed by crossing a magnificent flower garden that is fragrant. It's extremely peaceful, a little paradise. Todtnauer Wasserfall and its skyline are not far away. Other nature walks are possible and Freiburg is less than an hour's drive away. Gudrun was very welcoming. Ideal for a couple who love nature.

Great little private place with everything you needed kitchen and comfortable beds. Surrounded by wonderful environment with forest and wonderful nature and views. Helpful and nice owner. Will be so happy to come back here.

Great place to stay in the Black Forest and is very conveniently located. Next to grocery stores and a couple minutes from the train station. Apartment is very well furnished and has everything needed.

We spent two weeks in the cottage and the stay was very successful. The house is located in the mountains, surrounded by forests - everywhere you can hear birds singing and crickets chirping, a real contact with nature. In the neighboring house, you can buy fresh eggs and delicious honey from the beekeeping. In the forest, we found forest strawberries and blueberries. We rented the lower apartment in June – it was clean, well equipped, with always warm water and even heating for cooler days. At night it was very quiet, although of course that also depends on who rents the upper apartment. On the last day, new vacationers arrived, whose footsteps and conversations could be heard until about 1 a.m. and again in the morning – so it is not a completely secluded place😉. But if you have a deep sleep, we can highly recommend it! The owner is very friendly and helpful. A perfect starting point for hikes, and our dog also had plenty of space. Thank you!
