House holiday rentals in Belize City

Passengers on our flight directed us to the wrong house (Michael has many), but Michael quickly helped get us to the right spot. Terrific location with easy access to everything at a great price.

gorgeous house & the pool is a plus. genuinely have no complaints. It was the best choice for my family and I. We were greeted at the ferry and taken to the house & got a ride back to the ferry at check out. Loved my stay here

This was my third stay at the Tortuga Azul. I’ve come down with friends to dive and relax. The location is very close to the Caulker airport, just a short walk. I would definitely recommend renting a golf cart though. Most of the action in town is a short ride away, and for super early morning dive departures, it’s nice to be able to ride. There is a restaurant basically next door, Suggestion Gourmet. Its not the typical island fare, more of a French place, but it’s the most serene setting. I can’t speak to all of the beds, but the one I’ve slept in every year has been comfortable. The rooms all have individual AC, so you can sleep at your own preferred temp. The property manager, Michael, is quick to respond via What’s App. I will continue to stay at Tortuga for my repeat trips to the island.

We loved our stay at the Sunset Caribbean Cottage. The house was beautiful, relaxing and the pool in front was a huge plus. You definitely need to rent a bike or golf cart to get to the main part of town which was fine with us since we were looking for a quiet and relaxing stay.

Amazing place .. I would highly recommend this accommodation. I was a bit nervous with the limited reviews but don’t worry and book this place. Israel and Mary the hosts were extremely pleasant and helpful with all our needs. You can walk anywhere from the residence . Have no worries when booking this Airbnb.

This place was perfect for our first family vacation in Caye Caulker! Lili and Nina provided excellent communication, answering all our questions and even arranged for a shuttle service from the airport in Belize City to the water taxi and on to the house. So helpful after a red eye flight. We were grateful for their assistance and enjoyed all the amenities Tiki House offered. The kayaks, bicycles and swimming pool were put to good use. Also helpful were the local recommendations that we also enjoyed. Our family of 4 highly recommend staying here!!

My husband and I, along with two family members got displaced because our flight came in late and we wouldn't make it to the boat to the island. We booked Mr. James last minute and I'm so glad we fell upon this place. very calm, beautiful yard, Ac works great and love all the amenities. Mr. James is super helpful, very respectable and very responsive. it was the best remedy after being delayed and spending all day in the airport. Definitely would be back to this peaceful yard.

We started our trip in Belize at Howler House and it was the best decision. The house was so unique and right on the banks of the river. We spent every night on the deck in the hammock and chairs taking in the surrounding nature. My kids loved the new pool - and spent a few hours there playing. The biggest highlight was the wildlife. There is a small crocodile in the tiny lagoon near the cabins. We ironically named him ‘Big Al’. We also saw a family of howler monkeys right outside our place - swinging from the trees right off our deck. We stayed in the older blue cabin (there are now newer options). And while it wasn’t the fanciest - it met all our needs and felt so different. A huge thanks to Shanna for being a great host. For those who love adventure I cannot recommend Howler House enough!

Great place for the price. Nice secluded location. Only problem was it was difficult to find, but Denise was responsive and came and helped us.

Paradise! Look no further, best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Angela’s place is brand new and perfectly situated where you can see every sunrise and sunset, is quiet, and better priced than anywhere else we looked in Belize, especially for the house amenities and private beachfront. From the start, you can tell Angela and Amie truly care that your vacation is perfect, great recommendations, and helpful, like arranging transportation, I’m sure they will both be Super-hosts soon! I loved the iguanas, sting rays, and pelicans that you could see on site, from the beach or dock. The kayaks were amazing, and the water is so crystal clear. The north side of the split is way better, much quieter, easier to walk, and less touristy than the water taxi/airport side. I can see why Caye Caulker and the airbnb is Angie’s happy place, it is my happy place as well, and I cannot wait to go back!

Debra was the most amazing host!! so helpful and gave me so many great ideas of where I could go and things to do. Her exceeded my expectations and I just felt so comfortable and so safe and I will most definitely stay again and I can honestly say that this place is amazing and you will not be disappointed! We had a wonderful stay! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and conveniently located within walking distance of everything we needed. It’s hosted by a warm and welcoming local family, which made the experience feel even more special. Excellent value for the price. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for a week and it was perfect for our family of 4. The rooms were big and there were multiple places to set up our belongings. We loved sitting on the porch in the hammocks after settling in for the evening. The house is close to several bars and restaurants so even with people walking around the house at all hours, it still felt fairly quiet and private since you stay on the 2nd floor. Amelia was very responsive and accommodating. She brought fresh towels mid-way through our trip and was very helpful with giving an overview of the area when we checked in. We would stay here again and highly recommend to others.

Carolyn was a caring host . She offered so much helpful information. With her exceptional local connections, like : she knows taxi drivers, tour guides, rental car owner’s wife , we found things are easy. Her unit has very beautiful set up with fine furniture, comfortable bedding. We enjoyed our stay there .

We absolutely loved our stay at Birdhouses! Lucrecia was an incredibly attentive host who went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. She personally arranged transport to and from the airport, helped us get back to Belize City, and connected us with her trusted taxi drivers. We also loved all the recommendations we got from her — they really helped us make the most of our time. Her Airbnb is quiet, private, and filled with spectacular views and the relaxing songs of birds. It’s the perfect place to unwind and feel close to nature. Highly recommend!

The house is a nice hangout. There is a nice big table for playing card games or hanging out and two big hammocks on the deck. The shower water doesn't get very warm. This was fine after walking around and getting sweaty. It's a good walk to the split. We got our steps in, but it was conveniently close to a grocery store. If you walk to the split in the evening, keep a close eye on your wallet. Very small child thieves abound.

This little house is among the top places I have ever rented. It’s the perfect size for 2 people, especially since we both had remote work we needed to do. The view from the bedroom and balcony was a balm to the soul. Having my morning tea or coffee in the morning on the balcony while watching the neighbors bike to work or take a jog with the birds foraging for breakfast is something I wish I could do every day. It’s so peaceful at this end of the island, yet very easy to walk into town. There is a little restaurant just steps away, behind the airport, too, where we got a very good meal. If I come back to Caye Caulker I would stay here without another thought.

We wanted a spot close to the airport, so leaving would be easy, and this place fit the bill perfectly. The house is clean and comfy. The authentic neighborhood is pretty rustic/industrial, so plan to drive or take a taxi for meals, or follow host recommendations for delivery.

I had such a wonderful time during my stay! I really appreciated having a washer and dryer, along with shampoo, conditioner, and lotion readily available. It felt so nice to have two TVs and two air conditioning units—it made my stay super comfy! I even invited my family over for lunch, and they were so accommodating when I asked if it was okay to have guests. The bed was incredibly comfortable; I had the best sleep! Additionally, the location is fantastic—so close to the airport that you can easily walk over. I noticed some pretty lively activities nearby starting around 9 AM, but otherwise, it was quite peaceful. I can't wait for my next visit to this lovely place!

My wife and I stayed for 5days in May 2025 (HOT) lucrecia is a fantastic host. Very quick to respond had excellent recommendations. The location is fantastic, far enough out for privacy but short bike ride to everything. Definitely will be coming back. Thank You
