Guesthouse holiday rentals in Belize

We stayed in a 2 full bed suite. The suite was very clean and cute, though a bit small for four people (two adults, two kids). The White Horse Guest House itself was located right on the beach with palm trees that provide shade, lounge chairs and hammocks for guests. There was a kayak and other beach stuff that we enjoyed using. A lot of dining options were in a close proximity, and a supermarket was right next to the place. The music from a nearby night club was a bit loud, but it was ok. Overall, we really liked the place and would stay there again.

A great price, great location, great communication and very clean! With a secure place to park our car and a walk away from the ocean for our morning meditation. We would definitely stay here again.

Louise was amazing and very accommodating. The supplied bikes where more than enough to get around the island. Louise is a person I would share drinks with.

The White Horse Inn is adorable. I think it's more picturesque from the outside than the photos let on. We did have some trouble finding the host when we arrived (there did not appear to be an easily identifiable reception desk), and therefore took a while to be able to access our room, but this was no problem because we spent that time on the beach immediately outside the hotel. The location is spectacular -- mere meters from the water, with spotless sand and coconut trees with lounge chairs. Ella's Cool Spot is great for food. The AC works great in the rooms, as does the hot water. We would absolutely stay here again.

Loved my stay! I was traveling alone and felt very safe here, Diana and Crystal were welcoming and fantastic hostesses. They’re very friendly and provided great advice and instructions for the area. The room was lovely, nestled in the top of their trees as pictured with a great variety of birds that were fun and relaxing to watch. The room was as pictured, you may see a gecko or an ant but that’s to be expected in this location. Thank you very much Diana and Crystal for sharing your beautiful space!

Private room, cold A/C, easy check in, nice shaded property. It is near the airport, so be advised the flights come and go around 7am and 8am everyday. Theres also construction ongoing in the area as well, so bring earplugs. Great dive shops close by, and a beer on arrival. Not too bad.

I had a wonderful time. The location was a minute walk from the beach. Rudy, the host, was polite and easygoing. This allowed for very smooth and entertaining conversations. The place was clean, comfortable and private. If I visit Corozal Town again, I would definitely stay at Rudy's place.

This was a good place to stay during our first week in Belize. I had to work and the Internet connectivity is strong. The golf cart culture is a bit strange, but you'll need one to get to Secret Beach. We rented one for a day for $50 dollars. The location is close enough to walk to the other side of the bridge for the restaurants and activities the area has to offer. If you like golf carts, great, but you can find more nooks and crannies walking and it's also less stressful once you get away from the traffic.

A great place to stay. It's in a quiet and peaceful part of town. And a super friendly host.

My first visit to Belize turned out to be an amazing experience and huge success largely due to the assistance that was provided by the hosts. I've had many Airbnb's and some really good hosts but these guys are the best. Very proactive and communicated well prior to travel, upon check in and throughout my stay. They are as good as it gets. The property was amazing, spotless, didn't see a single bug. The pool was well maintained and very clean. I will definitely be visiting again.

Hosts are responsive to requests, inquiries, and any issues. We have stayed here several times and enjoy it.

This place was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed the hammock and the wildlife noises on the deck every night! It was easy to find and the hosts were very easy to get ahold of and clearly communicated. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Cocos Cabanas was perfect! Both cabanas were exactly as pictured, very clean and cozy. Enjoyed sitting on the porch with the sound of the waves and ocean breeze blowing. The pool was welcome after long days in the sun. Location was an easy drive to restaurants and other activities. Jean was a great host-very responsive and great communication. We hope to be able to stay here again in the future.

We were so fortunate to find this place last minute when we had some travel delays. Pamela was on top of the communication and Rudolph went above and beyond. Location was quiet and on site backyard area was beautiful.

The bungalows are just as described and incredibly well-constructed and clean (not always true in Belize!). Quiet, beautiful view and pool, and Joe was super helpful and friendly. I felt terrible when I took a fall and turned out to have a broken foot, and he was so gracious and drove us to the local clinic for x-rays and care. We were sorry to cut the trip short, but we will definitely return and feel like we made an amazing connection with Joe and Laura in what could become our retirement destination. We highly recommend this tranquil resort and thoughtful hosts.

Absolutely perfect. Cute colorful Cabaña right on a gorgeous beach. And inside: everything we needed (a lot of airbnbs are missing hooks, shelves, little things like paper towel, coffee or condiments- they had everything and more! For example luggage scale or mini rechargeable reading light. Walking distance to everything in town (tiny village Hopkins) Strongly recommend!

The photos do not do it justice! It is surrounded by the jungle, and you will need a car, but you should have one in this area anyway. The place is immaculate, Sonia was fantastic, every need was met. The pool is perfect for a dip after a hot day of adventures. We hope to return here again and again.

My stay at Samantha's Place was one to remember. I enjoyed the view, the sea breeze and the environment. It was worth it.

Such an amazing stay! Host was super responsive and the workers were amazing. I 100% recommend this beautiful and amazing beach house. Surroundings were perfect and the house was so comfy and made us feel right at home. Will be coming back here every time I have a a large group visiting the islands. Thank you for the amazing stay!

This house is amazing, very cozy family atmosphere, it has a full kitchen with all of the things you need for cooking. I’m sure some stuff is what people leave behind and it’s left to be use by others, It has washer and dryer, they had 5 gallon of drinking water, It has access to the Poseidon beach, all to yourself, it has a deck on the lagoon, it has kayaks and paddle boards, grocery store within 10 minute drive. Downtown Placencia about 30 minutes drive. If you’re outdoor person, you know what to do to protect yourself from mosquitoes. If you’re not an outdoor person, make sure you have bug spray, outdoor clothing, I would suggest at least short sleeve shirts, light weight pants, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses. Also forget good cellphone service, it’s kind of spotty. Well that’s all folks. Enjoy this house and your vacation.

The space was awesome. The jungle was wonderful. Kate and the others onsite were great fun.
