This place was amazing!! You cannot beat the location! We ending our honeymoon here and we were impressed! The owner and staff here was really friendly! They really tried hard to cater to our needs and made us feel comfortable! The food they cooked for us was all really good too! Make sure to ask for the banana bread and fresh conch ceviche!! They did a bbq for us the day my husband had his guided fishing trip(which was set up through the island) and it was sooo delicious! I loved every second of our stay! I will be recommending this place for years to come!

Therapy Cabin 2 at St. George's Caye

We had a fantastic stay! We were the only ones renting at the time, making it quite lovely to have the place ourselves. Emily is a fantastic cook, so I recommend planning at least a few meals through the host. If you do your own food, plan your meals (the host can take you shopping before leaving) because it costs for the boat ride to get more supplies. Belle and Bruno were the best four-legged hosts, so if you love large dogs, you will enjoy them as we did. They swim out to play with the dolphins pretty much daily! Eugene has a wealth of knowledge about what to do and see; he is your best resource. The young lad Omar helped with everything, including showing me how to fish.

We had a great time! We spent 3 nights there and there were a lot of positives. Very friendly staff, about 5 men who were the host, waiters, chef, maintenance crew. Some made an effort to know us by name, which felt extra welcoming. The island itself does feel a bit small after the 3rd day. It was my friend and I traveling (late 20s) and we snorkeled, kayaked, read, and played the many lawn games available. I wouldn’t recommend this as a honeymoon-style destination personally. Midday some party boats or fishing tour boats would stop by and often the music was bumping, drinks flowing. Didn’t bother us, but I could see this bothering someone looking for a “private island” experience. The boats left before sunset though and the evenings were peaceful. We had lots of rain and high wind, which took away from the joy of the island, but that’s out of their control of course. The food was delicious! Saw lots of sea life around the island, like manta ray, nurse shark, lobster.

Once in a lifetime splurge. Amazing experience. At times, we had the island to ourselves - what a dream! We loved it. Fantastic service. Very friendly, helpful, outdid themselves to serve with a smile. Ready to accommodate any request. Very grateful to Marari, skips-and-smiles Chamaine, Akeem the builder who taught our son to remove a conch from its shell, Chef Hilly who can cook anything, Calvin who served with a smile. Picked our own food, they learned what we liked, taught us some cooking. Facilities were great. Power and water were fine. Even better than in the pictures. A couple of things to note before you come. Snorkeling is beautiful, equipment is limited, e.g. short fins and limited selection. You may wish to bring your own. No beverages are included in meals. Food seemed expensive but in the end, it wasn't exorbitant. Island is ~$BZ 250 to get to/from.

King Lewey's Island Resort Yellowtail Cabana

King Lewey's Island Resort was a beautiful oasis in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Only accessable by boat, you are guaranteed to hear ocean waves crashing outside of your cabana and feel the sea breeze inside of it. There is a bar/restaurant, 4 cabanas, and plenty of fun located around the island. While there are only 4 cabanas, we were surprised to see how popular the island was when we arrived. There is day access to the island, so a fair amount of people explore during the day. By night time, and early in the morning, the only people on the island have rented out the cabanas. Food and drinks were a little expensive, but everything was delicious and came with large portion sizes. We even had a live lobster for dinner that came from right outside of our cabana. Not authentic Belize culture, but an island playground for adults and children.
