Cottage holiday rentals in Bellano

Siamo stati alla cascina per un Natale in famiglia. Gli alloggi e gli spazi hanno largamente superato le aspettative di tutti gli ospiti. Tutte le camere hanno un bagno, e la cucina e' eccezionale, provvista di tutto. La tavolata era stata preparata con cura e stile, e c'era ampio spazio per far giocare i bambini. Gli spazi comuni sono perfino provvisti di un camino e fuori c'e' un giardino con qualche gioco. Il patio, assolato di mattina, ha sedie bianche. Giovanna e' stata accogliente e gentile nel soddisfare ogni nostra domanda o richiesta e il luogo e' davvero speciale. Consigliatissimo.

Luca and Marina and their beautiful property could not be any better than it was. We experienced some rain while we were there and we even loved that! They welcomed us so graciously, like family, yet respected our privacy at all times. We were on our honeymoon at age 67 and 68 yrs old and it was both our first time to Italy. We both thought the home was just gorgeous and immaculately and thoughtfully apportioned, both inside and out and actually much more beautiful than even their pictures show. They prepared a wonderful welcome meal that was better than some of the restaurants we tried. The climate was so comfortable that we slept every nite with the windows and doors open, listening to the relaxing waterfall and rain and it was some of the best sleep we've had on any trip we've been on. We will miss this place and plan on returning here as often as we can! Book it!! If you love beautiful countrysides, beautiful landscaping, wonderful Italian people- this is it!

Das kleine Haus besticht durch seine optimale Lage mit gradiosem Panoramablick auf den Comer See und die Berge von der Terrasse aus, dem eigenen Garten, der direkten Strandlage und dem eigenen Pool, der im Gegensatz zu den Fotos noch verbessert wurde. Ansonsten geben die Bilder einen realistischen Eindruck wieder. Man muss wissen, dass das Haus wirklich klein ist und es direkt an der in der Hauptsaison sicherlich recht belebten Strandpromenade liegt; also man sitzt auf der Terrasse sozusagen fast auf dieser Strandpromenade, die aber nur für Fußgänger zugänglich ist. Dafür ist es dann aber auch nur ein paar Schritte zum Ufer und hinten raus hat man ja auch noch den schönen Garten und einen kleinen Pool ganz für sich allein. Und in der Nebensaison dürfte dies ohnehin kein Problem sein, es ist alles sehr idyllisch. Daher ist die Unterkunft ein wirkliches kleines Paradies und vermutlich die beste in der direkten Umgebung. Auch unser Hund war sehr willkommen und hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Möblierung könnte ein wenig anspruchsvoller sein angesichts des Preises, andererseits macht die phänomenale Lage dies locker wett. Die Kommunikation mit Rita war hervorragend und unkompliziert und wir können diese Unterkunft daher von ganzem Herzen empfehlen. Wir sind sehr froh, dieses Schmuckstück gefunden zu haben.

Der Aufenthalt im Rustico war super! Es wurde für uns sogar ein Babybett in die 1. Etage trotz schmaler Treppe installiert. Ich werde die Unterkunft sicherlich weiterempfehlen. Der Garten ist auch in der Dunkelheit Dank der guten Beleuchtung benutzbar.

We had a fantastic time staying in Dervio at Francesco’s place and exploring the towns surrounding lake Como. The place is perfect for so many reasons, the location is great, right on a small beach with amazing views and a walking path that takes you into town. It’s a short 7 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to downtown area with restaurants. There are tons of old walkways that allow you to explore the area. We spent a couple days taking the train and ferry to Bellano, Veranna, and Bellagio (very happy to be in Dervio). We also have two small kids and found the place was great for families with crib, beds with guard rails, and a high chair, along with a playground that just out the front door. The gates were excellent for preventing kids from going to the road or to the lake. The best part was Francesco and his family, they are very warm and welcoming! We spent time with him, his father, aunt, and cousin and very much enjoyed getting to know them!

Sonia's Airbnb is breathtaking. The view of Lake Como is even more beautiful than the photos in the listing. Sonia is a wonderful host - she provides recommendations, answered all of my questions and always made sure that we had everything we needed. I wished we had explored the lake with her on her sailboat so if you get the opportunity I would book it! The only thing I would advise future renters is that the road to Sonia's Airbnb in Brunate is VERY, VERY narrow and winds around and around. It is very easy to get lost and go down the wrong street. If you're renting car, try to get the smallest car possible - it will help you to maneuver the narrows roads. There is a funicular stop close to the house so you could walk there and take it to Como or to the top of Brunate. It is much easier to get off at the top of Brunate and walk downhill to the house. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway.

Une très belle semaine passée en famille dans les hauteurs et la fraîcheur (bienvenue!) du lac de Côme et de la magnifique ville de Varenna. Le logement se situe dans un écrin de nature. Nous avons eu la surprise de découvrir un jacuzzi ! Les extérieurs sont très agréables et bien équipés ( salon de jardin, chaises longues) . L intérieur est très conforme à la description. Un bon emplacement pour découvrir à la journée le lac de Côme. nous avons également passé une journée à Milan en prenant le train à Varenna. Patrizia à été très réactive à toutes demandes d infos.

The location of the cottage was as wonderful as the pictures suggest, you're far enough from the waters edge to have a sprawling view, and close enough that nothing interrupted the view. Cinzia was very responsive and helpful and the added touches (pastries/wine) were much appreciated. Nesso is beautiful little spot, it can get reasonably busy because of the waterfall and the road from Como to Bellagio is rarely quiet (although we couldn't hear it from the bungalow). Be prepared for some hilly steps though, we clocked up 110 floors of climbing one day (for info, the Twin Towers were also 110 floors!). We found and Cinzia recommended a wonderful restaurant called Il Briisa which we would go back to in a heartbeat. The food, wine, service and ambience were all spot on. Overall, fantastic, it was a surprise break for my wife's 40th birthday and it delivered perfectly.

Alles war zu vollsten Zufriedenheit. Die Aussicht aus Garten und vom Balkon ist grandios. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Haus ist für 4 Erwachsene und einen riesigen Hund schön geräumig. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Wir haben das Haus ( laut Anschrift) nicht auf Anhieb gefunden ...ich war schon bei Google Maps verwundert,als ich via albonico 2 eingab. Diese Anschrift ist ein paar hundert Meter weiter...aber letztendlich alles gefunden 👍 wir fanden die Ruhe nach einem Sightseeing -Tag einfach herrlich. das Haus können wir zu 100% weiterempfehlen!

Die Unterkunft liegt am Hang eines Berges am Comer See, dementsprechend serpentinenreich ist die Auffahrt. Spätestens nach dem dritten Mal ist hier aber der Dreh raus. Nachdem auf dem öffentlichen Parkplatz eine Lücke gefunden wurde - was erstaunlicherweise immer gut geklappt hat - geht es durch die verwinkelten Gassen von Caino zur Unterkunft. Andreas hat hier eine bebilderte Anleitung, die wir aber nicht gleich gesehen haben. Ein netter Einwohner konnte uns aber trotzdem direkt aushelfen. Der Checkin klappt per PIN-Eingabe auf dem Türschloss - in der Wohnküche liegt dann direkt eine „Begrüßungsmappe“, die keine Fragen offen lässt. Zur eigentlichen Wohnung: Exakt wie auf den Bildern; alles - aber wirklich alles - blitzblank sauber. Ein besonderes Highlight ist hier die Dachterrasse mit Blick auf den See und Colico. Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag: Fliegengitter für alle Fenster, teilweise sind die aber vorhanden. Alles in allem: Wenn am Comer See, dann in dieser Ferienwohnung :)

I very much enjoyed how cozy the location was with my two friends. However, I did not realize how much of a hike it would be to the cottage as well as the fact that the upstairs could only be reached through the outside.

Liebe Deborah, ich danke euch für die tolle Zeit in diesem schönen Häuschen. Ich konnte die kurze Auszeit bei euch in vollen Zügen genießen. Die Aussicht auf der Terrasse ist überragend! 😊 Ich habe mich von Anfang an sehr wohl und vor allem willkommen gefühlt. Diese Unterkunft ist absolut zu empfehlen! Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war von Beginn an sehr freundlich und herzlich. Keine Frage blieb unbeantwortet. Ich habe tolle Tipps für Wanderungen und Restaurants erhalten. In unmittelbarer Nähe vom Haus starten tolle Wanderwege, unter Anderem, zu zwei Wasserfällen! Herzlichen Dank für die tolle Zeit! 🤗

We had a wonderful stay here! The bedrooms were very clean, each room had AC which is a luxury a lot of times and the bathrooms were spotless. Almost felt like a lux hotel but nice to have 3/4 rooms connect as it made us feel at home. Sergio was an amazing host, providing us with breakfast and cappuccinos daily. Everything was delicious we wish we could’ve have stayed longer! So we will definitely look at coming back!

Saveria's chalet is cosy and has a beautiful view of the lake. It's private with a fenced garden, so our dog enjoyed it too. The path leading up to the chalet was no problem for us at all. Definitely recommend this place for the views and surroundings.

Giulia und ihr Großvater, der uns in Empfang genommen hat, sind unglaublich herzliche und freundliche Menschen, die auch weit über die üblichen Höflichkeiten hinaus für ihre Gäste da sind. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und alle (sehr wenigen) offenen Frage wurden sofort beantwortet. (Ja, der Parkplatz vorm Haus ist sicher. Und der Weg zu den leckeren Restaurants war schnell und leicht erklärt.) Die Gegend ist umwerfend schön und wer gerne in der Natur ist, findet hier alles, was das Herz begehrt. Ob gemütlicher Abend am (vom Nonno bereits vorbereiteten) Kamin oder Wanderungen direkt vom Haus („Achtung“ - hinterm Haus beginnt gleich ein wunderbarer Mountainbike Trail); in der abgeschiedenen ruhigen Lage findet man schnell die Ruhe und Entspannung, die der Ort verspricht. Giulia ist absolut unkompliziert und entgegenkommen. Ich würde sagen, dass dies bis jetzt der schönste Airbnb-Aufenthalt war.

Wir haben uns in Mauras Steinhaus von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Haus ist einzigartig. Es hat so viel Charme und jedes Detail ist liebevoll ausgesucht! Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Maura hat uns alles genauestens erklärt. Wir haben jede Minute genossen und kommen sehr gerne wieder! Vielen Dank liebe Maura!

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderfully relaxed stay at Davide’s place. The villa was very spacious and private with a wonderful outdoor sitting room and kitchen (with same indoors). Everything we needed was available on arrival - water, tea, coffee, bathroom accessories, etc., Porlezza is a gorgeous walkable town beside stunning Lake Lugano. Highly recommended!

Nice private house in a lovely village! Recommend! Friendly and helpful hosts. Plan your trip well, supermarkets are not easily accessible, and most restaurant closed very early in the evening.

The house is lovely, spotless, and offers a breathtaking lake view. It’s well equipped with high quality towels, toiletries, and a super comfortable bed. Communication with the host was smooth and pleasant throughout. We appreciated the thoughtful extras like pastries, jam, granola, cornflakes, and olive oil, which made us feel very welcome. The check-in/out process, especially the mandatory property inspection at checkout, was a bit inconvenient and added some pressure. While the manager was kind and helpful with great local tips, the timing adjustment was tricky. Overall, a very positive stay. We highly recommend this charming, comfortable place in a stunning location.

This was a fabulous spot to stay on Lake Como. We couldn’t have picked better. It was such a luxury having the garden and being able to swim privately in the lake every morning and afternoon. Once we parked the car we didn’t need to use it again as the place is bang in the walkable centre of all we wanted to see. The first day we walked 15 mins north to Tremezzo where we got the ferry over to Bellagio (which we found heavily touristic but our teens enjoyed all the shops) and we enjoyed the gardens of Villa Melzi . The second day we walked 15 mins south to lovely Lenno - so pretty the waterside promenade and Villa Balbianello. The third day to Tremezzo and Villla Carlotta - lots of Villas! If we didn’t have our teens with us we would have had cocktails in the grand hotel in Tremezzo and we also would have eaten at the lovely restaurant in Azzano (looked like a real foodies haven). The house had such character and was tucked quietly away from the main road. And the views - incredible!
