We had a great time in this relaxing, soothing home. The house is very spacious, which is very comfortable and everyone can have independent and isolated rest areas both indoors and outdoors. This building is really worth knowing about. Nina and Axel are very organized and efficient in giving all the instructions and in an ultra-fast way. We recommend this stone house combining charm and character.

Great place for exploring the Dordogne countryside and surrounding areas. The house with a nice outdoor terrace with dining table and seating allowing us to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area and to listen to the birdsong. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen was well equipped and we lacked for nothing. We booked very late and Pauline was very helpful and accommodating of our requirements, and the communication was excellent with lots of suggestions of things to do and places to go.

We had a great stay at the Maison des Tilleuls. Cécile is very welcoming and we immediately felt at home. The house is nice with a large living room, which is nice because we were 3 couples. The garden is huge and very pretty. It's a haven of peace. It is fenced, which is appreciable with dogs. Several places with tables and garden furniture. Gourmet basket on arrival. Fabulous gite in a gorgeous setting.

A charming cottage very close to st emilion town and very close to the station. Sophie was very kind to pick us up and really helpful with suggestions on good restaurants and places to visit. She was very responsive to every request. We really enjoyed our time there. Thanks for being a great host Sophie. I highly recommend this place.

Accommodation as advertised, very responsive, flexible and accommodating hosts. Very well located for visiting Bergerac and the surroundings. Small friendly guide on arrival and by email, I really highly recommend this accommodation with my eyes closed. Thank you to our hosts for this stay, it was very nice! We absolutely loved Pierre’s wonderful property, it was a perfect two night stopover for us. The property has so much rustic character and has been renovated very tastefully, has everything you need. It was also great not to have a television for two days for a change. We would highly recommend and will definitely stay again next time we are travelling to Spain.

Our stay at the beautifully renovated and well appointed stone gîte was very pleasant. It is surrounded by extensive gardens including a clean and private pool .Sean and Bridget gave us a warm welcome and provided us with recommendation for places to go and things to do. What a great place to relax and enjoy the Périgord countryside.

Serge’s place is amazing. We spent a lovely 10 days there in May and it was exactly what we were looking for. It’s walking distance into the village which has everything you need, and the place itself is clean, well appointed and in a beautiful setting with its own lake. Serge was so responsive and kind to us during the stay too - he went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!

House with a lot of character, very well equipped and very beautiful potential perfectly exploited. Laurence and Jean-Michel are very welcoming, considerate and available. Jean-Michel, a passionate bakery enthusiast, has concocted excellent pastries and bread for our breakfast. (Order on request). Ideal place to spend a very good time relaxing. Many picturesque villages to visit in the surrounding area. Thank you to them, and I look forward to returning.

Very lovely place with a beautiful view

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

Perfect stay at Lizzie and Pascal's. The place is beautiful and peaceful and the welcome is very friendly. Our little attic was very cozy and very pleasant! Perfect for our stay! The location is very central between Bergerac, Sarlat and Périgueux but also close to the beautiful different villages of the region. We had trouble leaving!

We spent two beautiful evenings in the heart of "Gigi" and Yannick's property. Another very nice meeting in this little corner of Périgord that we did not know. The cottage is perfect, well-equipped, very comfortable bedding. And the setting, in the middle of the vineyards managed by Quentin today, is beautiful and so peaceful. We'll definitely come back for a longer stay. Of course we were able to enjoy the pool, a tasting of very good wines and good advice from Yannick. Great stay, thanks to our great hosts!

That's why we love AirBnB; great revitalized, beautiful house in a quiet rural area. We enjoyed the great pool, the good cheese from the nearby cheese dairy and the excellent red wine on the terrace. And our dogs were welcome.

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

Our stay was a lovely dream. The outdoor kitchen and pretty garden with bath was a place you might envisage in a fantasy. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates. Although the weather was unusually hot we were nice and cool within the traditional thick stone walls of the house. It was wonderful to sit in the garden and watch the canoes floating round the bend of the the winding Dordogne river. We are very grateful for the experience. Thank you Steve and Eve. A little corner of paradise at the end of the world😊. Perfect for relaxing away from the hustle and bustle. Small touches on arrival that are very pleasant, very easy communication with Olivier, the accommodation is very functional, very well thought out and equipped. Rest assured, you will have a great time.

The reception was very pleasant. The house was clean and ideal to stay with our dog. The region was quiet, not touristy, so perfect for relaxing. Swimming pool was definitely a plus as everything is private and reasonably well shielded. There was more present than the basics. The air conditioners were also a big plus during the very hot days. We enjoyed our stay! The only small downside is that the swimming pool is downstairs in the garden and you can only get there from outside or through the garage/basement.

Accommodation completely in line with the description and impeccably clean! Very pleasant exterior, all in a quiet neighborhood and with air conditioning, essential in hot weather. It was perfect and if I'm in Bergerac again, I won't hesitate!
