Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Big Sur

Lovely place on the edge of town. Could walk (long) or drive. So much attention to detail. Kitchen was well appointed including meat thermometer, other gadgets and blender. Full sized washer and dryer. Pool and hot tub in working order. Table with fire pit. Beautiful views for organize and sunset. Great common space and play areas. I wish we knew when the sprinklers came on so we didn’t get wet but it was a good laugh. Thanks for making our vacation so enjoyable.

Our family stayed here while attending the wedding of a local friend and had a wonderful visit. Many of our events were far from town and this location was perfect for us as we planned to cook our breakfasts and lunches here. The kitchen has everything you could need and if you forget a few things the store is about a 15 minute drive. The house is very comfortable with room for everyone to spread out. Beds are very comfortable and there are lots of games to keep everyone busy during down time. The Jacuzzi is an added benefit as well as the nice yard and patio. Perfect for hanging out with your doggo and family. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend the Ranchette!

This was our 3rd stay in Nick and Lauren’s home in Atascadero. We love it here for all its comfort, amenities, cleanliness, privacy, and peace and quiet. If you are looking for a home away from home, you’ve found the perfect place to vacation and I highly recommend it. We are excited to return, again, in the fall. This was the perfect location to explore the town. The house was well put together. The host was very responsive and very kind. I would come here again, if I get to visit the area in the future :)

Our family had a wonderful time soaking in the spectacular mountain views and embracing nature’s beauty. We loved our unexpected encounters with the local deer family, watching quail cross the streets, and discovering fascinating California native plants. Surprise to find items we need in the pantry and refrigerator, made us feel right at home. The comfortable mattresses and bedding ensured a restful sleep, even with the mysterious sounds of the wild surrounding the house at night. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Emma’s place was truly a home away from home! We came here for my birthday/our anniversary trip and loved it. The place was like a peaceful beach cottage, and the hosts were so thoughtful. You could see the effort that went into building this place. The living room, bedroom, bathroom were all so nice- the outdoor area and little office were great. We loved the hot tub and even ate our dinner in the backyard. It could be helpful to know that the house is on a corner of a street and you can hear cars clearly driving by at night, however, the neighborhood is so peaceful and quiet otherwise! We would stay here again because of the central location and coziness of the house! (:

We were almost sorry to stay for only two nights. The place is just about perfect, with an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen and any amenity you might need (possible exception is a/c, but it wasn’t very warm during our stay). The traffic died down at night , making it a quiet place to sleep. Particularly nice is the immediate proximity of the bay tail: perfect for a morning run or an evening stroll. Oriel was very proactive communicating, and we never had any uncertainty about anything. Highly recommended: we would stay there again anytime!

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend at Fidel’s place and it was truly a wonderful stay. It was very close to Monterey and Carmel. The apartment was well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom and everything was very nice and neat. I would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely book again!

My wife and I absolutely loved this place, and it was the perfect home base to explore up and down the coast. The apartment is VERY VERY well appointed, and is an INCREDIBLE value for all that Ali provides. If you are looking for a private and quiet place to get-a-way, then this is the place for you! We also loved getting daily messages with recommendations for activities, and we even did a few of them! If you are a walker, then I would recommend taking a walk around the neighborhood, we even saw several deer on our first night out. Also, make sure you take the "secret" trail down in San Simeon - that was the best! Thank you, Ali, for creating such great place to stay- we loved the beach vibe!

Aimee is a generous and helpful host. We felt most welcome. The apartment and outside facilities are excellent. We enjoyed the firepit. Its also a very pleasant village and area. Great stay!

Nice hot tub and gas fireplace which we enjoyed every night! Our son is a surfer so we walked a couple blocks to the bluff to watch him. Great restaurants in the area and sites (surfing museum) to see. Abbot Square was a good venue to eat and enjoy music.

Everything was great! The place looked exactly like the photos—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Communication with the host was smooth and fast throughout. Would definitely stay here again!

I had a fantastic stay! The place was spotlessly clean upon arrival, which made settling in super comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent—quick, clear, and helpful throughout. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking supplies I needed, so making dinner was a breeze. On top of that, the location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach. Highly recommend!

Judy's place was Awesome! This hideaway was quiet, romantic, and so lovely. Judy greeted us while we were checking in, as she was tending to her horses nearby. She checked in to see if we needed anything, and was so responsive. The location is less than 10 minutes from town, but you're a world away from the hustle and bustle, hearing the geese, walking around the lake, seeing the bunnies, deer, and other wildlife. The Carriage House had every amenity we needed, and more! We will definitely book here the next time we come to Paso. Thanks, Judy, for being a great hostess!

Excellent place to stay. It was nice to walk up to the top of the hill to look at the beautiful views of the rolling Hills and other Vineyards. We had our dogs with us, and they also loved the small yard and being able to explore.

Everything was prepared in the best order, staying at Jeanette and Alex's house was a real pleasure. Peace and quiet. Alex is a real horse enthusiast, it is a great pleasure to listen to him and spend time with animals. I highly recommend the place to families with children. The dogs on the farm are super friendly and cuddly. If you are thinking about a quiet weekend or longer, you have found a great place!

Amazing property, very private and fantastic for a few days getaway. Pristine untouched Nature, herds of deer and rich wildlife. Close to a good variety of attractions if necessary. We really enjoyed a few days with family off the grid. The house is beautifully decorated and clean, the kids loved the loft. Kelli was very responsive and had a lots of good recommendations.

We had a great stay at this cozy cabin in the Redwoods. What a beautiful location, of course the pictures do not do it justice. Literally nestled in the center of towering redwoods. The kids loved the swingset, art room, game room and of course exploring the yard for banana slugs. The cabin was much bigger than we expected, we definitely plan on returning in the future. This is our third stay at this property, and it met our expectations once again. It was a great place to wake up to every single morning to hear so many birds chirping around the yard. The bed is so comfortable, that I had my best sleep the first night in a long time. Thanks again for letting us stay at this wonderful property, we cannot wait to be back!

We had THE BEST stay at Paige’s cabin in Felton. I can it say enough great things about Paige’s responsiveness and flexibility — from early check-in to allowing some friends to come over for a BBQ. Paige was so reasonable and accommodating, and super quick with her responses! The cabin itself was perfect for us. The proximity to Henry Cowell and downtown Felton couldn’t have been better. Surrounded by redwoods, with multiple outdoor seating options, this spot was exactly what we were looking for. We had fires in the wood burning stove in the chilly mornings and bonfires at night. The cabin is beautifully appointed, and the thoughtfulness and attention-to-detail was next level. We will be back! We’ve decided Paige’s cabin will be our place every time we’re in town. Thank you for such a great stay!
