Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Big Sur

Great place to stretch out and relax, with so much natural light that we rarely needed to turn on the overhead lights. We enjoyed cozying up in front of the fireplace and hanging out on the back porch. The well-stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. The house is in a lovely neighborhood with an easy walk to the beach. Easy to access the heart of town on foot or by car. My only note would be to bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper, as one of the bedrooms is next to a busy road.

The copper nest was a great place to stay for our long weekend trip. It was ideally situated 30mins drive from UCSC. The beach house exceeded our expectations, and comfortably accommodated 8 guests. All aspects had been thought about by the host, from the detailed text messages pre arrival through to the prevision of supplies, saving the immediate necessity to go basic food shopping. The house was pleasantly furnished with high end product and the beds were so comfortable. The state beach (only foot steps away) was so peaceful, with barely a sole on this stretch. Both hosts were responsive to any issues or questions. Thank you

Absolutely loved our stay here - the photos don’t do the place justice! The view is phenomenal, the home is so beautiful and spacious and cozy. Lovely area to sit with family and dinner and just enjoy the sunset. Amenities were all as described. I loved the location — very private and peaceful, but still close to town and Point Lobos.

Highly recommended! This house is located in a private and quiet area. Once you get past the entrance gate, there’s a private road leading to the home, which offers a beautiful view to a neighboring field of grapevines. From inside the home, there’s a beautiful view to the fields. If you are in town for the wine culture, consider planning a visit to Willow Creek Wine Co., who offers amazing chenin blancs, and Union Sacre for ecclectic wines. Overall, great experience.

Wonderful AirBnB! Immaculately clean and even better than the photos. Good communication, easy to check in, and super comfortable with everything you could ask for. The house is in a great location to walk into town and enjoy the restaurants. Would love to stay here again some day!

Came here to stay for Cal Poly graduation. Emma's place is a great! Comfortable, convenient, spacious and quiet. Loved being away from the crowds and close to Montaña de Oro State Park - we walked the Bluff trail. Loved the thoughtful welcome - wine, handwritten notes and gift card for coffee to Nautical Bean. My teens loved the spa bathrobes. We would definitely like to stay here again. Thank you, Emma!

This was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever booked. In addition to everything they listed, they also added a lot of additional, small touches that made us feel cared for right from the start. Would definitely recommend.

We had a large group that rented both properties - the Hacienda House and Vineyard House. Both were excellent, as described, stocked with anything you need and communication was fast and helpful. Our entire family loved it and felt like royalty. Would highly recommend it and would come back again for sure.

Lisa’s place was really lovely. Everything was exactly as advertised but even better. We enjoyed the large deck and the beautiful view, the coziness of the fireplace, and the easy to use kitchen. The location is very convenient in a quiet and cute neighborhood and the house overlooks a large natural area of trees—we liked watching the birds flying by in the treetops. Can’t say enough good things about this spot, we would love to return soon!

My husband and I recently stayed in “Fancy Free by the Sea”. It met all of our needs. I loved the way it was decorated and it felt very homey. We appreciated the filtered water in the refrigerator and the available coffee, although we purchased our coffees in town. All in all, very cute, very relaxing space. I would stay there again. I gave it 5 stars.

The house is off the beach but a 2 min walk to the coast. We really enjoyed walking to restaurants and stores in Pacific Grove. Very short, easy drive to Asimolar State Beach and the Monterrey Aquarium.

We had a very peaceful stay at Michael’s place in the mountains and Michael was friendly and helpful in checking us in and providing recommendations for good places nearby. It was nice to sit out on the property too and enjoy the beautiful views. Would stay there again!

Perfect oasis in the beautiful Carmel. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sunset, a perfect place!

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Mary Anne’s little oasis. It is the perfect size for two people with everything you could need to make your stay comfortable. I would definitely book another vacation at her place.

Amazing views of the Pajaro River and Pacific Ocean. Short walk (300 yards) to the beach along a boardwalk or enjoy the views from the livingroom through the large picture windows or deck. Perfect for a couple or young family (the two twin beds in the second bedroom are quite small but my 20 something daughters had no complaints). Abundant bird watching opportunities along with the occasional sea lion\seal and otter.

We had a wonderful stay in Aptos! Hosts were very helpful, responsive, and flexible. You can tell they take great care of the house and think of all the details and amenities a visitor might need. Although we didn’t use the kitchen and bbq, everything you might need is there. The beds were very comfortable as well. The view is breathtaking, we even saw whales! It’s the perfect location to local restaurants, coffee spots, and grocery stores. Very close to Santa Cruz without the hustle and bustle. My family would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We’ve stayed at Pajaro Dunes before, but it’s been decades ago. Marc’s place was perfectly situated for privacy and views and was very clean and well appointed. The peacefulness and serenity were exactly what we were looking for. The beachy feel of the furnishings was charming and the unit included all that we needed including an upgraded and well furnished kitchen, a gas fireplace, a comfortable, king size bed and other essentials like extra blankets and a Kuerig coffee maker. Our only difficulty was when inadvertently trying to use the TV remote to change channels…Don’t Do That, Use the cable remote like it says in the instructions. Spent a thoroughly enjoyable four days here with side trips to Monterey and Carmel. Perfect home base for dining out and exploring the coast, and an excellent, proactive host.

The place was very nice and clean and the instruction to find the place was very accurate. Make sure to read the notes shared to find the property as it is a little confusing to find the property if you only rely on the google map. The instructions make it very easy to find it. The property was nice, clean, big, and had all the things we needed and we definitely want to go back. The host is very responsive even when I messaged him at 11 pm and the property is 5 minutes from the beach.

We had a fantastic time. The view was second to none, with easy access to the beach and restaurants. Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Great coffee shop within walking distance (albeit with a decent hill). We happened to stay when whales were just off the coast and saw them from the shore. Could not have asked for a better day. For those with mobility issues - you do need to climb about 10 narrow steps to get to the tram, which lets you skip the rest of the stairs. But there is no way around those first steps. Would absolutely come back.

This location is ideal for those who like easy access to hiking, walking, beach, pools etc. Also a short drive to Capitola, and Santa Cruz to the North. Views from the balcony are way better than the pictures. Stay here, you will not be disappointed.

I don't even know where to start. The condo is absolutely beautiful. The views were literally breathtaking. The pictures of this place were beautiful but seeing it in person was paradise on earth. You have a panoramic view of the ocean that runs the entire length of the condo. Absolutely gorgeous. Theresa was kind and very helpful with everything. The place was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. I can't say enough good things about this place. My mom and I loved every minute of our stay. I can't wait until I get to go back. Thank you Theresa. My mom and I had the best time. I forgot to add that we really saw whales from living room!!!!!

It was a great place, good proximity to the Oceano Dunes, nice view of the ocean from the bedroom. Very clean, nicely decorated. Easy check in and check out instructions.
