Vacation home in the Westerwald Westerwald heart

We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. As a trained hotel manager, I am particularly passionate about helping people rediscover the small and great beauties of life: by spending time with themselves, with their family, or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: Our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, and pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Vacation home surrounded by nature

If you are looking for peace, you will find it here! Our modern vacation home (85 m²) is located on the outer edge of the idyllic NRW gold village of Benroth, in the middle of the Bergisches Land (about 50 km east of Cologne). Surrounded by forest and meadow, nature lovers, hikers, mountain bikers, mushroom and berry pickers will get their money's worth. An inspirational space for creative people! In all four seasons, the location offers a diverse range of activities and excursion destinations. Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Apartment with terrace places

The apartment on the first floor is located on a hill near Rosbach, quietly at the end of the settlement. Walking paths in the picturesque surroundings are 5 minutes away and in the lovingly maintained garden, a terrace space with a view is reserved for guests. The access to the garden starts from the car parking space. We live on the ground floor of the house and we look forward to meeting you or greeting you in the garden. We will be hosts again because we have had beautiful experiences with travel ourselves.

Waldaue

Am Rand eines idyllischen Hofs im Westerwald liegt unser Standort Waldbach – mit weitem Blick über Wiesen und Wälder, soweit das Auge reicht. Im Hintergrund begleitet dich das sanfte Rauschen eines kleinen Bachs – dein Soundtrack zum Entschleunigen. Direkt ab der Cabin starten Wanderwege durch Wald und Feld. Auch mit dem Rad lässt sich die Umgebung wunderbar erkunden. Am Abend sitzt du auf der Terrasse oder am Feuer – mit weitem Blick in die Natur und dem Gefühl, ganz bei dir zu sein.

Close to nature in an old house with garden

The old house is situated in a small village on the edge of the Bergisches Land, a stone's throw away from the Westerwald. The house has been renovated in recent years, only the facade is still missing. There are six rooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen, a living room in the attic and a large plot (approx. 1,600 m²). The cottage is quietly located on the outskirts of a 300-person village, there is no thoroughfare, the main noises are the occasional bleating of the neighbor's sheep.

Simple but functionally furnished, clean room with daylight in the basement of our single-family home in Altenkirchen/Ww. Private bathroom 2 steps across the hall opposite the room. The hallway leads to our basement rooms, which means we sometimes have to go through the hallway. Mini kitchen. Wi-Fi. TV. Near DRK Altenheim. A travel bed can be added to the bed (1.40 x 2.00, for two people to sleep) if necessary. For guests with a baby, a reservation is possible after consultation.

Beautiful old building apartment in historic mill

Very nice old building apartment for two to four guests in a historic mill. Perfect for a hiking vacation or relaxation. In a picturesque location, outside the Westerwald town of Hachenburg with its picturesque market square and the open-air museum. Close to Marienstatt Monastery. Located directly on the Westerwaldsteig. Quiet and steeped in history. The first Chancellor of the FRG, Konrad Adenauer, stayed here. A commemorative plaque on the house commemorates his stay.

Apartment by the forest / Westerwald

Our apartment is located directly on the forest in the beautiful landscape of the WESTERWALDS. Close to Obererbach is the excellent WESTERWALD STEIG and other attractive hiking, biking and motorbike trails, ideal for day trips. Our village Obererbach belongs to the district Altenkirchen. In the village within walking distance is the train connection Obererbach (one stop to the center). You can reach the nearest shopping facilities in about 3.5 km by car.

Cozy attic apartment with its own sauna and large loggia in the edge of the forest and altitude. Hiking and MTB trails are right at your doorstep. Ruppichteroth lies in the wooded hills of the Bergisches Land, near Siegburg / Bonn / Cologne. The idyllic landscape offers an incentive to linger relaxing and a variety of opportunities for sports activities (hiking, cycling, horseback riding, kite flying, canoeing/kayaking on Bröl and Sieg in every season).

Circus wagon on the sheep pasture

Surrounded by trusting sheep, our circus wagon is under a roof of maple trees. An exceptional home with panoramic views for 1–2 adults. Sheep cuddling included! If you want to hike, cycle or slow down, you are in the right place in the Windecker Ländchen. The circus wagon is located on a separate property behind our house on our sheep pasture. Private access & parking available. S-Bahn connection to Cologne every 30 minutes (1 hour to Koelnmesse).
