The apartment is only about 300 meters from the famous hiking trail 'Eifelsteig.' Shopping such as Aldi, Lidl, Rewe are only about 2.5 km away. Furthermore, the accommodation is quietly located on the edge of the forest with meadows right behind the house. The historic town center is within 10 minutes' walking distance.

The chalet with a unique panoramic view from each floor is located directly on the edge of the forest and field in the beautiful Volcanic Eifel, near Lake Kronenburg. It is located on the edge of a small idyllic vacation home settlement. The house was completely renovated and newly designed with a lot of love. Surrounded by many hiking trails and beautiful nature, it offers the ideal starting point discovering the beauty of the Eifel with its numerous sights.

We welcome you to the Golden Sheep I. In the same house, 2 more sheep have been created, which you can also book on Airbnb. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, a fully fenced garden at a height of 120 cm and a comfortable lounge to lounge around :o) There is also a rustic fireplace room for long game evenings! Get ready to be surprised! Bookable from 1-6 people Dogs are allowed upon previous registration. Unfortunately, we do not accommodate cats.

Location: Right on Eifelsteig 8 "The Tuscany of the Eifel" Layout: - entrance area / Living room with small dining table, seating -bedroom with double bed - Kitchen with skylight - bathroom with shower / washer / dryer / towels. The kitchen is fully equipped and has basic cooking supplies such as oil, vinegar and spices.

Ahrquelle in Posthalterhof, built in 1683, with sauna

The Posthalterhof was built around 1683 as a postal station by Thurn and Taxis as a station between Cologne and Trier. In the middle of Blankenheim, less than 200 meters from the Ahrquelle, the Posthalterhof is one of the oldest buildings in Blankenheim. Located in the center of Blankenheim, right on the Eifelsteig and the Jacobsweg, it offers guests a place to stay, just as it did 300 years ago.
