The house was open from the sea and had a beautiful view from the room. A place with a special atmosphere, very comfortable and spacious. Quiet neighborhood, scooter ride to the center. Very warm service, especially one of the ladies who welcomed us, was incredibly kind and helpful. Despite the small wifi glitch, a portable router with an internet card was brought just for us, which shows a lot of commitment to the service. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. All this makes us want to go back.

Great stay in Bohol – peaceful and relaxing I had a wonderful stay at Lynette Guest House in Bohol. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was ideal – quiet and relaxing, yet still close to beaches, restaurants, and local attractions. The atmosphere was very calm, and it was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Bohol. Everything was well taken care of, and I really appreciated the overall comfort and convenience. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed at VAB Guesthouse for 4 nights and had a pleasant and comfortable experience. The house was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It’s a peaceful and cozy place—perfect for anyone looking to unwind. We had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Veronica on our last night. She was incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. Even in that short time, it was clear how much she cares about her guests and takes pride in the home she provides. We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciate Ms. Veronica’s hospitality. We’d definitely recommend VAB Guesthouse to anyone visiting Bohol.

The house or should I say mansion was amazing so spacious & even though the house is high up in the hills so it was cooler, every room had its own AC unit. The whole family loved it! The caretaker was great as well, able to sort anything that I needed including booking a taxi. This place was great & very peaceful & secure, I highly recommend this place.

A great place to stay as your temporary home in Tagbilaran City. Feels like home with beauiful veranda and view of the sea. What we also love is we’re able to cook especially Bohol have fresh seafood!! Great value for money. Just make sure to book your transportation in advance..

We stayed at this property for a work gathering, and it exceeded our expectation. The House of the Rising Sun was perfect for our group of 10 (9 adults and 1 child). Chris was responsive from the time that I was inquiring about many things before the actual booking, to the time that we were already in Bohol. He made practical suggestions that enabled us to maximize our time in Bohol. The van service provided by the Airbnb was a dealbreaker for us, because this made the airport transfers, the tours and the transportation to and from the beach and the restaurants so much easier (and cheaper!). The house itself was spacious and clean, and it came with all the creature comforts that one would expect from a good airbnb. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, and again this was a major plus for Paul and Chris' place since we did not want to be at the beach all day long. Thank you, Chris, for allowing us to stay in your lovely home. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect place to chill and bond with family and friends.

We stayed at Don and Grace’s place for 20 days — and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. I’m currently preparing for a bikini fitness competition and follow a very strict diet. Don went out of his way to accommodate my needs — he even built a grill area after I mentioned it! The internet connection is excellent, perfect for remote work. I had several online meetings without any issues. The house is spacious and comfortable. We were 2–3 people and it was just right, but it can definitely accommodate more. It’s quiet at night, which allowed me to get the rest I needed. The local fish market is a 15–20 minute walk away, and there are small stores nearby for everyday needs. There were thoughtful extras included, like coffee, drinking water, and more — things you really appreciate during a long stay. The peaceful mornings by the river were absolutely priceless. Don and Grace are incredibly responsive. We would love to go back again soon! Highly recommended!

Good location.In addition to restaurants and facilities for the resort, there are also shops with local gatherings, so you can enjoy it.There is a bus center and it is also convenient to the main island of Cebu.The room is clean and the pool is comfortable.It is also good that guests can use the private beach for a fee.There were no towels when I entered the room and the safety box didn't work, but as soon as I contacted them, they responded immediately.

This place is spotless! I’m thrilled that it has 1.5 bathrooms. The location is also great. We’ll definitely come back if it’s available again.

We spent a perfect week in Panglao in the accommodation offered by Jeralyn. Close to the French Touch Diving center where we spent most of our days. The accommodation was very clean and the sheets changed regularly. It's a very nice place, away from the road.

I like it. I think there are a lot of ants in the condo itself. You have to manage food well.

Stayed here for about 2 weeks after extending my stay. The resort is an amazing place to stay with very friendly people, a nicely sized pool, good food and the ability to rent a motorcycle scooter for a good price is also a very big plus. the only thing that I had trouble with sometimes is the connection of the wi-fi. There are also a lot of animals around the resort which can make a lot of sounds in the morning and sometimes at night. This didn't bother me too much but is good to know if you're a tough sleeper. Would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area again. (:

The view is priceless. And the host is very good the best you'll find around help you with anything Picked us up from the port and dropped us off and didn't want to take no money i tried offering, but he did not want to take it just a nice guy. There is a restaurant down stairs n it's got good food

We had a lovely stay here. Selina, the housekeeper, was really helpful, sourcing a bike for us to use, offering to do our washing and was very flexible with check out times (we had a very early transfer and Selina met us at 4:30am to help us check out). The house is very clean with a pool and nice veranda. There is a small beach within walking distance, otherwise transport is needed to get around (approx 5-10mins by bike to Bohol Beach Club area). A little bit hard to find, especially if using the “Grab” app for transport, but Chris and Eva gave clear instructions. Recommended restaurants in the area were lovely - Paprika and Cliffside. This was my second trip to cebu , and Queno place is perfect if you want to be near everything. You can walk right across the street and you have everything from coffee cafes , Japanese food, chicken & beer , night club , dunkin donuts , breakfast lounge with a full bar and food menu, and at night it's a hookah lounge upstairs.

This is a recommended place to stay for those who want to enjoy a private and quiet resort for adults. Everything was as described. There were detailed and accurate instructions on how to get there from the airport and how to check in. There were plenty of towels and a gift of snacks in the room. The clean kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. The bed was also very comfortable. The resort staff were all friendly, and the area was very calm and quiet. The resort building is quite far from the entrance, so you need a taxi to get out. You can purchase a one-day pass at the resort for $1,800, but the maximum you can use for meals is $1,100, and breakfast was $1,000. There are not many fish on the compact private beach. If you want to enjoy the beach, I recommend joined an island hopping tour.

Amazing place, great location , close to beach and restaurants. There was a lot of building work going on next to the building which made sleeping at night not so good but it could not be helped I suppose, Karl was a lovely host and made us feel very welcomed. Our family enjoyed our stay at this amazing home and will definitely stay there again when we visit again x

The space was clean and well kept. We had a great time with a large group stay with room for more. Ayala mall is 5 mins walk, easy access with good restaurants and shopping.We would gladly book again. Thank you again!
