Holiday rentals with beach access in Bonnechere Valley

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans cet appartement au bord de l'eau. L'emplacement est parfait pour se reposer et profiter de la nature environnante. L'arrivée et le départ se sont faits sans encombre grâce à l'organisation impeccable des hôtes. De plus, l'appartement était d'une propreté irréprochable. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Lynn was amazing. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The only negative if I had to give one is the 64 stairs from beach to the apartment, but we worked off some of the snacks. They offered a grill and hot tub. The location was peaceful. We would definitely return.

Beautiful private location with all you need for a relaxing stay! Great location if you are catching a local show or touring the Ottawa Valley.

What a lovely space. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Sofabed was topped with a memory foam topper and was so comfortable. Each room had a fireplace giving the whole unit such a cozy feel. Sarah reached out ahead to provide details on arrival and knowing the we were there to see friends for St Patrick’s Day had decorated the unit. She also provided a welcome basket with snacks and a binder with information on the area. Will stay again the next time we’re in Douglas.

Our stay at Carmel’s was exceptional. This is possibly the best Airbnb I have stayed at in a decade. Not only is she a welcoming host, but she takes care to ensure that every aspect of comfort and convenience is attended to. The space is aesthetically designed and decorated, and it has everything a traveller needs. Carmel was just as welcoming of our two dogs. Five stars all the way. Almonte itself is a lovely little town and I highly recommend using it as a base if you are looking to explore the National Capital Area or stopping overnight if you are returning to the GTA from Quebec or the Maritimes.

This place is really good for a couple who wants to spend some quality time in the woods. Deafening silence all around which makes it so special and peaceful to connect with nature :) Property was super clean and nicely maintained- Cynthia was pretty quick and precise with her responses as well. The only feedback I would give is that the mattress and pillows in the bedroom should be more comfortable and probably of better quality! Would definitely recommend this place for a couple of nights for sure :)

Die ruhige Lage mit der Nähe zum Algonquin Park hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Zudem war die Unterkunft mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich als Reisende wünschen.

Great Airbnb. Private beach was great for the kids and they enjoyed paddle boat and kayaks. Pleanty of room for everyone. Big kitchen with everything you needed. Loved the back deck. Will recommend to family and friend.

We loved our stay at Victoria’s beautiful house and property. The house was very comfortable and decorated to give a very cozy and peaceful atmosphere. The woodworking and renovations are beautiful- loved the photo album showing the process! The kitchen was fully stocked with quality dishes and cookware. The full size fridge, stove/oven allowed us to make home cooked meals with ease. The Keurig machine was a great addition for the coffee lover in me! The large dining table allowed enjoyable puzzle time and relaxing dining. The bed and pillows were very comfortable! The large deck and outdoor furniture let us enjoy the beautiful scenic property. A fireplace and wood were ready for use. The place is minutes from a beautiful beach. The golf course is nearby and very nice. The drive in any direction is scenic. Local grocery stores are a short drive to town. The welcome treats were a fun bonus that we enjoyed! Victoria is a wonderful, responsive host. A+ communication and checkin/checkout

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

Absolutely stunning setting and a very clean and well appointed rental. Charming vibe and super cozy set up. Amazing master suite and also very comfortable secondary suite. My family all felt “right at home” and we would definitely consider returning on our next visit to the Ottawa area. Jumped in the Ottawa River on May 18th and can attest to the cleanliness of the water and the nice sandy beach! Exceptional place to relax, refresh and recharge! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lorie's cottage! The cottage was incredibly clean and well-stocked with everything we needed and more. Despite the first two days being cold and rainy, we had a fantastic time indoors, spending quality time with our kids playing board games and doing puzzles. Once the weather improved, we took full advantage of the lake. The water was warm and perfect for swimming, and we loved having access to kayaks, a pedal boat, and paddle boards. It's the ideal place for a peaceful escape, and we would highly recommend Lorie's cottage to anyone looking for a quiet retreat.

The place is very nice, the kids liked the small sand beach. The water is very clean and nice to swim and fish. Views are amazing, and the store right across the street has everything you might need during the stay. Goran is great in communication.

We had a great stay at Sylvia’s place. Very easy check in and responsive host. The airbnb was a very short walk to shops and amenities. Would recommend!

Great place to stay! Out cottage was a bit small in the living/kitchen area but we made due. Close to the public boat launch which had alot of traffic but that was ok. Water was beautiful and beach area was perfect. Goran was always available to help with questions about his place. My family and fur baby had a wonderful weekend away. The store across the street is dangerous if you have children who like ice cream lol

This stay was simply perfect! I could ramble on but believe the hype, the space is wonderful and Sylvia was a fantastic host. Amazing value, couldn’t have asked for a better experience :)
