Jody's great. Really nice guy and he walked us around the entire place himself. His property is stunning with plenty of space. He even let us bring our dogs. The AC is strong and so is the internet. I brought my whole team out to work for the week. The surrounding neighborhoods are beautiful as well. It's a great space.

If you are looking for a quiet cove to enjoy the birds, mature trees, and rippling waters to kayak and paddle board this is the perfect place. We had access to it all, yet enjoyed being distant from the constant sound that boats and jet skis can bring. The house was perfect, sheets were soft and beds extra comfy. Every detail exceeded our expectations, the layout gives everyone a chance to be together or have quiet spaces to read or rest. Bring a hammock to stretch between the trees in the backyard. We spent a lot of time enjoying the deck with ample seating and perfect shade. We were also able to bring our boat to enjoy the full lake experience. The instructions for getting access to the lake were seamless. We took advantage of using the pool at the golf course included with our stay. Great place to stay . Very roomy lots of couches outside space was great. Comfortable beds the kitchen was great. They had everything you’d need. Totally recommend this place.

We were a group of 10 friends who all graduated high school together and wanted to reconnect. Des Moines was roughly the halfway point for most of us, so we chose this location. The house is in a nice neighborhood, conveniently close to a variety of restaurants and grocery stores. Check-in and check-out were both very easy using the keypad system. However, we weren’t able to get the gaming system to work. We also noticed there were no towels in the half bath on the main floor or in the kitchen, and we ended up running out of toilet paper during our stay. The layout of the home includes one bedroom in the basement with a shower and sink (but no toilet), a half bath on the main floor, and a full bathroom upstairs near the majority of the bedrooms. We initially thought the game room was in the basement, but it’s actually located in the garage. That ended up being a fun space, especially with the garage doors open and the Sonos Bluetooth speaker available. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Thank you for the great set up in your home for a fun filled family long weekend while we celebrated our son’s graduation. The home had a very large open floor plan which made for a great set up for our large family. They loved the huge sun porch with table and chairs, large backyard, hot tub, pool and we had a fire every night at the fire pit with s’mores. The home is clean and maintained well and it was easy to communicate with Hannah. Thanks so much for the great Airbnb!

We came to town for the Redbull soapbox derby and it was a nice quiet convenient place to come back to and relax. The pool, yard games and hot tub were nice for the young adults with us.

This was a phenomenal property! I wasn't sure before booking, due to the shared space aspect of the place, but it was not a problem at all. Even though the owners are on site (in the other, smaller house), they were unobtrusive. Jayden was very quick to respond to messages, and she was flexible with our requests. The space itself is a dream. The pool, hot tub, and fire pit are amazing. We also loved the amount of bathrooms and bedrooms on property. We had 9 guests in our group, but we never felt crammed at all. It was a spectacular stay all around!

We had a great stay! The house was exactly as described. We had plenty of room for our large family and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the game room and the air hockey table. We will stay again next time we’re in the area!

Perfect location to campus (just a 5 minute drive). The house was clean and as described. No issues at all during our staty. We enjoyed the hot tub as well!

What a find! Emily’s home was absolutely wonderful. She has thought of everything one could possibly need. It has been newly renovated and is in an ideal location in Ames. Emily answered our questions and was very willing to help us. This is a gem for sure. The best!

The house is lovely and perfect location with walking distance to ISU campus as well as to the city centre. Having two bathrooms was a luxury. The host’s hospitality was excellent. We will definitely come back!

Great stay! Nice, big house, which was spotless and had everything we needed and more. Friendly and responsive host—let us check in early. Fenced yard was good for our dogs, and being able to park in the garage was nice.

The house was clean and in a great location. Close to Iowa State campus and anything you'd need while traveling. Having access to the garage for a vehicle was a nice benefit too!

This little home was so perfect in every way. They had fun activities like board games and toys for kids. The kitchen was wonderful and had a few snacks in place, which was extremely thoughtful. We enjoyed the train going by (it wasn't very loud and passed by relatively quick). The bed was so comfy after a day of exploring Iowa! Overall, I really enjoyed our stay in Iowa. It felt like a like a perfect little home away from home. Now, I can't wait for us to come back to visit again!

The home is very clean and as described. Elaina is quick to respond with any questions and very helpful. There was an issue with our initial home we rented that was unexpected and beyond her control and she went out of her way to help us get into this home. We are very grateful for all she does!

We had 16 people in for a family wedding, and it was fantastic to be able to stay comfortably in one place so everyone could visit. Great accommodations with lots of places to visit in a great location with clear, kind, and helpful communications from our hosts. Great place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jane's property. It is located in a quiet suburban area, only a few minutes from downtown De Moines, with a modest small town residential feel. The home is excellently maintained. Jane definitely a "super host" ... friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. Her property demonstrates her pride in ownership and attention to details, for example clear labeling of the kichen equipment and other items for guest use. We would recommend that you consider staying in this property if you have occasion to be in the Des Moines metro area.

We loved staying here. It was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Nicely furnished and updated. Host gave clear and easy instructions for arrival and departure. Close to a running trail for the runners, as well as nearby food and stores. The back deck was very peaceful. Would book again!

Trish’s place was just as described and she is an excellent communicator. One person in our group is allergic to down feathers and Trish went above and beyond finding appropriate pillows and ensuring we had all we needed. She was thoughtful and responsive to other queries as well. Thanks Trish!
