Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bosnia

The house is even better than we expected. You will be allowed to spend your vacation in rural-style, handling fire in the stove, cooking on coal, and strolling neighbourhood upside-down. In a nutshell: bedroom is cosy, view to the lake is stunning, living studio on the first floor with a kitchen, where stove is located, is spacious and decorated, terrace is also huge, we personally loved to sit on the seesaw and drink coffee watching the lake. There are two bathrooms, each with a shower, on the first and second floor (second one connected to bedroom) Also the hospitality was over any estimates. We were welcomed with a shot of homemade rakija, also host helped us arranging a boat ride and was always there to help. Totally recommend, I left a piece of my heart there.

SHE House was as advertised. We quickly called her home feeling acclimated & comfortable. Our GPS sent us some terrible way initially but the locals were very friendly offering us assistance. Our host was patient & accommodating showing us how many ways to reach the house ("all roads lead to SHE House"). We really enjoyed how centrally located the home was to all things on Brac Island. We realized our visit was a bit early for the weather & the season when our original ferry from Makarska was cancelled due to bad weather but no worries we just had to go to Split. The wind was so strong it actually blew open the latched front door one afternoon. The soft throws in the basket were nice & cozy-really appreciated. Some of our favorite meals were at Pumparela Restaurant & Taverna Riva in Bol; Konoba Kopacina & Restaurant Ziza in Donji Humac; Gastro Diva in Makarska. Driving in Croatia is NOT for the faint of heart but if you happen to be on the D8 stop for coffee at Strada.

Thanks a lot to you and your family, the experience was great with a lot to do. One of the days the kids refused to leave the house. The host was always checking by messages and provide recommendations for the area. For sure I will recommend the place and if I come again it will be my first choice. Best wishes

Very nice and large accommodation with private pool. Everything you needed was at the accommodation, super smooth check-in and check-out and very nice host! Everything was also clean and the rooms were large and fresh.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Kozica! Everything about it was perfect — from the peaceful location surrounded by nature to the thoughtful design and comfort of the home itself. The house was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable holiday. Ivan was incredibly welcoming and helpful, always available if we needed anything but also gave us complete privacy. You can tell a lot of care and love went into creating this space — it's even better than the photos! If you're looking for a quiet retreat in the Croatian countryside this is the place to be. We had the most wonderful experience staying at Milena and Mirko’s villa. From the moment we arrived, Milena made us feel incredibly welcome. She was warm, thoughtful, and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. Her hospitality was truly above and beyond – always available, kind, generous and full of advice and local secrets.  Mirko was equally lovely – a kind-hearted host who regularly checked on the villa to make sure everything was perfect. He even brought us thoughtful little gifts during our stay, which made us feel extra special. The villa itself is immaculately maintained. The pool and hot tub are outstanding, and the outdoor summer kitchen is a dream come true – perfect for cooking and relaxing in the stunning surroundings. The view from the villa gave us a true sense of peace and escape. We can't recommend this place enough. It’s clear that Milena and Mirko put their hearts into hosting this villa. We would definitely return.

Fantastic nice place, absolutely lived up to expectations. Beautiful view! All we needed in terms of facilities. Very practical with three bedrooms + three bathrooms. A little annoying with barking from dogs in the distant neighborhood, but nothing that spoiled the good overall impression. We will gladly come back and can safely recommend the place to others. Perfect for a family of 5-6 people.

Great appartment, some oddities but superb location. The room layout was a bit odd, style was a bit dated, pull-out bed was so-so. Would I book again? Yes, certainly.

We had an amazing stay at Luka's place. Everything is as on pictures, the view is stunning, the duplex was super clean, modern and has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The surroundings are quiet et beautiful. Communication with the host was friendly and very easy. We absolutely loved our stay and will come back if we have the chance to travel again to that charming part of the world. Thank you for everything Luka!

Adna is a great host! Even though we arrived late, she welcomed us at the apartment and kindly showed us around. She is very friendly and answered all our questions no matter the time. The apartment has everything you need even a gym upstairs! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Bosnia. Highly recommended!

We had a most memorable stay at ivor’s place. The price point was incredibly reasonable for what we got. The view and amenities were outstanding. Ivor was always responsive, and when he wasn’t available on site, his mother was very helpful. It was so nice to feel part of the community! It’s such an idyllic village, and it was even more perfect because the huge tourist rush was coming to an end. We can’t say enough good things about the apartment, Ivor and his family, and we’d highly recommend staying with them. Thank you Ivor and family for your kindness and hospitality 😊❤️

The apartment is beautifully decorated, modern and very clean. Everything was exactly as described, without any surprises. The stay was pleasant and stress-free – we highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Marija's place. It's really cosy inside with really nice views outside and plenty of nice walks nearby!

It was nice place. If u have car it is easy and acceptable. Without car it will be terrible.

We stayed at Arzu and Emin’s place, and they were the most incredible hosts we’ve ever met. The house was beautifully designed with every little detail thoughtfully arranged , honestly, the best stay we’ve ever had. If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay in Bosnia, this is it. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Mountain Escape! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a memorable few days in this wonderful little house in the middle of the mountains. The place was super clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for a nature stay. The windows had a fantastic view of the forest and mountain peaks and the peace and quiet was priceless. The fireplace in the living room added a special charm in the evenings, while we enjoyed the warmth and relaxing atmosphere. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming, always available for any questions. They also recommended us great trails for hiking and hidden places in nature. We would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, nature and a true mountain experience!

A fantastic stay just on the outskirts of Zablak. The hut was fantastic- with everything needed for a great stay. Zivko and his wife were very friendly and their home and animals , especially their dog, all fantastic. Highly recommend this if you are looking for somewhere just outside Zablak, in easy walking distance of the town itself, with perfect access to explore Durmitor. A great stay.
