Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bosnia

The house is even better than we expected. You will be allowed to spend your vacation in rural-style, handling fire in the stove, cooking on coal, and strolling neighbourhood upside-down. In a nutshell: bedroom is cosy, view to the lake is stunning, living studio on the first floor with a kitchen, where stove is located, is spacious and decorated, terrace is also huge, we personally loved to sit on the seesaw and drink coffee watching the lake. There are two bathrooms, each with a shower, on the first and second floor (second one connected to bedroom) Also the hospitality was over any estimates. We were welcomed with a shot of homemade rakija, also host helped us arranging a boat ride and was always there to help. Totally recommend, I left a piece of my heart there.

SHE House was as advertised. We quickly called her home feeling acclimated & comfortable. Our GPS sent us some terrible way initially but the locals were very friendly offering us assistance. Our host was patient & accommodating showing us how many ways to reach the house ("all roads lead to SHE House"). We really enjoyed how centrally located the home was to all things on Brac Island. We realized our visit was a bit early for the weather & the season when our original ferry from Makarska was cancelled due to bad weather but no worries we just had to go to Split. The wind was so strong it actually blew open the latched front door one afternoon. The soft throws in the basket were nice & cozy-really appreciated. Some of our favorite meals were at Pumparela Restaurant & Taverna Riva in Bol; Konoba Kopacina & Restaurant Ziza in Donji Humac; Gastro Diva in Makarska. Driving in Croatia is NOT for the faint of heart but if you happen to be on the D8 stop for coffee at Strada.

Thanks a lot to you and your family, the experience was great with a lot to do. One of the days the kids refused to leave the house. The host was always checking by messages and provide recommendations for the area. For sure I will recommend the place and if I come again it will be my first choice. Best wishes

Jättefint och stort boende med privat pool. Allt du behövde fanns på boendet, super smidig in och ut checkning och väldigt trevlig värd! Allt var också rent och rummen var stora och fräscha.

My whole family was obsessed with this place. The adults loved the beautiful scenery and the peacefulness and the kids loved the hot tub and the swings. The house is adorable and very nice and the views were even better than the pictures. We loved meandering around Humac and being close to so many interesting small villages to explore. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat on the island of Hvar, you will be hard pressed to find something better than Mario’s place.

We had the most wonderful experience staying at Milena and Mirko’s villa. From the moment we arrived, Milena made us feel incredibly welcome. She was warm, thoughtful, and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. Her hospitality was truly above and beyond – always available, kind, generous and full of advice and local secrets.  Mirko was equally lovely – a kind-hearted host who regularly checked on the villa to make sure everything was perfect. He even brought us thoughtful little gifts during our stay, which made us feel extra special. The villa itself is immaculately maintained. The pool and hot tub are outstanding, and the outdoor summer kitchen is a dream come true – perfect for cooking and relaxing in the stunning surroundings. The view from the villa gave us a true sense of peace and escape. We can't recommend this place enough. It’s clear that Milena and Mirko put their hearts into hosting this villa. We would definitely return.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub hier. ( 2 Erwachsene, 2 Teenager, 2 Hunde) Alles war wie beschrieben. Bei Ankunft gab es sogar eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit im Kühlschrank. Die Einrichtung ist sehr hochwertig . Es hat unserer Meinung nichts gefehlt bezüglich der Ausstattung. Lediglich eine Kerze für draussen haben wir gekauft. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter lief super und unser Anliegen wurde sofort gelöst. Danke für einen perfekten Ferien Aufenthalt.

Der Aufenthalt war einfach perfekt! Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben – sauber, modern und sehr gemütlich. Besonders gefallen hat uns die liebevolle Ausstattung und die ruhige Lage. Der Gastgeber war super freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Empfehlung für jeden, der eine entspannte und sorgenfreie Zeit verbringen möchte!

Great appartment, some oddities but superb location. The room layout was a bit odd, style was a bit dated, pull-out bed was so-so. Would I book again? Yes, certainly.

Adna ve ailesi çok cana yakın ve sevecenlerdi. Eve gelir gelmez güleryüzle karşıladılar ve evi gezdirip tanıttılar. İhtiyacımız olan malzemeleri kısa sürede temin edip ulaştırdılar, evin içerisi de temiz ve düzenliydi. Evin önünde aracınız için ayrılmış bir yerleri mevcut, otopark sorunu yaşamazsınız. Adna ve ailesine çok teşekkürler.

We had a most memorable stay at ivor’s place. The price point was incredibly reasonable for what we got. The view and amenities were outstanding. Ivor was always responsive, and when he wasn’t available on site, his mother was very helpful. It was so nice to feel part of the community! It’s such an idyllic village, and it was even more perfect because the huge tourist rush was coming to an end. We can’t say enough good things about the apartment, Ivor and his family, and we’d highly recommend staying with them. Thank you Ivor and family for your kindness and hospitality 😊❤️

We really enjoyed our stay at Marija's place. It's really cosy inside with really nice views outside and plenty of nice walks nearby!

Stan je lijepo uređen, moderan i veoma čist. Sve je bilo tačno onako kako je opisano, bez ikakvih iznenađenja. Boravak je bio ugodan i bez stresa – toplo preporučujemo.

It was nice place. If u have car it is easy and acceptable. Without car it will be terrible.

Le logement correspond parfaitement à la description. L’environnement est agréable, la chambre spacieuse et confortable. La vue magnifique sur la mer. L'accès à la plage est facile et tout le nécessaire se trouve à proximité. Nous avons passé une très bonne nuit. C’était une excellente expérience. Je recommande

We stayed at Arzu and Emin’s place, and they were the most incredible hosts we’ve ever met. The house was beautifully designed with every little detail thoughtfully arranged , honestly, the best stay we’ve ever had. If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay in Bosnia, this is it. Highly recommend!

Wir sind sehr herzlich von Ivanas Mann begrüßt worden. Er hat uns auch später noch Tipps gegeben, was wir unternehmen können. Das Haus hat eine Top Lage super ruhig und man kann die Zeit perfekt genießen!! Die Gastgeber waren immer erreichbar. Das Haus war super sauber und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt!! ♥️♥️♥️

Igazán különleges szállás! Csodálatos panoráma. Jó hangulagot ad a kinti sütögető. Imádtuk az esti projektoros filmnézést. Tiszta volt, jól felszerelt. Bármikor visszajönnénk :)

More than one could wish for. We were pleasantly surprised with interior.

Zuckersüßes Haus, alles da, was man braucht. Obwohl das Haus nahe an der Straße liegt, ist es Nachts absolut ruhig. Ich habe noch nie so tiefenentspannte Hühner gesehen, wie dort. Die lassen sich sogar streicheln. Abends ist es ein Genuss zuzusehen, mit welcher Liebe der Gastgeber seine Tiere versorgt und in den Stall bringt. Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Die Parkplätze Curevac und Schlangensee kann man in wenigen Minuten anfahren. Supernette Gastgeber und ein exzellenter Begrüßungsschnaps.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad! Prachtig natuur en onwijs genoten van het huisje en de vuurplaats.

Господар дуже швидко відповідає, дуже чемний і приємний ! Доміки неймовірні і вони кращі, ніж на фото! Класне місце, велика площадка для паркінгу, дуже гарно ! Ще приїдемо !
