Access to the garden in the forest edge and the possibility of walking in the forest. Free parking and the house is a 10-minute walk from the bus connection to Aarhus city center. No pets allowed.

Enjoy your vacation in this unique and quietly located cottage high up in the Mårup hills. There are wide sea views from all sides. You will be staying in the middle of nature with a direct view of Busdalen, which was formed during the last ice age. With fields, horses and cows as the closest neighbors. The only way up here is the 1.3 km gravel road that goes through the courtyard of our neighbor and up to our cottage and the neighbors in the two cottages at the end of the road. It is 2.5 km to shopping and the beach at Mårup harbor.

Paid parking in front of the apartment complex, or possibility of free parking at Trøjborg (about 10 min walk)

While the area is residential and quiet, you have bus stops, markets, parks, and just 3km/10 min to the city center, making it an ideal base for you. Note the ceilings are lower than usual.

Cozy 1st floor apartment on our farm, located in rural surroundings. The home is centrally located in East Jutland, 18 km from Aarhus C and 9 km from the access road to the E45 motorway. The apartment has a south/east-facing terrace, where you can grill or light a fire. There is room for four guests with the possibility of extra beds. We have a sweet, child-friendly and calm dog, as well as four tame cats, who roam freely on the property. The dog and cats are not allowed in the apartment.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗
