The house is new and modern, and situated on idyllic Snarøya, known for its beaches and its tranquility while still very close to Oslo. Bus every 12 minutes straight downtown. Bus ride to castle is 25 minutes. Fridge, waterboiler and microwave oven. Linen and towels included. The Oslo fjord is 50 meters away, with beaches and walkpaths very close.

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful place. Drive 20 minutes out from Oslo city center and you are on a car-free island full of cabins, hiking areas and beaches. Enjoy morning coffee while watching the ferry come in the fjord. Continue the day with sun,sea and swimming. The cabin has a large garden with lots of space for play and cuddle in the afternoon for the whole family. A west-facing terrace with a laugh for the wind makes barbecue and outdoor dinner a cozy experience

The apartment is located in a quiet and seaside residential area only 4 min walk to bus and grocery store. There is also a short distance to great hiking areas and public swimming beaches. The apartment is about 20 sqm and contains a 180x200cm Swan continental bed for a good night's sleep. The apartment does not have a kitchen, but is equipped with a fridge and kettle. The bathroom is small and has a shower curtain for the shower. You will have your own car parking space.

Grocery store and deli on the island, several buy centers nearby and good transport to the Oslo Center. The house consists of two bedrooms with double beds, two bedrooms with two beds in each room, and TV room with sofa bed for two, so total sleeping for 10 people.

We were extremely impressed with the property. After an initial walkaround my husband was very complimentary about the fixtures and fittings, although wondered about the amount of space available. I then pointed out to him that there was an entire downstairs he hadn't looked around yet... a huge playroom area, a cellar, another bedroom, bathroom and laundry facilities. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to others, and when we return to the area will definitely be checking availability!

We had an absolutely fantastic 3-night stay at Mitra’s place, and what’s even more impressive is that we booked it with less than a day’s short notice! Mitra was incredibly accommodating, even offering us an early check-in to match our early flight, which made everything so much easier. From the moment we arrived, Mitra was warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The house was perfect — cozy, clean, and fully equipped for a relaxing getaway. We were blessed with beautiful weather, and spent hours soaking up the sun on the dock while admiring the stunning Oslofjord. It was an absolute highlight of our trip. One of the unique touches that made our stay extra special was the instruments and JBL stereo in the living room. We had such a great time playing music by the water, creating memories that we’ll cherish for a long time. Thank you, Mitra, for your amazing hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. We look forward to coming back!

We loved Kjetil / Christine's place! The home design was beautiful, the view of Oslofjord was fantastic, and it was very well stocked. The bus stop was also just steps away to catch the local bus to get to the train to the airport and other locations. I'd definitely recommend their place for a relaxing visit to Oslo in beautiful surroundings.

Super nice and accommodating host. The apartment is very nicely located in a green residential complex with its own parking garage. Nevertheless, you can get to the center of Oslo super fast if you want. The apartment is beautifully bright, modern and clean.
