Kid-friendly holiday rentals in The Bronx

Clarence was responsive and the house was as advertised.

Aine was accommodating, friendly, and on top of things with our last-minute reservation. This was an ideal alternative to booking two overpriced hotel rooms in the city and the home was certainly much more comfortable! On top of a pleasant stay in a clean home with plenty of space for the seven of us, the neighborhood felt like a much safer option for the two younger kids. We would definitely book with Aine again!

Very quiet street in the South Bronx. The place itself gives you plenty of privacy. You can take peaceful walks to one of the many Deli’s or grocery stores once you arrive. There a so many close by. Laundromats very close by as well if you need to use one. Tano and Clarissa even have a list of places they recommend as soon as you get inside. Subway is 6 minutes away that can get you to midtown in about 25 minutes. We went on this trip because we wanted to see games at Yankee stadium. And it is very convenient. You can go on subway to the game or even uber and it is not hard at all. Tano was very communicative with us. Any time we had a question he would answer right away. We would definitely stay again.

I got married this past Sunday at Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht club this past Sunday and we booked both of his units. I have a big family and we also booked another place 6 minutes away to accommodate everyone. He was so helpful and worked with me on answering all my questions and making the bookings very easy. When I say we were so impressed with his space, that’s an understatement. They even had a basket of goodies with a card and wine. I got videos and was supposed to come back to take photos but was so busy with my wedding preparations that I didn’t get to return back to do it. It’s definitely home away from home for my family while they were there! You can tell they take pride in sharing their home and their spaces with their guests! Would definitely highly recommend his beautiful place! Thank again John!!! We appreciate you and your wife for sharing your space with us!!

Wow wow wow! The best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Perfectly clean, modern comfortable furniture. Beds were so comfortable. Close to train and easy train ride to Manhattan. I can not say enough about this place. Awesome kitchen fully stocked with spices and coffee. There is nothing we needed! Has a fitepit and a squeeky clean grill outside. Super private - just really the best place I've ever stayed!!

Hilda’s place was great for our family on a tour of New York. The price was perfect within our budget, place was as described. Hilda was super responsive and took care of us promptly. The kids loved the games and the welcome snacks. On the flip side, The parking space is tight for a bigger car (ours was Honda odyssey). Once I parked few times, I got used to it though. The place didn’t have washer dryer, but there is a wash & fold laundromat within 0.5 miles. Overall, was great for our New York trip and we had a nice family time.

Nicholas is an outstanding host. Everything we needed was provided. The property was very clean and quiet. Very spacious, just what we needed. Everything is perfect except if you are taking Subway till Dyre Av from the downtown you have to be very careful about the creeps and bullies around.The place we stayed is very much secure and peaceful.Outside world you have no control over

We had our first trip to NY and we were very happy with the apartment and the owner. It was clean and comfortable and it had everything you need for your comfortable stay. Very cute and perfect Airbnb! We booked the accommodation for one week and planned to visit New York City. It is very easy to go to the City by train. After 10 minutes by walk, it is about 30 minutes by train and you will be in the center of New York City. The accommodation was incredibly clean and Yaa put so many small and cute details like soap, food, coffee, games, bathrobes etc. everywhere. It is very easy to feel like home there. The neighborhood is very quiet and its perfect to sleep. When there is a problem, Yaa immediately tries here best, to solve it. It was very easy to reach her, whenever we needed something. If I ever go back to visit New York City again, I will book this accommodation for sure again.

There was a lovely welcome package with a note, cookies and water awaiting us. They texted through Airbnb to make sure our stay was going well and we didn't need anything. Overall it was such an easy and relaxing experience that made our first trip to NYC a delight. I would come back again and highly recommend Timothy's place to everyone!!! Thanks so much.

Staying here was honestly such a dream! I felt right at home the second I stepped in. The place was comfortable, clean and super spacious! Such a wonderful stay will definitely come again! Anthony was an amazing host with fantastic communication.

Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the path in 5 min to connect to the NYC subways. On the walk, you pass multiple cafes and coffee shops. Great craft beer and wine shop on the corner. Pizza shop, Basile’s, right next to the PATH is perfect for a late night snack. The beds were comfortable, and even though there was some street noise heard at night, a sound machine was provided to help lull you to sleep. The only thing you have to be aware of is the unit is located on the 2nd floor, and you have to go up a narrow set of stairs which can be hard with multiple suitcases. Other than that, a comfortable and convenient place to stay with everything within walking distance!

We had a great time in the apartment, it was clean and everything we needed was there. Just like in the description. Comfortable bed and couch, great appliances, nice bathroom and everything was in good condition. Really close to public transportation and many restaurants. The ac was great after a hot and busy das in the city, it felt like coming home every evening. Thanks!

The view of the NYC skyline was exactly as promised in the pictures. Host was super responsive. The place was within walking distance to bus and ferry to NYC.

Great apartment in a nice area of Hoboken. We used this as a base for our trip to New York so did not spend much time at the place but the location is great, you are close to the station (10-15 minute walk) which takes you to Manhattan Midtown or the Financial District at World Trade Centre. The area in Hoboken is also very nice, you are nearby the Hoboken waterfront which offers great views of Manhattan and an opportunity to slow down from fast pace of Manhattan. Further you are next to Washington Street, which has lots of restaurants and bars, we particularly enjoyed starting the day with Bagels on the Hudson. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and had everything we needed. AJ was always quick to respond for any questions we had. Overall, would recommend.

I stayed here with my mom and I must say that upon our arrival it was effortless to find the designated parking spot and the apartment. The instructions with pictures were very helpful and the host was very accommodating and quick to respond to any of my questions. We found the apartment very clean and it just felt right at home for us. Super comfortable couch and beds too. 10/10 would come back if I am in that area again. Thank you Trish!

We absolutely loved our stay at Laurie’s place in Hoboken! The home is exactly as pictured—spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and incredibly well thought-out. Laurie has truly anticipated every need, making it easy to feel right at home. We were a group of six (three couples), and the space was perfect—spacious & comfortable. The beds were especially cozy. The location couldn't have been better—just a 10-minute walk to the PATH train, which made getting into NYC fast and simple. After long days exploring, it was so nice to return to a quiet, relaxing home base in Hoboken. The neighborhood itself is absolutely charming, with plenty of great restaurants and cafes. I only wish we’d had more time to enjoy Hoboken itself. We especially loved grabbing coffee just a block away at Hey Coffee People and relaxing in the peaceful backyard. All in all, Laurie’s place is a rare find. If it’s available, don’t hesitate to book. We’d return in a heartbeat!
