Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in The Bronx

This was a beautiful place, definitely worth it, Bobby and co host were very helpful and responsive. Very quiet and private space. Back yard was closed off and private. Will definitely recommend this to anyone staying in NY especially if staying close to bronx, queens manhattan. I’ll come back for sure

"The place was very cozy, just a few minutes from New York. Communication with the host was smooth, although the check-in was a little delayed because the cleaning lady didn’t show up, and the host had to organize the space. However, the place was tidy and clean, and the host was always available. I would definitely recommend this place." El lugar era muy acogedor y a pocos minutos de Nueva York. Comfy apartment (with a great shower) in a lovely neighbourhood. Close to restaurants, supermarkets and bus route to get into NYC. Estefania was a great host. Would recommend this rental.

We had a wonderful visit over NYE! It was so easy to get the ferry or an Uber to get into NYC. The view from the apartment is fantastic and the apt itself is comfortable. We would definitely stay again ☺️.

This is a large and comfortable contemporary house on a fairly quiet street in a nice area of Brooklyn. Lovely design and decor. We had the nice master bedroom upstairs with a great attached bathroom all to ourselves. Excellent bed and garden view. The host is very friendly and welcoming, and was helpful every day. She even bought groceries for us! She was always available but totally respected our privacy. Even tho’ there are 4 people and 3 cats in the household, it was always quiet and peaceful. The host’s 3 adult children come and go, and were always very friendly. We had full access to the kitchen and laundry. We even got our own fridge. We have done very few house shares, but this one worked out beautifully. Naheima is a very kind and is an interesting person to talk to. We highly recommend this attractive and comfortable home, and would happily return again. Easy walking distance to subway and several good restaurants. Merci pour tout!

Tom is a kind and available host. Everything matched well. Small downside on the flow of the shower (very low, to be changed would be better in absolute terms) but this does not detract from the quality of our stay. The apartment is therefore shared between several tenants (3 bedrooms) which offers a mix and encounters from all walks of life from different countries. Each tenant is very discreet, so pleasant co-rental. Located 10 minutes from the WTC by the nearby metro, it greatly facilitates access to the City. Thank you for everything Tom, looking forward to coming back maybe one day. Kind regards.

I had a wonderful experience staying in NYC! The host was warm, responsive, and always available to help with any questions I had. The room was exceptionally clean, cozy, and provided a perfect retreat after busy days in the city. I really appreciated the comfort and care put into the space — highly recommend to anyone visiting New York!

Great stay for our group of 9! We stayed 4 nights and found the rooms compact but sufficient since we were out exploring NYC most of the time. Emmanuel was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. He provided an extra house key when our group split up and allowed us to use the washer and dryer (including detergent), even though it was initially blocked off. The dryer wasn’t working properly due to a clogged vent, which we partially cleared and reported — Emmanuel appreciated the heads-up and said it would be fixed. Check-in/out was smooth, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. The 5 bedrooms were perfect for our group, and though we didn’t use the cute backyard due to rain and being out, it was a nice touch. The only downside was that the floors were a bit dusty on arrival. Overall, it was a great place to stay and worked really well for our trip. Would definitely recommend!

Relaxing and comfortable house and surrounding area, the bed was really good and comfy.

Great stay! it’s a perfect private basement that includes its own kitchen, bathroom , & game room. it’s only about 3 minutes from the nearest bus stop. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for a month and have family in the area. The location is great, easy access to groceries, Mamilton Park, the shopping district and delightful historic blocks of townhomes and brownstones. And, there a great wine shop across the the park where Pavonia Ave has been turned into an outdoor dining plaza. I personally like the upstairs downstairs living which makes the apartment easy for two. The kitchen is very nicely designed and stocked with all the accessories and great refrigerator and stove. The owners are right here and easy to communicate with. Access was a cinch. This is a great spot to hang out.

The view is truly breathtaking. It is a haven for relaxation. Unfortunately, the bus connection to the city is very unreliable and you have to take the route via Light Rail and Path to get to NYC. It's a time-consuming process. Otherwise everything's great.

It’s honestly a great place to stay. The only issue is parking. Definitely gotta make time and plan that out . Other then that perfect stay 👌

This stay was great in location and inside. It was comfy and clean. No issues at all throughout the stay and practical location.

Your best bet to explore NY. We happened to spend a long weekend and found Alex’s place just perfect. Its location is amazing, within walking distance to Central Park, many restaurants and supermarkets, and close to the public transport. The room and bed were comfy, and the flat super well equipped which allowed us to cook breakfast and meals. The host was most gracious, instructions were always clear and allowed us to store our bags so we could take advantage of our time in the city. 100% recommended!

I highly recommend Lee's place. It is exactly how it looks in the photos, everything is very clean. The bed is super comfy and it's quiet at night so great for a good night's rest after walking around all day! The outside space is perfect for coffee and breakfast in the morning and glass of wine in the evening after a long day. Lee is great for recommendations and is on hand to answer any questions you have. We had a late flight and Lee kindly let us leave our luggage until we were ready to go. I really enjoyed my stay here, thanks so much Lee ☺️

Eleonora’s place? Absolutely perfect. The location is ideal—right in the heart of Greenpoint, Brooklyn— quiet, clean, spacious, and full of charm. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The garden is a peaceful little oasis, perfect for unwinding after a day in the city. There’s so much to explore in the neighborhood, and Eleonora and Ben were the perfect hosts: friendly, responsive, and full of fantastic local recommendations. We were in town for a two-day music event, so our time was limited—but thanks to their great advice, we made the most of it. Can’t wait to come back for a longer stay!
