If you're planning a trip through Istria and looking for a peaceful, family-friendly retreat, we can't recommend Elvin and Ivana's place enough. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at home. Their hospitality was warm and genuine. The house itself is beautiful—spacious, clean, and clearly well cared for. It had everything we needed to settle in comfortably, from a well-equipped kitchen to cozy living spaces that made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The location is close to several charming small towns and villages, making it a great base for day trips. One culinary gem we found nearby is Anni’s Restaurant in Novigrad—a must-visit for homemade Istrian dishes at a very reasonable price. Trust us: come hungry. All in all, our stay with Elvin and Ivana was a memorable parts of our trip.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa la Vinella. The house looked as good as the photos and was spotlessly clean. The sun terrace was nicely sheltered and the hot tub and sauna were a hit with all the family. The pool was a bit too cold to use, but not sure the heating was on. Gergana was a great host and very responsive to our messages and queries. Would definitely return. 5/5

A great accommodation that facilitated our first boys' trip! This house was equipped with a cute swimming pool and great white wines under the sunshine. If you would like to stay somewhere quiet but enjoy the craziness of the surrounding cities, then this place is the one. We really enjoyed it and will speak warmly about it to our friends and family. Villa Luka was more than we expected from the time we pulled up to the driveway to when we got to into our super clean rooms! It is a beautiful house away from all the hustle and bustle. After getting groceries, we would sit outside, watch the sunset and discuss our day with supper, some delicious Croatian wine and delicious cheese carefully crafted by Branko and family! The location was high up on the hills and not too far from anything you wanted to visit along the coast. On our last night, upon Branko's recommendation, we went out to a brilliant restaurant in the local village, Primizia, and the flavours and food were all local fare and absolutely delicious! Branko was able to respond within minutes of messaging, with great info about the local surroundings. Overall, our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Villa Luka!
