Within walking distance 15 minutes from the Rhine, the local recreation area "Blaue Adria" is about 2 km away and ideally accessible by bicycle. Directly along the Rhine are beautiful bike paths towards Speyer or Ludwigshafen and a ferry runs every 15 minutes to Mannheim (Mon-Sun 5:30 am - 10:00 pm). Approximately 300 meters away are a supermarket, bakery with café and an ice cream café.

We had a great long weekend. Even though Christof couldn't receive us in person, the check-in and answering of questions worked out great. Everything on site was a little better than we expected, so we could really switch off. Sauna, whirlpool, fire outside, game nights (we didn't even get our own out), hikes, bike rides, movie night, barbecues... everything was wonderful and we are thinking about repeating the whole thing more regularly. One of our highlights in the accommodation was the record player as well as the record collection, which really represents an exquisite selection of music.

I felt very comfortable and was personally welcomed by the hosts Manu and Stefan (and one of the two sweet dogs). You have everything you need there, the view is a dream and the room is furnished in high quality. Even I, as a non-technical genius, got along super well with all the technical details :) I recommend a sleep mask for those who don't want to be woken up by the sun in the summer and want to sleep in, but for me that was the best thing :) In advance, you got great tips for restaurants and also on request an address for renting ebikes. I felt very comfortable and can only recommend it :)

A beautiful spot on our earth!! The rippling of the stream, the many butterflies in the garden, the chirping of the crickets... All this makes this little oasis something very special. We had a wonderful short break in this great cottage! It is so lovingly furnished and was sparkling clean on arrival. Michael and Birgit are very nice people, so you feel even more comfortable in their cottage. We were there with our two children - I had previously considered whether my son could get bored because there is "nothing" there - but these concerns quickly disappeared. He collected snails, counted fish, found butterflies, picked strawberries and was just happy there. 😀 The only disadvantage for us was that you can't darken the windows (so the kids were hard to get to bed in the evening😅) - but that's really complaining at a high level. Because otherwise everything was really perfect

Thomas' apartment is a great place to stay on your way to Austria. Schwetzingen itself is also worth discovering, as well as the nearby university city of Heidelberg. Good instructions in advance to get in. The apartment was spotless and very fully furnished. Several towels and also the kitchen has a large refrigerator with freezer compartment and a nice oven plus dishwasher. A TV with Netflix option is also a bonus in disappointing weather. Inside, the sound of the very nearby railway line is not disturbing. The only, but that is also the only, downside is the very bright lighting and in the bathroom, which is otherwise completely okay, something to hang the towels on would be practical. I would definitely recommend this apartment. Marian

Xiaomei was very kind and welcoming. She made sure we were very comfortable. I really appreciated little touches like having an adaptor and a phone charger next to the bed. Her balcony was lovely and we enjoyed the peaceful trees and nature around us. Having air conditioning was very helpful too! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!
