Beautiful spacious and clean accommodation - everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. Very quiet location and lovely large comfy bed, we both slept really well. Found some lovely walks close by and particularly like the Monsal Trail.

The showers (which is what you’ve actually came to read the reviews for) were top-notch—powerful, hot, and exactly what you need after a long day of exploring. Beyond that, the accommodation exceeded all expectations. It was even more spacious than the photos suggested, set within beautiful grounds that provided plenty of room to unwind. The location was ideal, with easy access to stunning walks and local attractions. Oliver was an outstanding host, always quick to respond and incredibly accommodating with all my messages. His attentiveness made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located getaway in the Peak District!

A really nice getaway place, whether for a few days or a longer break. The Annex was very cosy, clean and well equipped which made it really easy to settle in. Beautiful views from the bedrooms and a cosy TV room to settle in for the evenings. Very easy car access and ample space for parking right in front that was easy to reverse into. Paula was extremely responsive with her messages, provided clear instruction for finding the place and checking in and also very kindly accommodated our request for a slightly later checkout, which was really helpful! The location is on the outskirts of Chapel, so no noisy traffic, yet within easy access to shops and eating places as well as the many walking trails. All in all, a lovely place to spend relaxing time at and we’ll certainly consider this again in the future!

Booked this trip last minute and was not disappointed with our choice, the instructions for parking and how to find the cottage was spot on. Less then a couple minutes walk and you’re at all the coffee shops and pubs with a short drive to other villages and all the famous walks.

We were very happy with our stay : the home was clean and there was a very generous , thoughtful welcome basket to greet us. The best thing about this home was the location as everything we needed was within walking distance - restaurants, pubs and little supermarkets were a short walk which was perfect for us after being out all day exploring. We had an amazing stay at Vicky & Alex’s cottage. The house was fantastically equipped and beautifully decorated. Very comfy beds with high quality linens. Perfect for a girly hiking weekend away! Thank you so much - we will be back!

I booked this stay for my mum and partner who were over the moon with their time spent here. They came back and told me they thought it was such a beautiful accommodation, with stunning surroundings. Perfect for find a little respite, peace and quiet. They were delighted with how much was provided at the accommodation, Sarah had thought of everything. We had a fantastic stay at Richard’s place. It was perfect, nice and quiet and in beautiful surroundings. Richard was super responsive and very helpful! Highly recommend!

It’s like visiting your Aunt & Uncle. On arrival we were made a brew whilst we unpacked. John had a wealth of knowledge about the area for us to bike/walk in addition to our plans. There was a slow cooker which was brilliant as meant like at home we could put tea on before mountain biking for the day. There was everything you could possibly need including a spare towel for my hair which no other Airbnb has had. We will be looking for other things to do in the area so we can stay again.

This was an absolutely gorgeous place to stay, very clean. Felt very homely and nice to relax. Fab little outside area to relax in. Lovely comfortable beds, nice little touches left by Nick, we really appreciated the bread and condiments. Nick was very helpful and we would love to stay again if the chance ever arises. Thank you!

Lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Very warm and friendly welcome from the hosts, Suzanne and Ian who were there to meet me and explained how everything worked. Welcome pack a nice bonus and very much appreciated after a long drive. Flat was beautiful, light and airy but at the same time, homely and welcoming. Very peaceful location and felt very safe there, something very important to me as a female guest staying on my own. Great communication and the few queries I had during my stay were answered very quickly. Local shop within walking distance for anything you might need and a coffee shop which looked very inviting and a must try venue for next time. All-in-all, a wonderfully relaxing stay.

1 Dalebrook View is a thoughtfully furnished and very spacious apartment which immediately feels like home. Very comfortable beds and well designed living spaces with everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. Kate could not be more helpful and gives clear details and instructions for everything you need during your stay. Good dog walks can be taken from the front door and there is a small enclosed green area 2 minutes walk away called The Grove next to the Fish and Chip shop. It is an ideal place to briefly take a dog to at the beginning and each end of the day. We visited The Moon Inn in Stoney Middleton and nearby Calver Arms plus local cafes. All offering good food and drink options, although we found the Eyam cafés to be very expensive, busy, slow on service or closed. Our booking for three nights from Sunday meant we missed out on a few things not being open including the local Toll Bar fish and chips open Wednesday to Saturday. We will just have to return another time!

Rosie’s place was **absolutely perfect** in every way! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and right at home. The space was **spotlessly clean**, beautifully decorated, and had everything we could possibly need – from fresh linens and towels to a fully equipped kitchen and super comfy beds. Rosie herself was an **exceptional host**: friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She gave us great local tips (like her favorite coffee shop downtown!), and was always quick to answer questions. The little touches – like coffee, snacks, and a handwritten welcome note – truly made us smile. The location was **ideal*– quiet, safe, and just a short drive to Peak District . We loved coming back to such a peaceful space after exploring Peak District. **Everything was exactly as described** (or better!) in the listing, and check-in/checkout was seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother or more enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing time at Holmdene in the Peak District. was perfectly located for all the walking and trips/tours we wanted to do in Castleton. Charlotte & Stuart were wonderful hosts who greeted us warmly on arrival and Charlotte gave us a detailed chat on all the walks we could do tho we didn't get to experience all of them in our short stay due to weather. We had a lovely evening in the pod with friends and we felt very at home in the apartment which was spotless and well equipped for all our needs and we would highly recommend Holmdene to anyone looking to stay in Castleton. we will definitely be back for more visits. a lovely place to stay, perfect for 1 person (though would fit two people). the host very kindly messaged prior to mention they supplied milk, butter + bread, noticed I was vegan and provided alternatives! there was tea + coffee provided, plus lots of seasonings and condiments in the cupboards should you need. comfortable bed, clean + tidy space and perfect for a 3 day trip. would definitely recommend :)

What a great find. Perfect location for peaceful walks with my Dalmatian Daisy. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard with plenty of room and felt secure and safe. Most important to me was that it was dog friendly and it really was. Daisy had her own secure area to play in and this is just so helpful. Hosts are friendly and the info provided to help you to find the place is excellent, also lots of info in the accommodation about the local area. Would definitely recommend and also would love to stay again for a longer break.

Loved our stay, very clean, cosy and central. Lovely outside sitting area, next to river and gets sun in the morning. We enjoyed alfresco breakfasts. This was our 3rd stay, visiting family and friends in Macclesfield. Greyhound friendly which is fantastic.

A lovely stay in Wirksworth and so glad that we booked this place!! The décor throughout is lovely and boutique style with a very cosy and homely atmosphere. We stayed here for 4 nights and wished we’d booked for a couple more as there’s plenty to do in the local area. Angus was very responsive and on the first evening sent a message to make sure we had checked-in all okay, which was a nice touch. Only recommendation that I can find is to make sure you take some kitchen roll & surface spray as these little things can easily get forgotten when visiting places as this isn’t supplied. All in all, would love to visit again!

stayed for a total of 5 nights, spotlessly clean and space large enough for 2 people. off street parking, so quiet, well stocked fridge with jams milk etc. I really liked the bedside table that included to USB charging points. will definitely stay again when I am next visiting

A great spot to explore the peaks from! Plenty of walking opportunities from the house, super close to Bakewell & Buxton and a lovely local pub nearby. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Max’s place!

We had a lovely couple of night in Buxton. The apartment was as described and the location was great. Anna’s communication was great too.
