We stayed at this Airbnb for a bachelorette weekend with six adults, and it was absolutely beautiful—both inside and out. Three of us stayed upstairs, while the other three used the bunk beds, which were surprisingly comfortable and conveniently located near a full bathroom on the same floor. We were especially relieved to have a screened-in porch, which made it easy to enjoy the outdoors without worrying about bugs. The house was thoughtfully stocked with essentials, including a charming coffee bar and plenty of towels. Overall, we’d absolutely recommend this spot for a fun and relaxing mountain getaway!

This was a lovely stay! The house was clean (obsessed with the woody fresh smell of the pine) and had everything we could have needed. We even enjoyed stormy weather under the roof on the back deck!

My partner and I stayed at Eugene’s cabin for a weekend getaway from DC, and it was exactly what we needed. The cabin is peaceful, private, and perfectly set up for a couple’s retreat. We loved the cozy atmosphere, the well-equipped kitchen and the fun selection of board games for the evenings. The jacuzzi and fireplace were highlights that made our stay even more fun! The location is fantastic, just a short drive to Shenandoah National Park, local vineyards, and the Luray Caverns. Eugene was a wonderful host! responsive, friendly, and made everything super easy from check-in to check-out. We really appreciated how available he was for any questions.

The house was clean and offered beautiful scenery. The grill was located near the river, allowing you to enjoy cooking, dining, and taking in the view all at once. Due to the weather, the firewood was wet; it would be better if it were covered to ensure the fire pit remains usable after rain. Overall, I highly recommend this place and would definitely be happy to revisit.

A beautiful cabin, well updated, and well located. Loved that Maybelle’s is just a stone’s throw while at the same time you are nestled in the woods to getaway. Beds were super comfy, and creature comforts were available. Made for an excellent blend of rustic look/location while having new conveyances. Absolutely recommend and also want to say how I appreciated the personal touch of host reaching out personally to ensure everything was going well. Thank you!

We traveled with our 2 kids (2 and 4) and like others mentioned this listing has everything you could need! The listing even had step stools my 4 year old to reach the sink to wash her own hands. The hot tub was fantastic, extremely clean and comfortable. We visited Shenendoah National Park and it was a great home base. Definitely bring your groceries as it is a very secluded area and it’s a great space to cook grill, relax and reset ! Very comfortable, clean and organized!

The home was in a private peaceful area . We thoroughly enjoyed the big yard and the two swings for taking the beautiful scenery in. We relaxed by the fire pit and loved the lit up pathway walking out to it . The two person shower was a treat. It really was pretty. After we came back from dinner we played some pool in the game room and educated my sons on the record player which delightfully brought us back in time. One night here was not enough to enjoy all this lovely home has to offer. Highly recommend staying a few days when you come!

If you want a place with things in walking distance, this isn't for you. But you can't beat the view from the deck every morning. Place was rustic (which i like in a cabin!) but tastefully done - nice blend of the historic with newer touches. Beds comfy. Had everything you need. Corey sent good instructions on how to find it. Recommend.

I really do try to seek out unique hidden gems when I use AirBnB. Darlene's cabin is for sure on that list now! I was scrambling to find a place to stay to hike the Dolly Sods and surrounding area with my sons last weekend. I stumbled across this place, and it was PERFECT! Not just a great location for all the things you can do in the area, but also a great place to return to at the end of the day. The place was clean and comfortable, with a kitchen well equipped, so we had no need to eat out during our stay. The riverfront tiki bar was also a major highlight to my kids. Was a great evening activity to grab an adult beverage to enjoy classic video games, mini golf, cornhole, darts, etc etc..Darlene was a great host with and quick to respond to any questions I had... I would absolutely stay here again when planning a trip back to the area!

I wanted a getaway with my family for the week. Instead of typically going to Shenandoah we picked this cabin to spend time together. I was pleasantly surprised by how well stocked the host kept the house. They had everything from spices to condiments to coffee, teas and other kitchen supplies like a soda stream. The house is very cozy with a lot of blankets for you and the furries. The hosts also supplied hiking gear (sticks, hats etc), board games and fire making equipment. There is one very large loft style bedroom with a queen bed, futon, and tv and one private bedroom downstairs with two full beds. You could technically sleep 6-8 people if full privacy is not a need. Would go again with friends it’s a great spot to get out of DC. There were some nice hikes as well

Loved this cabin! Perfect for a little getaway. Close to lots of hiking and downtown Elkins but still far enough to relax out in nature. Ashley was a great host and responded almost immediately after reaching out. Would highly recommended the cabin if you are staying in the area!

The cabin was perfect for our stay in VA. It had everything we needed & was very peaceful & quiet. Beautiful setting!

Knaughty Pines was the perfect romantic getaway. Looked brand new. Super clean. Every comfort accounted for. We will absolutely be back.

Beautiful property! The cabin was very clean and exactly as pictured. Rachelle stopped by shortly after check in to see if we needed anything. We didn’t think about the lack of cell service at the property and had to drive back down the road to get enough service to pull up the access code to get in, but Rachelle saw the remainder of our party waiting behind and was able to let them in while waiting on us to get back. Once connected to WiFi we were able to make calls as usual. Can’t recommend this place enough! We would definitely book again!

Anthony was an amazing host and was so helpful in the communication process and booking and assisting us with all of our questions. This air b and b is absolutely beautiful and so much thought and intention put into the design and the surroundings in the woods added to the aura. The hot tub, sauna, and all the wonderful amenities made this getaway a dream. Such a comfortable bed and we had everything we needed. The cabin was a great retreat with a great view during a cozy rainy week in the mountains

Beautiful little cabin located about a mile off the main road. Low clearance vehicles will have difficulty accessing it (I drive a Honda Civic), but Pansy shuttled me up and down the hill. It really is off grid, I didnt have cell service or wifi but that is exactly what I wanted when I booked it. Highly recommend booking this cabin if you want a nice weekend away from the world!

This is THE sweetest little cabin surrounded by nature! We loved our stay at Melody's special place🌸🌿🐛🍄🦋🌞 We had the most amazing weather and walked all of the paths we could find. Unfortunately, recent rain water has washed away any hint of The Stream of Consciousness and we didn't feel safe walking through the mud and huge amount of leaves because of snakes and other creatures that were probably making their home in the piles. The meadow during the day was alive with butterflies and other insects and at night we saw the FULL Strawberry Moon and hundreds on Fireflies! I was suprised at the small dorm refrigerator and half a stove. Don't bring alot of food or you won't be able to keep it cold! Other than that, this was one of our favorite places to stay to date! Melody was a kind, friendly host and provided everything that you could possibly need 🩷 The small touches of love in the decor definitely showed how loved this tiny cabin is! We were SO cozy and comfy in this Airbnb! J&M

From start to finish, Carly and Garrett always kept an open line of communication. The home was clean, spacious, and the views, made their place the complete getaway spot!
