A busy farm shop with a Deli counter and cafe is on the outskirts of the village. Kippen was listed as one of the 20 best villages in Britain in the The Times newspaper.

Located in the peaceful hamlet of Brig O'Turk, it is nestled between two lochs. It has a well equipped kitchen, a lounge/dining area and a separate bathroom. The cottage has good Wifi. Dogs are very welcome. The area is especially wonderful for walkers, wild swimmers and cyclists. Next to the cottage is a small garden with views of Ben Venue.

The village boasts a fabulous pub/restaurant serving good food and chatty locals.
