Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

The Old Church An Ideal Scottish Countryside Stay

Our family house was once the village church. It was converted several years ago into a detached dwelling which is now available for you to use exclusively. ‘Bonny Strathyre’ is often nicknamed ‘the gateway to the Highlands’ and is an ideal location for ramblers, cyclists, hill walkers, folk touring Scotland, for those who just want time to relax and to ‘get away from it all’ or maybe just to spend quality time with friends/ family. The house can accommodates up to 8 people. Pets are welcome.

Buzzard is a cosy, dog-friendly barn conversion with original stone walls, a wood-burning fire, and a luxurious wood-fired hot tub, perfect for couples, or a family with children over 5 years. From the farm, enjoy beautiful views of the Menteith Hills and the Lake of Menteith, and stunning walks right from your door. After a day of hiking, cycling, or exploring, unwind in the hot tub or by the fire. You can order a delicious meal from us and meet the cows as part of one of our experiences!

Woodland cottage | close to lochs | Callander

Set in the beautiful countryside of Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, this is an ideal base for active or relaxing breaks. Walks and cycling trails start at the door. Lochs Achray and Venachar are within walking distance, spectacular Loch Katrine is just 10 minutes away by car while historic Stirling is within easy reach. Upstairs are two bright, ensuite bedrooms (one standard UK double, one king or twin). Downstairs is an open-plan living space, well-equipped kitchen and wet room.

The Wee Hoose

Matt and Annett welcome you to The Wee Hoose probably Scotland's smallest holiday home. Down a wee lane off the Main Street, you will find a charming cottage: one bedroom, open plan lounge/kitchen with feature wall and bathroom with shower. Callander is a vibrant town in the heart of the Trossachs National Park, indeed, right in the heart of Scotland. We do welcome pets also, but please note the Wee Hoose has NO garden, however, there are plenty of beautiful walks right on your doorstep.

Our "Newly" refurbished house has an outdoor raised balcony with seating providing stunning views overlooking the River Teith. We have a fully fitted kitchen, open plan living area with two sofas, a double bedroom and lovely shower room and to the rear is a garage. It makes a cosy and relaxing hub suitable for a short break or longer holiday and is in a peaceful central location only a two minute walk from the towns Main Street with its variety of bars, shops and restaurants.

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

This stunning log cabin is set in a wooded area covered in bluebells in the spring, some distance from the house, with private car parking, outside dining area. The cabin is furnished and equipped to the highest standards, with a wood burning stove making it extra cosy and comfortable at any time of the year.

This luxury glamping pod has a double bed, ensuite bathroom and its own kitchenette, whilst also benefitting from unrivalled views on Ben Ledi. Unlike many glamping experiences, our pods come with bed linen, towels and basic kitchen utensils provided, so that you can focus on enjoying your stay. This pod also has underfloor heating and a covered porch allowing you to sit outside and enjoy the view. All guests also have access to free WiFi and parking.
