The apartment was even more beautiful than in the photos: the location in the lower part of the old town of Ragusa Superiore in the middle of nested houses with the wonderful view of the breathtaking Ragusa Ibla, not only from the terrace, but also from 3 windows of the lower floor. The sophisticated design of tiles and many other details make the apartment a prime example of masterful, imaginative old building renovation. Ilenia was very helpful and gave us many tips. Although a bus stops around the corner, is advisable for the inspection of both Ragusas fitness for climbing stairs. Grazie mille

It was a little gem in beautiful Scicli! Away from the centre, in a secluded little street where cars were not allowed. Beautiful scenery in front of us, peaceful and only 10 minutes walking from everything. The house was clean and very sweetly decorated. Chiara was a great host, answered to every question very quickly and gave us some useful information.

Wow, absolutely stunning apartment. The walk is absolutely worth the view and ambience you get. An easy walk down stairs right to the middle of town. Bed was comfortable, AC and hot water worked great, and the large couch in the sitting room was perfect for a midday rest when it’s hot out. Highly recommend!!

This house is much more than just a fantastic place to stay! This house is an absolute work of art and the ones who planned, implemented and decorated it are real artists! I couldn't stop walking through the rooms and looking at the details. Everything is just beautiful and functional at the same time: from wardrobe hooks, sheets, towels and plates, to the furniture to the great stove. Only high quality materials are processed in this house, nothing is cheap or kitschy. No compromises were made here. There are some beautiful, tailor-made decor accents and otherwise there is no unnecessary stuff around! The walled garden is fantastic, but especially we loved the small viewing terrace, where you can sit in the morning sun. Scicli is a picturesque town, many beautiful restaurants are within walking distance and experiencing the Easter celebrations there was a very special experience. Thank you!

We had a brilliant stay at Alberto's place. The appartment was very spacious and equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Alberto was very welcoming and helpful on our arrival. The location is great with good restaurants, bars and cafes just a few minutes walk away. The cannoli that Alberto left for us was delicious and worth the trip just for that. Overall an amazing place to stay in a beautiful old town with a great host.

Laura and Luke are great hosts, very kind and helpful with great recommendations to facilitate a nice trip. The apartment was clean, in a great location with beautiful views and had all the amenities you might need.

For us it was the perfect place to stay. Charming, well designed apartment with unbelievable views of Modica. The terrace was ideal to have a glass of wine in a quiet area overlooking the city. You will encounter more cats that people here, still, it only takes few minutes taking the stairs to be in the very center of the town. If we are lucky to come back, we will try to stay here again.

Rudia's accommodation is a small treasure. We felt very comfortable here and would be happy to come back. Rudia is a great communicator: she was always quick to reach, had valuable tips for restaurants at hand and was always available for questions. Modica is worth a visit, also to explore Ragusa, Noto and other places of interest in the region. The apartment is very well equipped, quiet, air-conditioned and dark if you like and has a beautiful balcony for mild evenings. In short: this is a great place to spend your holidays.

First of all, the accessibility for transportation and sightseeing is very good. We all walked. It is convenient to travel by bus from the airport. It is about 15 minutes on foot from the bus stop to the accommodation. There are small marts around the accommodation, and large marts are about 20 minutes away. The Duomo Square and the fish market are 10 minutes away. The bus terminal for Taormina, Siracusa, etc. is 25 minutes away. In particular, the view from the balcony is fantastic in reality, better than in the photos. You can see the Baroque church right across the street, and it is good to enjoy a light drink on the balcony at the golden hour when the sun is setting. The surroundings are quiet. The accommodation matches the photos and description, and she is friendly. Really lovely stay and host. Francesca waited for our late arrival to show us the home. It was even larger and more luxurious than in the photos. Well equipped and thought out for guests. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We loved every bit of our stay! The apartment is in a great location, the design is amazing and it has absolutely everything one needs. We loved our stay at Badia appartment. Fabio was helpful, friendly and accommodating from start to finish, always available and never annoyed by our many questions. The apt is just as nice as in the pictures, little gestures like leaving a bottle of water and coffee capsule for arrival. Also loved the many tips Fabio prepared, and helpful videos. We just stayed on the terrace most of the time if we weren’t out and about listening to the music and buzzling of Piazza del Duomo and watching Etna lurking in the back. Francesco made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived - and even had a bunch of delicious Sicilian treats waiting for us in the kitchen, including a delicious Tiramisu made by his mother. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better host. Anytime we had a question, he got back to us right away. His place is a gorgeous, three-story home in Noto, super close to the center but still nice and quiet. We were obsessed with the rooftop terrace and the amazing views. Hands down, one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in.

Wonderful house in a quiet street in the centre of Ortigia. Easy to get to all tourists attractions. Supermarket steps away. The house was perfect for our stay, very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed, well equipped. The roof terrace and living space off the terrace was a very beautiful place to hang out. We loved everything about this place and Stefania is a “superhost” attentive and helpful.

Fantastic 3 weeks at Francesco`s beautiful apartment - superbly located on Isola Ortigia, an absoultely spectacular place. Lively even during winter and a number of sights (Neapolis is a must!). Went to the food market for fish and greens and made dinner at home every other day or so. Otherwise a number of very good restaurants within a 500m radius. Breakfast and lunches on the spectacular terrase, short/t-shirt at least half the days (when in the sun) even during winter. Francesco was very helpful when we needed some minor assistance with heating and dishwasher. The heating system was the best I have every come across in Italy - water heated radiators, not only the usual A/C. All in ll - spotless!

Very nice accommodation, the terrace is a dream and we felt very comfortable. You have everything you need.

A very nice apartment…. The entry sounds confusing before you get there but once you get there, it’s pretty straightforward and Giuseppe was always available and very flexible. There’s a lovely little back deck that’s eclectic and wonderfully private. Maybe a few hooks in the bathroom …. For the price, I would really recommend it.
