We had a team of 9 for a week and the place had everything we needed! Abbie was a responsive host and the location was fantastic. Memories to be made and non stop conversation starters. One of the most fun air bnbs that I’ve been a part of over the years. Thank you!

Four of us stayed in Lisa's place for the weekend and we had more than enough space. The outdoor area was definitely our favorite amenity. Sitting outside anytime of the day with a beautiful view of the bluffs was special. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. It was a wonderful time.

This quaint and cozy place was a perfect stay for our road trip. The patio was a great spot to enjoy dinner! The weather wasn’t the best but we made the best of it and did enjoy the pool for a bit.

Dave’s place was perfect for our family. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room. It’s an older home, but has been kept up very well, and is very charming. The neighborhood is beautiful and we loved taking walks every day with our kids. Dave was very communicative and responded immediately if we ever had a question. Thank you Dave, we hope to be back soon!

When 6 guests ranging from 13-79 all love the place, it’s a win!! It was so peaceful and we felt right at home! We had a blast with the arcade, pool table, & the hot tub! We highly recommend! Thanks to the host for going above expectations!

This was the best Air B&B we have stayed at! The house looks just like the photos. Beds are extremely comfortable! Deanna was proactive in welcoming us to the home, making recommendations when needed and answered our messages immediately. She is the definition of a “super host”! We spent our time at Shawnee National Forest for 3 days. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings in the evening around the fire and playing games with our 3 adult children. The Weber house was a beautiful home away from home. My group and I spent two lovely days there. The home was very well taken care of; you could tell they had put a lot of time, effort and love into this space. It was extremely inviting, cozy and in pristine condition. Although the town was small, they still provided recommendations for food, shopping and entertainment within the small town as well as some of the surrounding areas. They were friendly and great at communicating. Never felt like we were in the dark about anything, and all expectations were communicated in advance. Highly recommend this property and host!

This was our second time there. We love it. Our kids love it. It was even chilly and rainy but the fishing was good and the kids swam anyway. We just have a relaxing time. We met Jim one of the caretakers he was full of information great guy. This will be on our yearly trip calandar for years to come.

This was our second visit to Alto Cabin and we love it! It was pretty new when we first went, and now they’ve added a lot more touches that make it great like yard games and more kitchen supplies. We enjoyed lots of day trips for hiking and lounging in the hot tub at night. This is a place to go relax, not a place to go if you want the big city. Carbondale & Marion are both pretty close by and there are stores and a good butcher in Marion. The cabin is well equipped for cooking and has good WiFi for all your screening needs. We needed to contact the host one time for a question and she answered immediately. We are lucky to have found Alto cabin!

We recently stayed at King’s Quarters, and it was truly an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how impeccably clean the cabin was. Every detail seemed to have been thoughtfully considered to ensure guest comfort. The high-quality towels and linens were a delightful touch, and we appreciated having an abundance of towels available. It was also a nice surprise to find snacks, hair dryers, and luxurious soap and shampoo provided. These little details made our stay feel extra special. The location of King’s Quarters is perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. It is very secluded, offering a serene atmosphere where it was hard to even notice a single neighbor. The climate control was excellent, keeping the cabin at a comfortable temperature throughout our stay. Overall, we had a fantastic time at King’s Quarters. It’s an ideal getaway for those seeking comfort and tranquility. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

The house is a wonderful combination of historic charm and modern convenience. It is beautiful while being comfortable and welcoming. We found the furniture comfortable and the provided supplies and amenities ready to meet all our needs. The grounds are gorgeous and although the house is conveniently located off a main road - you feel as though you have escaped to a beautiful haven. Jerri was a great host that helped answer all our question before and during our visit- Thank you Jerri! We had a few small issues when we were at the place, but these were all resolved quickly and did not impact our overall positive experience. When we arrived, the lock was not working and ultimately it needed batteries changed. This required a 20-30 min wait to get. We also had a few maintenance issues, but again Jerri was extremely responsive to these and got everything working quickly. We would not hesitate to stay here again or at any property managed by Jerri!

Great place, recommend and would stay again

We had 10 people and there was plenty of room. It was very clean. Michelle was very friendly and we enjoyed the Honey Meade next door. I would go back again.

We had a group of 15 and this home was absolutely perfect for our stay! There’s a ton of gathering space, especially in the living room where the large couch and footrest easily accommodated everyone. The multiple dining areas upstairs also made mealtimes easy and comfortable. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked — we cooked every meal for all 15 of us without any issues. Having the extra fridge downstairs was a huge plus for storing all our food and drinks. The outdoor area is truly picturesque. We loved lounging on the deck, soaking in the peaceful surroundings, and listening to the local wildlife. All of the bedrooms were spacious, and it was a huge bonus that everyone upstairs had their own bathroom. The home had everything we needed and more — highly recommend for large groups!

We were four guys on a fishing trip, and Kathy's place was more than we needed and was much more than we expected. Very comfortable, maintained well. If your looking to relax in a quiet beautiful area, this fits the bill. Rooms very comfortable, more than enough bathrooms. Kathy provided some extra touches that we very considerate.

We enjoyed our stay and found the house to be comfortable and peaceful. Relaxing on the back patio was particularly enjoyable under a canopy of a number (very) tall trees.

This Airbnb was EXACTLY what we needed for a stay near friends and family for a family occasion. This listing far exceeded our expectations and we are already planning to book again this summer! The place is beautiful, comfortable, and made us feel right at home. 10/10 recommend!

Beautiful place . Right next door to Star View Winery . Very peaceful out in the countryside . I would recommend this Air Bnb to anyone . And the owner Regina was quick to respond to all our questions.
