Start your day with morning coffee on the terrace overlooking the lake. You just listen to the birds singing. Nature's peace surrounds you. Furry friends are welcome.

Hideaway cottage is located right on the shores of the pure-water Päijänne Ristinselkä. The cottage terrace has a beautiful lake view. You can relax in your own sauna. In winter, you can get to the ski slope directly from your door, weather permitting, or you can ski down the slopes of nearby Riihivuori. Play tennis on a rubber asphalt court, rent electric bikes, sup boards, snowshoes, kayaks, fish or hike while enjoying the spectacular scenery. We, the host couple and our dog Uhku, live on the slope behind the cottage.

In its noble solitude, a cliff on the property. The only cabin in the water, so here you're really alone without any disturbance. A child's friendly sandy beach and good berry forests right next door. There's plenty of sleeping space, in the cottage, in the bedroom, and in the sauna cabin. Of course, the most enthusiastic people stay in the lean-to atop a mountain covered with lichens and moss.
