Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Central Kootenay

The house is supper cute and in great location, close enough to walk downtown on nice days. Plenty of parking out front.

This was my second time staying at the hideaway and it’s safe to say that it’s been one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. For the accommodations you get, the price is a steal. The house is clean, well stocked, and expertly decorated. The location is also central to any activities you would want to do in New Denver, that being said the town is very small. Overall I’ve had an amazing experience both times I’ve booked with Che and I would recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a peaceful getaway in the beautiful Canadian countryside.

This airbnb is delightful! it’s comfortable, private, thoughtfully equipped, clean, full of beautiful house plants and extremely close to downtown nelson. I would say this is one of the best places I have stayed in through airbnb. I literally can’t find fault!!

Stephanie was super responsive. If anything her description undersold how nice this place was. We had a great three nights there!

We had a great 3 night stay at Shannon's place. Shannon was very helpful and provided us with information about events and places to eat in the neighborhood. The suite had everything we needed. It was super clean, comfortable and we felt at home right away. The suite is located very close to the hub of Nelson. I would definitely recommend Sahnnons suite and i will stay here again the next time i am in Nelson. Thanks Shannon for a great stay. Anne

This is the perfect spot for two people visiting Nelson! It's a short drive away so you get to enjoy the peace and quiet while also being close to everything. The house was easy to find and the view was awesome. We had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place!

This accommodation is wonderful. Lavonne has made a great effort to provide everything -and I mean everything - a guest could require. It's a spacious apt with a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable seating, a lovely back patio area facing a peaceful garden in a quiet location. It's 5 minutes or less by car to downtown Nelson passing right by the takeout window at Epiphany Cakes, a must stop. One of the best AirBNB's we have ever stayed in.

Great location, immaculate, beds so comfy everything you could possibly need. Everything worked first class Would definitely recommend. 5 Star for sure.

The address and google maps was a little off, I did a few laps of the block across the street. My confirmation gave one address but the address in front of the building was different. It would be more clear if the name of the building was given. Manager was excellent, attentive but not invasive. There were chocolates upon arrival, some delicious homemade cookies, choc dipped pretzels & fruit, and easter egg hunt for my younger child and even some delicious homemade cabbage rolls. Having laundry on site was a blessing. Place is exactly as pictured. Having a full sized kitchen to cook meals in for a family was great for a longer stay. Would definitely stay again!

Spotless. Clearly run by someone with high standards and an eye for the small details. Very high standard. Seems location with lots of birds life. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

This place is a dream. Just stunning. Pictures don’t do the view justice. We sat and watched hummingbirds on the deck at sunset, and woke up to the incredible sunrise in the morning from bed. The rental was very well equipped with nice pots, pans, cutting boards, etc. appreciated the nice coffee and French press machine.

We had a great time staying in Nelson and at Patrick's place. Check-in was very smooth and Patrick let us check in early. He was very helpful in assisting me with some repairs to my cycling equipment. He and Sara were very welcoming to us. It is walkable to get downtown and all the restaurants and coffee shops, but a bit of a hill climb to get back to the Airbnb.

This was a great place to stay. Our host was very accommodating with the place being exactly what was described. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good place to stay while visiting Radium Hotsprings. We hope to be back sometime. Gary

We had a wonderful time at the apartment. It was so comfortable after a day out hiking . The facilities are great and having a washer dryer was a bonus . It’s a quick drive to town or you can catch the resort shuttle bus around the corner . Lots of great places to eat and drink in Revy . We feel well rested after our stay .

Very comfortable apartment. Great views from balcony. Unfortunately, it faces a road used by trucks so is rather noisy, especially at night. The queen beds were comfortable, but would suggest that the twin beds are probably only suitable for children. We enjoyed our stay here.

We’ve stayed in a lot of air bnb’s but this one topped our list! It felt like home through and through! The kitchen was so well stocked with everything from pantry staples, to a great supply of pots, pans and everything else needed- plus the knives were actually sharp (such a bonus at an air bnb). Beds were super comfy and both bathrooms had everything you needed! They even supplied a solid amount of beach towels and a small cooler- perfect for day trips with kids in need of snacks! Laundry was another huge perk- and detergent was also supplied. The amenities were fantastic, instructions were clear, and the building is very quiet and we will definitely be back to stay there if we ever get the chance to visit Radium again- 10/10 stay. Everything went very smoothly, even when Pano’s check in system was on the ‘Fritz’ 😉, Alexander went above and beyond to ensure we got checked in at a late hour. We loved our stay and will be back!

This was our second stay at Mila's place. It was excellent and had everything we needed.

We were between a place in Golden or here. Glad we chose this. Perfect place to stay to explore the surrounding national parks and hikes. Everything we needed in the home and the beds were comfy. Definitely would recommend

This unit is like it is advertised. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked all our meals there. Everything was clean and comfortable. We would recommend staying here. The only negative thing would be there is a lot of truck traffic that goes by starting early in the morning.
